really nice iranian place with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. service was quite fast and staff was friendly. ordering was easy despite limited german on my part or english on their part. ordered the kabab kubideh and nargessi with hot tea. all vegan. the servings were hefty and dishes were quite quite. very well seasoned. the kabab had a nice smokiness and subtle spiciness. along with saffron infused rice with crispy bits, it also came with some veg, and tomato gravy. the nargessi came with flat bread. what i ordered could have easily fed two people. they accept cash and card. useful to know when in germany. it's not so often that you'd have a vegan forward menu for an iranian place, so this place is quite special.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker und (für uns) komplett neue Gericht/Essenskombinationen, die wirklich gut geschmeckt haben. Das Restaurant bietet zu einem Großteil vegane Gericht an mit einigen nicht-vegnen Gericht, wobei die veganen Gerichte (inkl.Vor-& Nachspeise) überwiegen. Es gibt einen wirklich schönen Außerbereich, welche zum teil Überdacht ist. Die Preise liegen pro Hauptgericht bei 10-15€ und die Portionen sind sehr groß. Definitiv empfehlenswert, werden selber öfter hier Essen.

Das Essen war unfassbar lecker. Das Fleisch war sehr zart. Wir haben die Platte für zwei Personen genommen und wurden mehr als satt. Den Rest mitzunehmen war gar kein Problem. Absolute Empfehlung :)

The manager welcomed us warmly nearly end of the time although the restaurant was almost full. The staff were friendly and caring and the food was delicious and with a good quality. The interesting fact which makes this restaurant different is the variety of vegan and vegetarian foods. Some Persian food with ingredients including meat have been changed in order to be suited for vegan guests and at the same time keeping the original taste. This Persian restaurant is one of the oldest in Cologne/NRW region.
