    Service is a disaster. Communication is a big issue, .....a store so great and a service that exists only by name. I am extremely disappointed! After 2 months they informed me that I could not make a repair and informed me that I could send the product to the manufacturer for repair. I’m talking about one amplifier not something special....if you want something fast from them, nooooo, think twice!

Still 4 stars with which I think I can live very well. Because the range speaks for itself (Original) 02.01.21 Leider vergebe ich nur 1 Stern nach heutigem Telefonat mit Herrn R. Am 02.01.21 um 10:26 Uhr. Unfreundlich, unhöflich, desinteressiert. Habe am 23.01.18 einen Controller den Pioneer DdJ-SR2 gekauft, und man sagte mir beim Kauf ich hätte 3 Jahre Garantie. Da meine Firma gespeichert war hab ich die Adresse genommen. Der Verkäufer teilte mir zu keinem Zeitpunkt mit, das ich dann nur 1 Jahr Garantie habe. Sehr sehr ärgerlich. Ich werde wohl in Zukunft bei z.B. Musik Produktiv in Ibbenbüren einkaufen, so enttäuscht bin ich über den Service und vor allem die Freundlichkeit von Herrn R. 2019 4 von 5 Sterne Leider nur 4 von 5 Sternen da bei meinem letzten Besuch, der ja etwas her ist der Service nicht rund lief und auch die Freundlichkeit in der Licht Abteilung nicht gegeben war. Trotzdem 4 Sterne mit denen man denke ich sehr gut leben kann. Da das Sortiment für sich spricht

    Very disappointed. I ordered few thing because of some nice Black Friday deals, and the store told me to pay the full price. So the Black Friday deals were basically false advertising. I do not recommend this store.

    I thought the Music store service was at Thomann's level. Unfortunately it is absolutely different: slowness in the fulfillment of the order and customer care that responds in a useless and not very proactive way (I requested a firm deposit and was denied, the sender can make these changes at any time) But the unforgivable thing is to ship a new guitar with obvious signs of adjustment of the bridge made with improper tools (small screwdriver) that has irreparably ruined the chrome plating of the bridge screws. YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO SHIP A GUITAR LIKE THAT! Edit after PayPal Claim : The seller admitted it was an ex demo, he offered me a refund on the return, so this guitar will probably be put back on sale like this. BE CAREFUL!

    I really like this place, there's basically everything you ever want/need for musicians and those alike, but I do have one really big complaint and that's with the guitar/bass amp testing rooms, sometimes there's so many people that stay in those rooms for so long, when I went there it's basically impossible to try guitar amps out, I honestly think there should be some kind of time limit/queuing ticket or something. But overall the service people were all really nice and the selection of instruments and equipment is great, I really recommend a visit. But before you go, if you have got any bags with you, remember to bring a 1 or 2 euro coin with you to store it in a locker, as backpacks or large bags aren't allowed in the store. (And honestly I really wished I was told about this first, as I travelled far from the store to almost give up on getting in as I didn't have a coin to store my bag, maybe some kind of free bag keeping or card payment would have been nice)

    I have been a customer since 2008 but, as many things in life, the store seems to have changed for the worse. I wanted to order a new guitar, my first new guitar since 2010, everything was fine as usual, but then they have raised the price of the guitar WHILE I was checking out. I was in the process of entering my PayPal data and when the site brought me back to the order screen, the price has changed from 595€ to 666€. I was lucky that I did not press on the "order now" button out of excitement. I can understand that market-prices can change every hour, but usually not if the product is already being bought, or in the process of doing so. No other store has done this before. The worst part is that the cheaper price was still shown on the internet presence for 2 more days. No answers since I asked why they would do this. I was even fine with buying a different guitar model, still no answer. I'll give you 1 star extra because of the pleasant memories I had whenever I visited the store in Cologne. Sorry Music Store team, but I will have to order from certain other stores from now on. Seeing the other reviews also has shown me that the once great customer support and friendliness has been replaced with nothing more than a race for profit.

    Very poor experience trying to return something that I purchased. The return section of their website doesn’t work at all and trying to get a return label via customer support email is taking a lot of effort. I’m probably not going to order here again, my experience with Thomann and the way they handle returns is a lot better and smoother.

An employee of the complaints department refused to ask what was going on. After about 5 minutes, I asked his supervisor to speak, but this was done with the following sentence: "That's what I'm here for, my supervisors only take care of the important things". The fact that there are still 600 € buzzing around the room with my order does not seem important enough to him. It's actually a shame, as I've always thought very highly of this business. (Original) Bisher immer abolsut zufrieden mit dem Store gewesen. Leider musste ich jetzt eine andere Erfahrung machen. Am 28.12.20 bestellte 3 Artikel in einer Bestellung. Diese Bestellung wurde dann auf zwei Pakete aufgeteilt, was aufgrund der Größe nicht anders machbar war. Am 30.12.20 kam eines dieser Pakete mit 2 Artikeln an. Leider war einer der gelieferten Artikel kaputt, was auf einen Produktionsfehler zurückzuführen war. Das andere Paket war nach wie vor nicht versendet. Heute, am 06.01.21, habe ich dann mal nachgefragt, da sich am Status nichts ändert. Ein Mitarbeiter der Reklamationsabteilung weigerte sich hier nachzufragen, was Sache ist. Nach ca. 5 Minuten bat ich seinen Vorgesetzten zu sprechen, dies wurde jedoch mit folgendem Satz: "dafür bin ich da, meine Vorgesetzen kümmern sich nur um die wichtigen Dinge". Dass bei meiner Bestellung noch 600€ im Raum schwirren scheint ihm also nicht wichtig genug zu sein. Schade eigentlich, da ich immer sehr viel von diesem Geschäft gehalten habe.

    The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Ordered a bunch of items, one item was missing and I have received the wrong one instead - okay, human mistakes can happen. I have called and emailed the customer support and I was ignored and misunderstood. After waiting for two weeks, finally someone said that they will send the right item. Guess what? Again a wrong item was sent. Of course I have tried to call the customer support again, and again someone had me waiting for a while, and like always - hung up on me. When waiting they also ask you to dial '1' for a callback once there's a free employee. And guess what? For almost three weeks now, non of my callback requests have been made. The customer support team is just the worst. They are ignoring people, hanging up the telephone before even answering, and not reading the emails. I am really about to file an official complaint because I am not getting the right item I've paid for or my money back. I have already placed an order with Thomann because waiting for 3 weeks now (and counting) for the right item is just ridiculous. Worst customer support ever.

    The worst after service experience ever. I ordered a pair of needles for my turntables and they never sent them to me! They asked for an additional payment after a month and I asked for a refund. I am still waiting for my refund and they don't respond to my emails since I asked for it. TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID!!!

    Terrible online service. No reply to mails, no information about deliveries or purchases. Furthermore answering arrogantly to requests as proved below in their answer to my review. This after a coworker didn't reply to a mail about a 1000 euro order until I called them 10 DAYS later. This company misinforms about both availability and delivery and does not communicate when changes are made. As a customer you have understanding for delays, even big ones, but PLEASE communicate. It's the least you can expect when placing a 1000 Euro order. I'm now a very happy owner of a piano bought from your competitor which was delivered within 5 days as promised. It is my hope that Music Store will understand the importance of honesty and communication in the online business. Being professional about music is just not enough.

    The way this shop handles its customers when it comes to a problem is terrible. I ordered 140 euros worth of stuff which is being sent to a wrong address and when I asked to amend that (via phone and email) they stopped replying, completely ignoring me. If you want a reliable shop, I suggest you look elsewhere. EDIT: I provided them the correct address and as such it is completely their fault, for which they do not want to take responsibility. Once again I suggest not to buy from them, especially if you are a professional musician like me.

    The largest store of musical instruments in Europe. Each floor is dedicated to a certain type of instrument. Everything can be tested. You can play in the testing rooms. Friendly staff. there is a cafe, dining room, toilets. Also, if your child takes a long time to make his choice, parents have a convenient place to wait))

    Wow, I really liked this store. Four stories high with each one having its own instrument. It’s gigantic and if you like playing or music in general, you can spend quite a little time in it without even seeing it pass. I recommend to every person who likes music!

    Very unprofessional. My ordered was 1,5 year delay (acceptable due to Corona situation) and when it came, I paid the amount, however they gave it to an other costumer. When I contacted them they say I have to wait an other 5 months until they receive the item again. So basically they kept my money without delivering the item. I strongly advise everyone to look for more reliable music stores.

    Terrible service. We ordered a piano online only to find out 2 weeks later that it was not in stock. The store did not notify us at any point in time. When we called to find out what was causing the delay we accepted to receive it later than expected only to find out a week later that the delivery had been delayed yet again. Once more, we had to contact the store ourselves to find this out as they did not have the initiative of notifying us. Customer service did not seem to care at all if we decided to cancel our order or not. We ended up purchasing the piano at a different store. Finally, we sent an email with some suggestions to the store only to receive a short email stating that did not have a customer order on hand. That's reassuring.. Will not order again.

    This is heaven for muscian!!! Plan your time to spend 2-3 hours as minimum... But if you decide to buy something you can easily add another 1 hour to get what you buy from warehouse... But it is perfect place if you are dreaming or do music for hobby of professionally!!!

    Very poor customer service. Won't give me my money back within 14 days return period. I'm am a professional guitarist from The Netherlands and therefore have a business number. That's the reason they won't send me a return label and won't give me back my money they told me. Nuts! I'm gonna post this on every forum I know. Not gonna order anything from this store again!!

    The store is well organised on four floors and I could literally spend hours here. They have a great selection of instruments, especially for me as a guitar player🔥The in-house workshop helped me already and it was very fast. And as Bonus, any coffee is just 1 Euro! 😉 The only downside is that it takes a bit of walking to reach it with public transport (about 10-15 minutes), which is fine for me though.

    I would like an explanation from the staff of this supposedly professional music shop please. Saturday midday: we walked into the piano department, with a signage of the place "keine Selbsbedienung"/ "no self service", to which we interpreted as okay, we must ask staff before trying out pianos. We asked Staff 1: he said ask Staff 2. Staff 2 answered: "rather not". We entered the next half of the piano department, asked Staff 3, to which he answered "there is a reason why the sign is there". So please explain also, why was there another female customer who was at a piano, pressing a few keys? In addition to the confusion of not being allowed to try the pianos, the discrepancy baffled me. Unwarranted rudeness from staff in customer service is one thing, but to have pianos on display and not allowing potential buyers to try the pianos before purchase is another. No professional pianists will be forking out tens of thousands of Euros for a piano without playing the instrument first. Please explain this business concept. Wouldn't it be easier if you just close the doors? I'm a concert pianist, and I do not recommend this store to any professional or aspiring pianists. _______ Update to Shop response: Thank you for your reply.     I bought a Gibson Moderne for €2500... Took it to the service guys to adjust.. they took less than 5 minutes to do the check up and set up. Went home.. action ultra high, buzzing, nut too high... went back the next day... surprise.. the neck had a bump... They wanted to repair it! I asked for a new guitar.. luckily they had one in the store... another 5 minute check up and set up... went home.. again action too high in the nut, some buzzing... another visit... The service guy was a different one... He took a little more time with the guitar and he even said that the guitar wasn't properly adjusted... went home... still not perfect adjusted... I ended going to a Guitar Store to pay extra to have my guitar set up in a professional way...

    TERRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL ROB YOU. I bought an Item from the company on the website at the start of December. After the item was never even delivered, I had to chase up with them several times over email and attempted phone calls to find out what was going on. I then NEVER EVEN RECEIVED MY FULL REFUND. I HAVE BEEN ROBBED. Absolutely disgusting. They are now ignoring ANY ATTEMPT I make to comtact them.

    Very bad service. The machine I bought was not working properly. Would not recommend this store! They will not gave me a refund within 3 days and did not do anything to help me. A computer say's no mentality. I have way better experienced with Thomann or Just Music. (I bought it online as a Freelancer)

    I ordered a piano that was on stock and was promised that the delivery would take 5-7 days. In the end the piano was not on stock and no one informed me. Every time I called I was told that the delivery is delayed and after a month and a half I cancelled my order. The service was really bad!!!! If you are looking to buy a music instrument online I would suggest to go to another store.

    The mixer (Pioneer DJM NXS2) that I bought at Music Store broke down after 1.5 year, it was still under warranty so I sent it back in October 2022 for repair. It was kept almost 2 months in the warehouse before being sent to the Pioneer repair center...In April they refused to reimburse me, saying that it was almost ready to be fixed. Now in July 2023, I am still waiting with absolutely no news from my mixer. Last month Music Store sent me a weird message saying that my mixer was finally sent but that the postman could not find my address (the same address where they sent me the mixer when I bought it). So strange.... So now that I am asking them where the hell my mixer is, their answer is :" I don't know, cross your fingers". It's becoming more obvious that their whole operation is run like a scam, someone they know must intercept the gear somewhere. I will never ever ever buy anything from Music Store, not even a guitar pick, this has been the worst experience I have ever encountered while buying something online. Attitude and lies and now theft... Time to contact the authorities

    This store is a joke. Zero contact, non-existent customer service. My parcel (worth 1,400 Euro) was lost in transit. The store does not respond to e-mails (the Polish language service shown on the website does not exist, only once someone from... Russian export wrote to me!) Is this the famous German solidity? If I still have no contact with the store, I will report the matter to a lawyer or the police.

    Spend 1000's of euro's here. Both online as in the store. But to find out that in the end they are a horrible company. They ignore EU laws (raising prices after an order is placed and paid and force you to pay extra afterwards before shipping the product) and they hardly respond to messages. Even on replies to their own questions. In fact, they ignore you at all after they send a broken product and will find a way to neglect their obligations of replacing the faulty product. Horrible horrible horrible store. Everything is fine when there are no problems. But once something goes wrong this is a customer "service" purgatory.

Vor ca 2 Wochen habe ich bei der Hotline eine Frage bezüglich meiner Bestellung gehabt, da am 3. Tag noch nichts passiert ist. Als erstes war eine Dame dran, der ich meine Bestellnummer durchgeben wollte. Antwort: " Nein, so nicht. Erst sagen Sie mir worum es geht!" aber in einem Ton, welchen ich so von denen noch nicht kannte. Ich wurde nach meiner Frage dann direkt durch gestellt und der zuständige Mitarbeiter meinte zu mir "Das ist nun mal so, die derzeitige Lage lässt es halt eben nicht zu und das müssen Sie hinnehmen". In letzter Zeit bestelle ich fast nur noch bei Kirstein. Dort sind die Mitarbeiter immer sehr freundlich und beantworten sämtliche Fragen ohne Hektik und den Anschein eines trostlosen Tages. Sehr schade Musikstore, dass kenne ich besser von euch!

    Visited to look at guitars with partner. Huge space and a lot of choice. I was interested in the sound healing instruments including kalimbas, crystal bowls, tibetan bowls, handpans etc. I was pleasantly surprised to see these instruments were here!!     Had a great experience here. People were extremely nice and I had the liberty to test as many guitars or pedals I wanted. The guitar was chosen and within 30 minutes I walked out the door with my new strat. The first pedal I got recommended immediately hit the spot, so that one will be arriving at my house soon! Also, love that you can eat and drink here to take a little break in between.

    I recently ordered a Kramer SM 1 electric guitar. It was delivered in 4 days. The guitar works without any problems and I didn't need to change anything because it was ready to use immediately, it just needed to be tuned.     I saw horrid reviews regarding people receiving used items passed off as new, etc. here so I don’t have the confidence to purchase anything too serious from them. However, I did give them a shot for an order of some PET acoustic panels and it was an overall positive experience. The panels were sealed, fresh out the factory and reasonably priced. Reason for 4 stars is that shipping was quite slow, so if you need something urgently and you’re ordering from outside the EU bear in mind that it may take a while. The tracking status “froze” for a while, but they were quick to open an investigation with DHL and it was delivered promptly after. Customer service reps are alright. It was a pleasant surprise after seeing abysmal reviews. Update: changed from 4 stars to 5. Ordered another set of acoustic panels.     Awful service after purchase. (Looking through other reviews here, this appears to be a recurring theme with Music Store.) Purchased an inexpensive electric guitar about a month ago. It came with a Music Store "certificate" that claims it was setup properly. After finally getting around to playing up the neck, it was clear that this guitar had not been intonated correctly or at all. I was able to easily intonate five of the six strings perfectly. The low E-string, however, just wouldn't intonate. I'd maxed out the bridge adjustment, checked the nut, adjusted the action, changed the string, and lowered the pickup a bit. Still flat at the 12th fret. I wrote to Music store seeking a solution and even raising the possibility of exchanging the guitar for a more expensive one that should be more refined, and paying the difference. All I received was an e-mail reply suggesting I learn how to intonate and to search YouTube for instructions. Not helpful. Turned to reddit for advice and was finally able to coax the string into intonation...just barely. I will NEVER shop from Music Store again. Ugh.
