(Translated by Google) Outrageously I sat down for a moment because I was dizzy, then a gentleman came and wanted me to leave immediately because they have the house rules. No more humanity! I will not recommend this museum to anyone just because of the way people are treated. You could clearly see that I am a well-groomed person and I just felt bad at the moment!

(Translated by Google) Since the main building at Cologne Cathedral is being renovated, we had to be satisfied with the "economy version" in the Belgian House at Neumarkt. The entrance fee of 6 euros is certainly also adapted to this circumstance. The exhibition has some exhibits on two floors. But of course the "big picture" is missing. If you look closely at everything, you'll be through in about 1 hour.

For the price I would not see this small exhibition again. A plus point is the reduced entry fee, which is only half the price, but didn't count for me. Let's hope for improvement after the conversion of the actual location.

(Translated by Google) Small but fine exhibition in the alternative quarters for the museum, which is closed for renovation. The most beautiful glass works and jewellery, sculptures etc. are present in an adequate ambience.

The temporary site for the museum while it's normal building is being renovated. There's a couple of rooms over two floors, but that means that they have included the highlights. We'll worth a visit. The collection of Roman glass is especially impressive.

Yup I saw the "abridged version". But what was there was an amazing walk through history. I would suggest this on any visit to Cologne. I think that while history may get brushed over as not "fun" I think they did a good job is presenting it in an interesting and informative method. It just whet my appetite for the full museum opening

They have moved into the new place Since the space is limited, lots of collection could not display. What a pity But current collection is already very amazing

(Translated by Google) A small exhibition with very few exhibits, after about an hour we were through with everything. I would have liked to have seen the old exhibition in the original premises, it must have been far more impressive. Nonetheless it was an extremely interesting visit with many beautiful pieces. And due to discounted tickets we also only had to pay 3€ per ticket. At the low price, you really can't complain.

Quite cheap for students which was nice. Very interesting pieces and good for people who are already interested in Roman history. However if you did not have any idea about the topic it might be difficult to totally understand the history.

It is a museum dedicated to the archaeology and history of the Roman and Germanic cultures in the region. The museum has a collection of pre-historical and Roman artifacts, including pottery, jewelry, and sculptures. It takes about an hour to complete a visit to the museum. The adult ticket costs 6 euro, and the museum offers lockers for free. It is recommended for those interested in archaeology and the history of the Roman and Germanic cultures

The Roman glass works of art from the 2nd and 3rd centuries look very modern.

It’s a pity the current exhibit is just an abridged version as the original museum near the cathedral is closed for renovation. Nonetheless, it did an excellent job in presenting the Roman artifacts of the Germania. Do not miss it if you are interested in the Roman Empire. Be cautious that you will be under close surveillance of the staff whose gaze made me so self-conscious.

Unfortunately, the real museum next to the Dom is closed until 2028 (2026 for the Praetorium), so this is just to placate disappointed visitors to Köln. This selection from the collection is small, but nonetheless interesting, particularly the 1st floor with all the glassware.

It was a nice museum and was a good experience to see all the Roman heritage the city holds. Just one thing I can recommend to the museum is that I noticed the translations of the Roman texts were only done for German and not for English, although general descriptions were translated to both. I would love to be able to understand the texts too. But overall, it was a nice experience!

(Translated by Google) Temporary location (I assume) of the Roman Museum next to the cathedral. I guess that's why the collections are not the same.

It was a rather small exhibition which we could cover in less an hour. But it was interesting to see artifacts dated back to Roman times and had a glimpse at the ancient history of the city of Cologne.

(Translated by Google) This museum seems to be moving to the Ludwig Art Museum. When I passed by, I saw that construction was under way and there was a larger collection space, but I didn't know it when I came to visit, and the staff didn't explain it. The ticket was 6 euros, and the collection was very rare after entering. Only a small exhibition space on the first floor and a few exhibits on the upper floor were opened, and it was over in less than an hour, and there was a sense of emptiness.

(Translated by Google) The museum is being renovated, the collection on offer is presented in a charming little building but which only allows you to show a few pieces...Wearing a mask is compulsory as we are in August 2022, the epidemic is at its lowest and the temperatures are very high....Why this measure useless since the distances are also in force. The only museum in the city where you have to wear a mask....Given the circumstances, you can do without this visit ..

Very very rude staff, they make you feel weirdly discriminated. Plus the current exhibition on a different location doesn’t even compare to what it was before. Would recommend to wait 2 years until they finish renovating and hopefully change their personnel.
