You
can
do
it,
you
don't
have
to.
Right
on
a
busy
street
our
room
was
a
twin
room
with
two
beds
apart
for
my
husband
and
I.
Unfortunately,
the
carpet
in
the
room
is
getting
old
and
is
very
unsuitable
for
me
because
I
am
a
severe
allergy
sufferer.
No
air
conditioning
outside
temperature
35
degrees
in
the
room
felt
like
50
degrees.
The
bathroom
is
very
small
and
cramped,
you
can't
use
it
with
two
people,
the
toilet
is
built
right
in
front
of
the
shower,
but
the
shower
is
handicapped
accessible
at
ground
level
but
also
very
narrow,
not
recommended
for
slightly
heavier
people.
Unfortunately,
we
also
booked
breakfast
for
€8.90
per
person,
which
is
way
overpriced,
as
there
was
only
a
small
selection
of
sausage
and
one
type
of
cheese,
only
packaged
jam,
the
coffee
tasted
like
dishwashing
liquid,
although
you
could
get
additional
coffee
specialties
order,
but
the
costs
are
extra.
Scrambled
eggs
were
cold,
the
rolls
were
charred,
then
there
were
pre-packaged
chocolate
rolls
from
a
discounter,
a
mixed
Camenbert
that
had
seen
better
days.
various
types
of
muesli
that
we
didn't
try.
For
a
total
price
of
€73,
we
have
already
stayed
in
much
better
hotels
in
Cologne
with
a
large
breakfast
buffet.
For
us,
this
hotel
is
no
longer
an
option.
Maybe
we
should
think
about
renovating
it.
Worth
mentioning
is
the
extremely
friendly
and
competent
employee
at
the
reception
of
the
hotel
on
the
opposite
side
of
the
street.
