    A nightmare, office at the train station was supposed to be open. Surprise it wasn't. Then you have to be a detective to find the parking where you might get a car but in fact there is another office next to the Hilton... Guess it was too hard to give that information at some point... I finally got it fortunately but thanks for the experience on a Sunday evening

    What a fraud employee working there-be carefull. As we came to pick up the car of course he tried to add me full insurance which we refused since we needed the car not even for 15km. Anyway. I am returning the car ON TIME, full tanked, no new damages, all as it was. And??? Of course I am getting an email that there is a slight surface damage on the glass (as he told me it could be right) and it is caused by me!!! What????? I haven’t even made it to the Autobahn to have this damage. As well, they added that I haven’t tanked the car but luckily I have a picture of it and also my receipt where you can see everything! I swear I would never ever take the car here and this time, since it is not the first time I will go to the court with Sixt! See you there

    Very nice staff and extremely helpful, however absolutely disappointed with hidden fees of Sixt. They charged additional money for refuelling even though I chose the option of refuelling initially. Got charged twice for refuelling. Absolutely not using their services again. Just choose the vehicle you want to rent and don’t add any extras.

    We dropped our rental car back here after a few weeks and found the service to be excellent. One point to note is that you return the car to the lane behind the Hilton and follow the signs to the underground garage. We had the car checked whilst we waited and they were very thorough and found a chip on the mirror from a stone but didn't charge us for this. It's a short walk to the train station over mostly cobblestones so either carry your bag or be prepared for the noise of the wheels.

Ich habe darauf eingewilligt den Stationsort von Leverkusen Köln zu wechseln. Auch wenn die Information sehr spät (4 Stunden vor Abholung) übermittelt wurde hat noch alles geklappt. In Köln angekommen (Die Anreise zur Kölner-Sixt-Stadion ist wirklich sehr schlecht beschrieben. Sie ist mitten im Hauptbahnhof und diese ist in Köln ganz schön groß. Eine kleine Karte "Hier sind wir" in der Bestellbestätigungs E-Mail wäre fantastisch) musste ich feststellen, dass man für die Kaution exakt die gleiche Kreditkarte wie bei der Buchung braucht. Es mag etwas seltsam für einige klingen, aber ich mag BMW-Fahrzeuge überhaupt nicht und bin seit jungen Jahren ein Audi Fan. Nun gut, es fährt, ist ein Cabrio und ich bin schon so weit gekommen. Der Verkäufer hat mir noch eine Vollkasko mit aufs Auge gedrückt, indem er mir noch einmal deutlich gemacht hat wie wichtig diese ist. Ich kam mir vor wie bei einem Verkaufsgespräch eines Versicherungsvertreters aus dem Tam von Mehmet E Göker. Ich weiß, dass alle Geld verdienen müssen, aber diese Art des Vertriebs wieder mich an und um es schnell zu beenden habe ich zugestimmt. Komm es sind ja nur 47€ habe ich mir gedacht. Es wurden unverschämte 31€ für eine Tankauffüllung berechnet, obwohl der Tank in Leverkusen aufgefüllt wurde. Ich habe dem Support direkt geschrieben und warte bis heute auf eine Antwort. Das im Voraus bezahlt Geld über meine Kreditkarte ist immer noch nicht zurück überwiesen. Alles im Allen muss ich sagen, dass mein Ausflug zur Firma Sixt eine wirkliche Zumutung und Katastrophe war. Ich buche regelmäßig bei über Check24 bei Buchbinder und dort ist der Service genial und ich hatte noch nie solche Probleme. Es ist traurig, aber mir scheint es, als würden sich die Firmen bei Direktkunden gar keine Mühe geben. I had to argue with the 2 guys there for an hour. And they finally gave me a car. Worst customer service ever ! I have rented cars multiple times with Sixt, but I think this was the last time !

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! In two months, we tried to rent a car three times. And everytime we book they inform us that there is no car when we are at the office. We are at their office coming all the way and then they are telling us "Oh, I wanted to call you but there is no car at the moment" AND THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR UNJUST TREATMENT They offer no solutions unfortunately! Not renting from here anymore.

It took a while, he called other stations, but Kevin made sure I was somewhat happy before leaving. Mir kam das so "spanisch" vor, daß ich den Service Mitarbeiter von SIXT noch mal explizit auf diesen Schaden hingewiesen habe: Er meinte, dieser Schaden sei ausreichend im Mietvertrag vermerkt (da stand: Schaden Stoßfänger vorne rechts größer als 10cm) und demnach bekannt. Ich habe dennoch Fotos von dem Schaden gemacht, Gott sei Dank mit Datum und Uhrzeit, die SIXT Garage war zudem erkennbar. (Das alles wurde am Ende sehr wichtig!) Wir fuhren dann ohne weitere Vorkommnisse in die Eifel und zurück retournierten den Wagen weit vor Ende der Mietzeit, Sonntags gegen 15 Uhr. Bei der Abgabe wurde der Wagen ohne weiteres abgenommen: Auch hier wußten die Mitarbeiter von dem Vorschaden und machten sogar einen Witz darüber (der Wagen ist sehr unübersichtlich....). Tage später bekam ich dann erstmal eine Nachberechnung, weil man mir nicht den Wochenendtarif sondern einen Tagestarif mit 3 Miettagen angerechnet hatte! Die knapp 150.- € zusätzlich wurden dann erstmal frech abgebucht. UND ich bekam eine recht unverschämt formulierte Mail, ich hätte einen Sachsen verursacht an dem PKW und diesen auch noch verschwiegen! Die Auflösung der falschen Mietzeit hat mich einige Stunden gekostet und diverse nervige Mails, bis das überzahlte Geld erstattet war, die Schadensursache ist bis HEUTE (über 2 Monate später) noch immer nicht vom Tisch. Ich habe x mal den gesamten Vorgang schriftlich wie mündliche schildern müssen, man hat mir selten bis nie geglaubt, mich beschimpft (ich wäre ein Betrüger...), obwohl ich x mal hieb- und stichfest anhand der Fotos nachweisen konnte, daß der Schaden bei Anmietung bestanden hat. Mittlerweile reagiert die Fa. SIXT nicht mehr auf Nachfragen meinerseits, ob und wann die Angelegenheit endlich eingestellt und die Vorwürfe zurück genommen werden: Man versucht das vermutlich jetzt auszusitzen. Da mach ich mir dann mal die letzte Mühe mit SIXT und schreibe diesen Text in der Hoffnung, daß ich ehrliche Menschen davon abhalten kann, bei SIXT ein Auto zu mieten...

    FELLOW ASIANS, RENT YOUR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE! I had a terrible experience at this Sixt location in Sept 2018 specifically with the rep, Slavova. We were scheduled to pick up our rental car at the Sixt location at the train station. When we got there, a sign at the empty counter redirected us to the Sixt location in the Hilton. When we arrived, Slavova was helping a non-German speaking, European customer. She happily offered him a coffee voucher while he waited for the car to be driven to the front of the office. We were her next customers. Her smile disappeared and she tried to upsell us on renting a more expensive car, to which we politely declined. She then literally does a hair-flip like she can't believe we rejected the insurance upsell. Our credit card provided all the coverage we needed. She kept pushing that our card did not offer full coverage --- we researched beforehand and were confident in our decision. Her attitude was unnecessary. Unlike with the other customer, she told us we had to go find our way downstairs to the garage to get the car ourselves. There was no offer to have the car driven up...let alone a coffee voucher. At this point, I'm peeved and ask her why we can't wait upstairs like the other customers. She re-tossed her hair and said it'll take 20 mins...no thank-yous, no vouchers, just racial profiling and a whole lot of attitude. We decide to get the car ourselves since I couldn't stand waiting in the same space as this discriminatory person. We found our way to the garage. Guess what?     I’ve got lower level of the car. Q3 despite X3/Q5 I have booked. But final invoice was at around the same price that I had prepaid for X3/Q5. Why? I believe that Q3 rental cost has to be much lower and SIXT employee in Cologne said me that the cost will be changed in line with car class.
