Akira is a tiny restaurant with high-seat tables available for about 16-18 guests at a time. But Omg is it delicious here! Just steps away from Friesenplatz, on the corner of Hildebald Platz & Klapperhof. Only inside seating is available. The menu is extensive, especially for such a small place, ranging from cold & hot appetizers, plenty of fresh sushi choices, a full page of Ramen & udon soup options... We tried two hot appetizers (hot kimchi with fried tofu & the prawn tempura). Both were amazingly delicious. For main course we tried the udon soup with beef (so many tender and delicious slices!) & one Ramen soup with veggies and gyoza. Both were the best tasting noodle soups we had in a really long time. Japanese beer, wine and spirits are also on offer! Loved it!

Leider war das Ei oben drauf komplett durch und dadurch alles sehr Trocken Und der Reis hat nach Naturreis geschmeckt, welche ja einen sehr starken Eigengeschmack hat und war auch total anders anders als der klebrige, weiße Reis aus Japan den man kennt. Das hat den Geschmack für mich einfach total ruiniert. Das Fleisch war auch nicht das leckerste und sehr zäh. Ich habe zudem einen Cocktail bestellt und ich glaube es wurde nur für die Farbe etwas anderes als purer Schnaps reingetan. Ich hatte mit jedem Schluck das Gefühl ich würde heute nicht mehr heimlaufen können. Sie hat es also sehr gut mit uns gemeint. Nach der Bitte den Cocktail etwas schwächer zu machen wurde er minimal verändert. Ich habe mich nichtmehr getraut nochmal zu fragen :( ich musste ihn leider stehen lassen Das Ambiente des Ladens ist jedoch super gut und die Bedienung an sich auch total nett.
