Generally I am a fan of Decathlon,  but this time , I have an experience  which i dont want to go through. I had visited the store on the 4th  of June  to try some gravel bikes. They had just a road bike and they offered me to take it for a 30 days trial. I agreed and paid for it. On the 19th June , when I came to return it they checked it and it was perfect without any scratches, they took the bike and charged my card again for 850 euros, instead of returning the money, which I noticed later when checking on my bank account statement. Later on calling them to report this problem,  they informed  me that I have to go back to the store to get this refund once again. A bank transaction was not possible. May be Decathlon needs to make their transactions more flexible. I had travelled to this store nearly 100 km, by train and they make me do this again, its such a waste of time and money . Its pretty frustrating when the fault is on their side I have to go through  this suffering. I kindly  request the staff at the cash counter  to double check on amounts like 850 euros,  whether its supposed  to refunded or charged. It's a regretful experience .

Nice decathlon with very helpful and friendly staff. It was fun shopping here. Wouldn't doubt to come back if I ever need something sport related. Since it's underground you will lose reception, but they have free guest wi-fi available!

I love decathlon. I have bought running shoes for 19 euros and are the best ones I ever had. Not to mention nice people working there. I have only one small complain regarding packaging. ordered 1.5 kg weights and they came in really oversized cartoon.

the friendly personnel speaks always english as well & is fast to help you. the prices are ok. unfortunately I give only 4 stars, because quite often I find it difficult to find what I'm looking for there.Either the variety in sizes is very limited or there is only 1-2 colours of a product. I wish they could extended their product variety.

You get almost everything you need for your sporting needs here at a reasonable price but make sure to check inventory at the branch before making a visit here or else you might get disappointed.

There were messy and even dirty. The city center stores of the brands are not the best ones.. Dechatlon Köln is also not able to escape from this fact..
