I am not religious but as a monument it is quite beautiful. I was confirmed at the age of 12 and one day later they asked us at the school on Loreley Str. where I went if we wanted to continue receiving religion classes and I answered NO, they asked me why not I wanted it, and I answered to the priest that whenever I asked him a question he always answered me with a verse from the Bible and of course I knew how to read it myself, but he never gave me an answer to my questions. He tried to change my opinion but the more I tried, the more my rebellion emerged. I think of this Church with nostalgia as something from my past and I also long for the city of COLONY - KÖLN for various reasons. Well, this is just an anecdote.
