Philharmonie Lunch - only the best event ever. 30min of classical music played by a live orchestra. It’s perfect for those who have never experienced it before but aren’t sure if they ready to fork out the money for a full-length performance. It’s also a fantastic idea for the classical music buffs who enjoy a quick lunch break listening to the amazing performances put up in this beautiful hall.

Beautiful concert hall near the center of Cologne. Went here for a Nils Frahm concert, and absolutely loved it. One strange thing, they have staff running around warning people that it is forbidden to take pictures. I can understand this during the concert, but prior to the concert? Can't think of a single reason...

An absolutely STUNNING location. The architecture is beautifully built - everything fits together well. The seating is very comfortable too and feels luxurious. We came on a Sunday morning for the first time and enjoyed the experience a lot. The philharmonic orchestra played a beautiful set of Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty. The sound in the hall is just perfect!! I cannot wait to come back again. The pricing is reasonable with options for different price bands.

Amazing hall. The acoustics are excellent and the size is very big. I enjoy very much to play there as a musician.

Amazing Concert Hall, amazing acoustic, very well organized. The assistants don't understand a word of english, so it was hard to understand if i was allowed to take pictures before the concert.

This is a world class quality place for concerts... If anyone visiting Köln can get tickets for any of the shows that hosts will not regret at all, and if you live here and do not go sometimes then you should be regretting... See the different classical orchestras is an amazing and celestialexperience, as well as the WDR Big Band that is srsly top notch Jazz experience... maybe the best big band of the world, no kidding. Also the architecture creates a perfect acoustic and the location next to the old city center cant be better.

Incredible auditorium. The sound quality throughout the venue was amazing, and the seats were very comfortable. The players themselves are all so skilled, the two soloists in particular were a sight to behold. Also shout-out to the viola section (specifically first chair), who really brought out that rich, deep sound of the instrument with every note they played. The first viola section I've seen in a while who brought out that unique aspect of the instrument. The conductor was also awesome, showing genuine enthusiasm for each piece she conducted. The lobby was very well-designed, with tons of coat check booths, clean toilets, and reasonably priced beverages.

Beautiful venue, they also have a bar on premises so you could get you refreshments before or after the show!

Nice theater. Enjoyed a show there. In the heart of the city. Seating was superb.

Eclectic experience. Beautiful architecture, good value, and I happened to attend a wonderful performance by MASAA. Wonderful experience. The only downside, not allowed to take picture, even before the event starts.

Had the most wonderful evening listening to the orchestra play. The main violinist was also very impressive with not reading any music at all! As it wasn’t a fully booked concert we got our tickets bumped up! If ever in Germany we would definitely go back. As a South African not used to intermissions, don’t leave after the first half. We didn’t realise that it was a break and that the show would continue (brush up on your German) 😂.

👍👍 Everything exceeds my expectations. The choreography, the singing the dancing, the acting, the live band and the stage design all are fabulous. It is however better if you understand German to appreciate the show.
