Mostly showing signs of a good hotel, but not outstanding. A shadow of its former self. The rooms are clearly showing signs of needing a refurbishment. The in-bathroom radio system is decommissioned but buttons and speakers still exist. The beds are ageing and the general decor needs tidying up. Lastly, two of the three lifts broke down during my stay, causing excessive queues at peak times. I have no doubt this used to be an amazing hotel. Give it a refurb, and it’ll be amazing once again.

I spent a lot money on Pullman Resorts and Hotels before and I had a great time in its Thailand resorts, but I will not stay and recommend Pullman to my friends again. I came to Cologne for a family emergency and accidentally booked wrong dates, I asked front desk, called hotel twice to request to change the dates. The staffs were very cold blooded, ignorant, not empathetic to my situation, refused to help and had very rude attitude with my tough situation. Pullman once a trusted brand of mine and it abandoned me when I needed it the most. I am very disappointed.

Super nice staff, great location and clean room. Amazing view from the 10th floor. Free mini bar. We could leave our luggage at the reception before check in and after check out, which was really nice. The door to the bathroom was broken and we couldn’t close it completely. Unfortunately the terrace bar was closed when we visited. But the glass elevator had an amazing view too :)

The restaurant manager needs attitude training. I showed 3 documents to get in to restaurant even I was already hotel guest! It was like immigrination centre. I asked wine menu she told me 4 names without prices and vintage!

The hotel services were exquisite, the location is near all the best landmarks in town, and this hotel's unmatched perspecasity coupled with it's sheer indefatigability makes it the best hotel in any realm of human endeavour.

Unfortunately, the rooms are crying for renovation (there were some broken/fallen peaces in the shower!). It was extremely cold in the room and especially in the bathroom, no meter what I did with thermostat the temperature was the same. Only good thing was bed and sheets, very comfy, big and pleasant to sleep. Breakfast was nothing special, except smoothies. I expected a lot more from Pullman hotel and for that price!

This is a great hotel. We had a Dom view room, which was great for watching the sun rise. Spacious, well laid out, good minibar refreshed daily and included in the price per night. Immaculately clean, very good location, wonderful glass lift and excellent staff. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

Great location, near the city center! The beds were so comfortable (the pillows as well!), breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly.

We chose this hotel for a short sight-seeing stay in Cologne and we were not disappointed. Less than a mile from the Dom and the railway station it was a convenient location to explore the city. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent.

Had no sheets on my bed. Asked front desk for sheets, told me they would bring them, never did. Front desk also said they would talk to housekeeping to put sheets on my bed. Still didn't get sheets. Uncomfortable stay. How do you not give guests sheets? I would stay in a different hotel that knows how to make a bed and resolve an issue when it's brought up.

Good standard of hotel with excellent breakfast. Lovely room with a/c. The items in the minibar really are free! Staff seemed confused over restaurant availability on Sunday. Firstly we asked if e needed to book and were told no. Then later we were told the restaurant was closed but we could order room service. Other guests were told that there was no room service either! Anyway, we did get dinner via room service and it was excellent, if 10 minutes later than promised. 15 mins from the Dom, it's well located.

We got a room that was different from the pictures on the official website. In the pictures, there were two sinks, balcony and we didn't get any of this, even though the hotel at those days was quite empty. They overcharged us with fees during the checkout, even though on the website, it is said that all fees are included. Bar on the top was closed, even though it said in Google that it was open. After all, it is an ok hotel, good spot, comfy, good bed, ok breakfast.

The only thing is that the wifi wasn't working for a long evening, and since this was a business trip, it was critical to have access. The service, room, and location were great for what I needed. The breakfast was nice.

Wow, what an amazing experience! This place truly knows how to impress. The staff's attention to detail is commendable – from the beautifully adorned decorations to the meticulous room details. And guess what? The fridge comes loaded with goodies, an unexpected bonus! The room itself is a dream – super cozy, with blackout curtains that ensure a good night's sleep in that enormous and comfy bed. Plus, the cherry on top is the fantastic location. Totally worth it! 🏨🌟😍

Excellent rooms with all necessary facilities. Very clean and well maintained. Reception staff very helpful and efficient. We will return for future visits.

In my opinion this hotel relies on location and does not see need for further efforts. This was surely the worst Pullman hotel I ever visited. From the check-in ("Good day, I would like to check in" - Receptionist: "Okay") till the end (Receptionist: "Good bye" without any questions), anything in between was of equal level. From the reception you can look into the office rooms behind which seemed irritatingly disorganized to me. I also found it remarkable that a lot of staff was standing in there while people formed considerable queues at the checkin. Smell near the lifts reminded me of a mix of mainly pool and a scent of sewage - this did not change during my stay. Rooms are small for their price, view to the Cologne Cathedral which was sold at a considerable expense was partly obstructed by a construction crane. One reasonably friendly receptionist moved me a few floors up after noticing my shock about the room size and status - that was a nice gesture. Room size did not change however. Breakfast was not good at all, but the worst was that staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers and super stressed, while trying their best. Why do I want to start my day in such a stressed atmosphere? No thanks.

Stayed at the Pullman Cologne whilst in town on vacation. This place is super nice. Really great clean massive bedroom. Most notable was the massive king size bed and the massive shower. The hotel it’s self is in a great location with parking underneath and just a short walk from most of the places you will want to go. All in all very happy with our stay and would recommend.

Had a very great stay at Pullman Cologne ! The staff is very helpful, the location between the old town and the vibrant city centre is perfect. We loved the bar at the very last floor with that incredible view on the Cathedral. I truly recommend this hotel !

Very impressed with the hotel, great value for money. We had breakfast which was amazing with a great selection, it does get busy though. Yes the items in the Minibar are free (and get replenished daily)! The welnesss/spa area is nice, although the steam room wasn't working.

Unfortunately we had high hopes for this hotel. Being the Pullman brand and having stayed with the Accor group before our group were looking forward to our stay of 6 nights. The hotel is tired and needs some renovation. The pillows in the room were shockingly bad and inconsistent. All different despite all being on the same floor and same room style. In one room they had two floppy square pillows and two block hard memory foam ones. In another two floppy square pillows and two floppy rectangle pillows. We all slept really badly during the stay. We explained at reception that we were suffering neck pain and they sent two more floppy pillows up. They offered no apology for the neck pain. We all ended up swapping pillows to try and sleep better. The hotel is very noisy and not well insulated for noise. Three of our nights we had dogs barking and again in the mornings. A noisy family that kept playing the irritating music box provided in the headboard. Lots of transference between rooms of noise and TV’s. A couple arguing. Additional info on the room. The lights in our room did not work and seemed to be miswired. The light switch in the bathroom turned on a light by one of the beds. The bathroom light was in the hall. One side of the bed the four light switches didn’t work at all. The hairdryer has a short cable so you have to kneel on the floor to dry your hair. There were 5 hangars between us for a 6 night stay. The towels were small and thin. Fine for males but females have to decide if they are covering top or bottom. The bars were never open when they said they would be. On our first two nights they had closed both bars for private functions, with no apologies. The in room guide said Lab12 is open 7 days a week. The sign at the bottom of the elevator said only Thurs - Sat, but they closed it on the Thurs and Friday. We managed to get in on the Saturday, but other guests were told they had to queue and wait, because there isn’t much seating. The downstairs bar had very limited drinks, when choosing from the drinks menu, the barman said no, to three choices and didn’t offer alternatives. The seating throughout was poorly designed. Low to the floor, with accessories like a punch bag to sit on. The cushions like the pillows were old, flat and shabby. The decor mismatched and cold. Senior staff in this hotel are not very friendly. The younger inexperienced staff our great. As are housekeeping. The gentleman on the door is a delight. The location was very good. The showers very strong. The mini bar in the room was appreciated. The food ordered to the room was good. So for us despite some good things, we don’t feel it represented value for money. A shame as we were really looking forward to our trip.

Great location. Just stayed one night. Not easy to sleep because of the heater crazy sounds. And if you stop it, it's pretty cold. I was in the 9th floor and the view was nice.

  • 3/5 Mark W. 4 months ago on Google
Hotel was very central (less than 10 minutes walk to the Cathedral and old town). Rooms were clean and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was extensive with lots of options, but seriously overpriced (you could get a full restaurant evening dinner for the same price). Rooms were too hot to sleep - aircon didn't help and whilst the windows were openable, traffic noise made that an impractical option

  • 5/5 Vitali A. 4 months ago on Google
The room was big, the balcony provided a great view of the city(9th floor). The breakfast was various. But the furniture is a little bit old.

Firstly, given an adjoined room!! NOT acceptable noise levels from other occupants are Never Acceptable, requested a room change immediately. English Breakfast tea: had to replace everyday ourselves from the restaurant! evenso I English tea bag per room Not Adequate for 2 English Guests. Dissapointing only English TV is A News Channel! A Problem occured on our first night in the bar when we were refused a drink unless we paid by cash or card, even though I had placed my card details at reception when booking in. A problem with your IT is NOT a guests problem! Car parking charges for Guests is a little extortionist and could be better priced for Guests!

Stayed here for one night and slept incredibly well. The location is great. What's more exciting, is that all the beverages inside the minibar are free! Won't hesitate to book again if I travel to Köln.

Great stay, very small incoveniences - clear recommendation. Gefallen · For a business trip within the Corona Times i choosed the Pullman Cologne for a 2-night stay. The hotel is in a very central location within cologne. The Hotel offers a garage to park, so entering is quite easy. Very nice and professional service from reception till check out was the absolute highlight. Big Compliment to the staff! The overall design is modern and the interior is overall higherlevel. I got a room in the 9th floor with a nice view to the "Dom". My recommendation is also to use the glass-elevator - always a great ride with a nice view. The rooms are not extremley spacey but functional. Everything is clean, a big shower in the bathroom and the very soft bed were the highlights. Corona related everyone of the standard rules were considered. Clear design of walking and waiting ways, a lot of disinfection dispensers and overall a secure and safe enviroment. Nicht gefallen · Some broken wall appliances (see picture) lowered the overall experience. And as a tea drinker - check the bags and sugar tubes a little more frequent, if they are very crumpled, its likely that a few other guests already touched and wrinkled them. Also artifical sweetner would be a nice addition to the coffee-/tea-offer.

My go to hotel whenever i come to Cologne if there are any rooms available. The Hotel is very comfortable, it has a great bar for evening drinks and a great buffet breakfast in the morning. The rooms are nicely donem very comfortable and very relaxing. There are Taxi's always waiting there, so going around town can be very easy. A Great Hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel for about a week in November Pros: Rooms are really comfortable and feel premium. The hotel also has some interesting amenities (sauna, two bars). The breakfast was excellent. The burgers in the lobby bar are also worth trying. Location is also great; not too close from downtown, but still close enough. Cons: Non-functional ethernet/HDMI plugs in rooms (we were a group of 15+ and nobody had a functional one). Gym is limited.

Really good four star hotel. Our room was a nice size, with a great view of the Dom. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the service and choice at breakfast were excellent. Only downsides were that the room was a little tired in places (the sliding doors on the wardrobe and bathroom have definitely seen better days). We also found the aircon couldn't be turned up on our last night when it had got warmer. Reception said they'd get it checked when we reported on checkout, so hopefully that was just a one-off.

Very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast and the food was your typical German fayre. About a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Cologne. No draught beer but bottled beer is available.

Great stay and super classy! Really wish the cost of parking wasn't insanely costly. We parked on a street nearby for free until 9am the next morning. Beds very comfortable and showers really beautiful.

Was here for a seminar, excellent location, very clean and tidy, and the food was good. I know its the town centre, but the parking in the garage was pretty pricey .. considering that the outgoings are minimal. Otherwise excellent.

Dire. Terrible bar, no evening food service (only bar food), no workstations in public areas, rooms too hot, and in desperate need of refurbishment. And it used to be good!

Hair dryer has problem, it doesn’t work. However the hotel said all have same issue and can’t replace it. They should change the hair dryer.

This is the perfect hotel if 6ou want to visit Cologne at it's center. Minutes walk to a lot of shopping, attractions, bus stops and Underground. Close enough to a lot but very quiet once in your room. Staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. Would recommend for holiday and business.

  • 3/5 Aleksey S. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel has a good location, great view on the city and big rooms and comfortable beds, however the ventilation system is poorly functioning and noise isolation can be better.

  • 5/5 Mehmet Emin . 11 months ago on Google
It is a very good hotel with reasonable price. It is in the city center. Clean rooms, friendly workers, free mini bar, nice and various breakfast. Only one disadvantage is that gym is a little bit small but it is clean and equipment is good.
