I discovered this place while looking for healthy solutions near Colombo city center. We both ordered Tuna Super Bowl and it was quite a good experience. Very fresh ingredients and with a typical sri lanka sauce very tasty. I can only highly recommend this place

Superfood Cafe is a chic restaurant which is the latest addition in the block to the healthy food which serves healthy, photo worthy and instagrammable dishes. This is a cafe which hides in the boutique hotel Villa Raha which is owned by a young couple. Their menu includes English breakfast, eggs benedict, waffle, French toast, bagels and especially Lunch Bowls. Ordered Mango Carotene as drinks and the Prawn Detox Bowl as the main. The Mango Carotene was a slow pressed juice which was a combination of mango, carrot and kale which was really good option to beat up the heat and the flavors were well balanced. They also serve water which is healthy. The have two types of detox water, one with cucumber, lime and celery and the other with beetroot, lime and celery. Tried their small portion of Prawn Detox Bowl which is priced at Rs.890 which is the perfect amount of food and honestly it really fills you up. The large detox bowls are priced at Rs.1190 which can be shared between two. The bowl is filled with colourful and healthy ingredients and it’s one of the latest trends in healthy food. The bowl comes up with around 4 medium sized poached prawns along with fresh avocado, roasted chickpeas,couscous, fresh tomatoes, bell peppers,soy sprouts and a whole lot of fresh herbs. The bowl is served with fried kale and you’ve got chili flakes, Tabasco sauce or Chickpea sauce to choose from in order to mix it with the bowl where I chose chili flakes in order to add a spicy flavor. Actually the prawns were well poached and it gives the perfect crunchiness. The herbs contained adds more freshness and flavor. They’ve also included sauces which uplifted the flavors of the dish. It’s recommended to mix everything together while eating to get the perfect taste of the food. The place itself is gorgeous with velvet chairs, wooden tables, a massive tree trunk, a wooden swing, orchids and trinkets hanging from the glass roof. The ambience is perfect and elegant. This is a perfect spot for an open air breakfast or lunch. The owner who was serving me was very friendly, attentive and the service was very efficient. The most good sign was they gave me recommendations and also served food with a smile which is really important in my point of view. The food and drinks they serve are on point. The atmosphere is charming and it didn’t disappoint me on my first visit. If you’re looking for a post workout meal or working around Bamba you should definitely pay a visit to try their healthy options. Recommended !

This place is great! They have healthy food that actually tastes great!!! The juices are super good! The service is pretty good!

Nice salds, the look beautiful but does not taste of that much. The dressings added are nice and needed. The juices are very good, they keep a lot of the juice pulp which I personally like. The staff is friendly, but they were a bit to much watching over out shoulder when sitting close to the counter. A little to fast to take away the drinks and dishes.

Had their ‘Prawn detox bawl’ more times than I can think of and LOVED it every-time. Could have it everyday, all day. Would definitely recommend the restaurant. Only reason I’m giving a 4-star instead of a 5 is because of not following through with a customer query/complaint.

Don’t know how the review gets, the drink is bland like water and the bowl not sure if the staff gave me all the food…. And he kept the change without asking? The service is …..like what is happening…. Not recommended and surely will not come again, stop advertising on ig, it’s just unauthentic

One of the best places to eat.. must try at least once.. food quality and service is very good.. decent prices.. lot of food collections.. you can create your own bowl as well.. the staff is very helpful in creating your own bowl.. highly recommended..

Nice place to chill, fast service. We had raw vegan salad. Their serving portion is big. There are sockets for your chargers. Vegan, raw vegan and vegetarian friendly! Closes at 10pm.

It’s really delicious and proper healthy food. Staff is friendly and the service is good too. Really enjoyed the food and the place is also neat, calm and clean. Parking is also available for 4 cars. Surely visit again.

Had a great time, the food and presentation was great. If u want a takeaway or take home left overs just remember to bring a container- I was so full i wanted to take home some amazing passionfruit tarts, will definitely get more next time.

This place is phenomenal! Every "health conscience" person's dream! Especially when traveling! They have a "build your own" option, where you can choose from a variety of different add-onsns to tayler it according to your taste. Great quality food! Very friendly staff too! Over here I did my own grilled salmon, with zucchini, shredded kale, mixed lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, mozzarella and toasted sunflower seeds! They have great house speciality sauces too.

Taste is good, presentation is nice. They switched ingredients they don't have with another without telling you, then you have the surprise in the bowl, it just kill the purpose of making my own bowl. What if I was allergic or intolerant to this ingredient? This is just an issue with communication, everything else is ok

The best bowl I had ever. We were having Tuna and Chicken bowls and both were just awesome. Great dining experience, full of flavor and made from the best ingredients food. Must visit place in Sri Lanka.

Who says healthy food is not tasty? I thought so as well till I tried their food. They have customized their items and used spices, herbs, etc carefully to perfectly suit our local taste buds. And also they have done some smart innovations to make you eat certain nutritious food items which you usually don't like to eat. For eg. their chickpea sauce to dip your wrap in. All their sauces, dressings are homemade using healthy ingredients. You can also sign up with them for your everyday meals and get a customized meal based on your requirement. Highly recommended for all you health conscious eaters and the food is literally Super as their name suggests.

Came there for a quick bite. Had a tropical smoothie bowl and espresso. The coffee was good. The smoothie bowl was just average. Some of the toppings were not available.

This place used to be great, but now quality is dropping. My last chicken pesto sauce was expired (I’ve have this bowl several times a month so I know 😅) Less veggies, which is usually substituted with more rice.🥲 My last order took 1.5 hours to deliver😞, could be due delivery agent. Finally repeatedly cancelling my pick me order, but only to find them honouring the same order on Uber 5 minutes later, this I don’t understand 🤷‍♂️

Overall it was a good experience. I had a chicken pesto salad and the chia pudding. It was really good a diet friendly as well.

Options of healthy food around here! I’ve been there in November and what a space I found out: fresh and very tasteful food. I must say it was quite a surprise in Colombo to find it. I added a photo of the smoothie bowl

Loved my bowl, always can make your own bowl and I like to go crazy. My favorite sauce is vinaigrette with toasted sesame seed oil, with mixed salad leaves, mango, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds, bell peppers and medium rare tuna. 🤤🤤🤤

this is regarding E7FBB uber order. Yesterday I ordered my lunch and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. First and foremost, the food was quite underwhelming. I ordered the pesto chicken bowl and chia pudding. butternut squash dry components that made it difficult to enjoy. It's not same as last time it's too salty ,Oily and spicy looks like it's cooked with soo much oil. not same as last time it's not roasted .portion size was also significantly smaller than last time, felt me unsatisfied. Furthermore, The vegetables were limp and lacked freshness, while the protein was tough and chewy. It was evident that attention to detail and quality control were lacking in the preparation of the meal. Do not recommend any more
