Nice variety of dishes in the menu. I ordered their mixed kebab platter and it was good. Quick and friendly service.

Came here for a quick group lunch. They were very efficient in accommodating us. We ordered the usual döner dürum type things, but I decided to try the hammelkoftfleischsuppe (lamb head meat soup). The gamble paid off, it was actually a pretty nice soup, the head meat turned out to be tongue, which was delicious. They gave us plenty of fresh bread to dip in the soup. Baklava was decent. Also the floors were mysteriously slippery.

I often go there for lunch. Very nice stuff and delicious food.

Delicious and lots of food for the price. Might be a bit hectic but its well worth the price. The staff is straight forward and its a great place to take a break from walking and enjoy some great meat and bread.

Stumbled on this place as we were walking around the cathedral in Cologne. Wow. Looked legit. Line outside and Donner in the window. Good clues. Walked in around 10 PM to have dinner. No German for me so I struggled with the menu, but I think they took pity on me because I look famished. Eight all that you see in the photographs which was phenomenal. Service was off the charts.! Definite must!

Unprofessional waiters who extra charge you for the menu which you didn't ordered. I should only have a to go meal because they mixed up my order. Otherwise the food is tasty.

Sehr schlechte Kellner mit schmutzigen Händen. do not go there, you order them with meat, and they give you without meat and say that you did not order correctly. I say add meat, I'll pay, they say I need to buy another one

Had excellent lamb pockets wrapped in pastry, meat is cooked over open coals. Good authentic Turkish cuisine and good service. Recommended.

We had the Pizza Döner and it was delicious. Nice staff and freshly cooked food. Took some baklava take away and it was delightful as well!

I ordered the chicken doner sandwich and it was amazing!! It was big enough to share or save half for later. The frites were of course on point. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Dönertasche is very delicious. Will repeat again if coming to Cologne.

Spent a couple nights in Köln in December, 2022 and this was my dinner spot almost every night. It’s open late and conveniently located between a handful of hotels/hostels and the city centre. It has a few options for vegetarians and vegans (the falafel is amazing). Great service and great food in a pinch.

I didn't fly all the way from home to here to try Turkish food. But the day I arrived in Cologne and was walking around to hunt my dinner this restaurant came to my attention right from the corner of the hotel I stayed. Quite a few people lined up and all seats seemed taken on the Christmas Eve. Luckily I got the table and a super friendly man, Merdeka, attended to me recommending Kuzu Pirzola (4 Lammkoteletts mit Salat und Reis or Grilled lamb with salad and rice). At the beginning, I felt reluctant because I did not fancy beef or meat that night but then I decided on it because that would seem to be the only choice left for me when browsing through the menu. So I just gave myself a why not kinda reason to munch Turkish style lamb. It turned out to be something I could not stop eating, and the perfection lies in the combination of lamb, shredded veggies and a grilled red hot chilli. The bread starter with special sauces was good as well. The restaurant is not far from the hbf station of cologne. So if you get into this town , suddenly become hungry, and have no idea of what to eat, just give yourself a try. You may not want to go as far as turkey to try delicious home cooked Turkish dishes.

A very good options for vegetarian, They have a very good and neat sitting , Also the staff are really good they speak in English too . Overall 5 star service & food ..I am a vegetarian so choose Falafal teller with rice it was very good option. Sehr gut und schmeckt lecker.

Pleasent place, with good food and prices. We tried lentil soup and it was better than what we had in Turkey and UAE.

This restaurant is so nice. I just visit there because our accomodation was 1 min away by walk from the restaurant. We ate nr.29 with vegetables and meats that were fresh and well-cooked.

Excellent kebab to be had here, really good sauces (especially the mint sauce). I had a late-night takeaway, with the slight problem that i was not provided with any foil wrap, bag or anything to carry my purchase with. Great tasting stuff with the added bonus that it was not overfilled, making eating the food a mess. Card payments are ok. Snappy service, recommended.

Accidentally came upon it and it looked and sounded good. Normally I would’ve have wanted all the salad on my diner sandwich but the flavors were amazing. Should’ve just split one with my wife cuz these things are filling!! Great fries also, highly recommend

The best and closest place to have Dönar near Cologne hbf. Its been almost two years in Germany and comparing from all the places i eat dönar, i feel the flavours they have in this place is different because they barbeque the chicken and not cook it on the usual rotation slab of chicken. It a must must try if you are in Cologne. They also have a lot in the menu, check the pictures i posted.

The food is not that great, and the chicken was raw. Additionally, it seems the waiters have a problem with people of color. I am uncertain why they behave in such a manner, especially considering the restaurant's location near a tourist attraction. Instead of displaying racist behavior, they should strive to be welcoming and inclusive to all patrons.

Now this is a special joint. When you look in from the outside you would most likely keep walking and that would be a shame. The food is awesome. Last week I ate there every evening while on business in Cologne. The food is just amazing and the service is very very friendly ... And you get Turkish tea at the end for free well at least I did. Seriously it is the best Turkish food outside of Turkiye ... A very hot recommendation.

The food was delicious and too much. 100 % recommended. Very nice people as well. But the toilet (men) was not in good condition.

I saw the review that if you are gonna take 1 dish, you can’t sit there so I just tried asking and the server welcomed me. I had pommdoner and it was nice

Going here for 10 years. This year, after the pandemic, quality of the food really suffered. Döner Teller - salad tasted old, meat at times raw. This was my favorite place. Not anymore.

Empty plates says enough! Good food, right amount of spices, friendly staff, everything fresh, clean place and right prices. My whole family enjoyed being there.
