Super warm hosts. Cheap to upscale dishes, which also applies to the drinks. Varied menu, combined with great dishes on the daily menu.

We discovered the restaurant by chance. The ambience is cozy and very inviting due to the candles and subtle lighting. Food and wine were excellent. The waitress (the boss himself?) was friendly and gave the impression that he loves what he does. Even though we were the last guests in the store, we were not pressured to leave immediately and were able to finish our drinks in peace. (Also when we asked whether the restaurant was now closing time). An extra big plus point for that, because such friendly interaction with guests is really a rarity these days. :)

Great place with very tasty Italian food. Changing daily menu, perfect pizza and pasta as well as great meat and fish dishes. Good selection of open and bottled wines. Very warm service, the boss is usually in the kitchen and cooks. Always very busy, especially on the weekends, so reservations are recommended.

My girlfriend and I agreed that we ate the best pizza of our lives here! The dough was amazing and the ingredients were very tasty.

I was directed here by a colleague and what can I say, it was good to follow the advice. Nice Italian as you would imagine. Nice selection of classics, but also some unusual variations that are definitely typically Italian. The service is friendly and attentive. The pizza oven in the corner is cool because you can watch the pizzas being made. I felt very comfortable and the food was really tasty!

Delicious. Good and high-quality fresh products are served here. A day ticket is also available and highly recommended. I would be surprised if anyone actually left here dissatisfied.

Great food, good value for money.

Pizza is almost always top notch, I think, depending on how much is in the stone oven. High-tech stone oven with 450 degrees. Noodles are also very tasty. You can't go wrong. ADDENDUM: Unfortunately, quality varies and the chefs change too often.

Whether pizza, pasta or a menu from the daily menu, everything tastes delicious and the service is very good. We have enjoyed coming to Mario and his team for many years.

We were there for Valentine's Day. We enjoyed the food and had a very comfortable place. However, the food was served at such a speed that you couldn't really enjoy the meal in a relaxed manner. We had just eaten half of the starter when the waiter stood in front of us with the pizza for the first time. It felt like we were looking at our plates the whole time and the bread with the herb butter could have been left standing. It all happened somehow too quickly. The pizza was then remade and arrived hot and tasty. Finally there was a limoncello on the house. The staff is friendly. Therefore all in all 4 stars.

Amazing food in Cologne's best Italian restaurant! Every dish we ate here was brilliant with the Vitelo Tonato being our personal favorite! The staff is always friendly and kind.
