One of best city view in the colombo. Little expensive but worth it. I loved the cold beer and prawns snack. Staff was really friendly but little slow. Highly recommend to have cold beer but not recommend to have a decent meal, cuase portion is very small and expensive but i heard that they are using fresh indgridients for menus.

Highly disappointed on the service. There was a group of 6 of us seated inside n went to get some drinks to the bar. When we were returning our bags were put away n some rich (recognized few faces) ladies were seated. Seemed they treat visitors only if they are rich

Entrance - This is on the rooftop of Fairway but you have to use like an outside lift to get there. Aesthetic - Super pretty and super interesting. The outside is the best bit but it does have quite a couple of quite options inside. They have a paper butterfly ceiling. Like fake butterflies hanging from the ceiling, like a hundred or more. They have fairy lights and amazing view outside. Staff - Super friendly, checked up on us a couple of times as well. They even took a picture when we asked them to. Food - The variety is very odd, I'd say. But interesting. The seafood spaghetti was nice and filling but other than that, I also had the roasted chicken portion was a bit too small. And I got the sea bass from the small portion menu, I hated it ;-; and that's the only reason I gave it a 4/5 instead of a full 5/5. Drinks - In spite of the struggle to import liquor in SL right now, they do have a couple of decent options. The cocktails were nice.

The atmosphere is very nice. Decent selection of beverages. However food portions are rather small for the hungry customer. There is indoor seating as well as outdoor. However, indoor is not truly indoor since the bar is open to outside. The AC didn't really work well enough too.

Amazing place! 😍 I enjoyed the night to the maximum. The cocktails are good and if you feel like they are not strong enough for you they will be very generous. The strongest cocktail I have ever had in my life is the vodka- canberry juice cocktail I had here Food taste so good. Especially their beef items. So tender and so juicy. But to be honest I didn't like the prawns much because I think the freshness was gone by the time they started cooking them. But overall quality of food is very very good. And the place! Oh I love it. You can see the metropolitan Colombo with a great view from this place. (Please see the photos.) And it looked so beautiful with all those night lights. I bet this view looks so good when the sun sets too. Perfect for a birthday celebration or a casual night out. The staff is helpful and treated with wide smiles. Really impressed with this place..

OMG!!! What a place! You see the whole Colombo from this spot! But what took my breath was the drink called LOVI! This took me back to my roots! The best drink I have had in a very long time! The food was amazing too! We tried so many, seafood, tandoori chicken, the noodles… And the soufflé is to die for! Fantastic work Dimitri & the team! If I come to Sri Lanka again, this would be a definite spot!

Botanik is a very beautiful space , with great views and stays true to its nature theme in terms of interior. I didn't order any food , but did order a mocktail which was truly very well done ! The host and manager - Mr. Vronsky makes an extra effort to make sure all the guests are enjoying the evening. I was also told that he makes great drinks ! Overall a great experience & I recommend it for sure. 😄

View was nice, but the cocktails were the worst watered down drinks I had in Sri Lanka or anywhere else. On top of that, the bathrooms were dirty and they charge some strange 20+ percent extra taxes/charges. There are many much better places in the area.

This rooftop bar is situated on top of the Fairway Colombo, where I was staying for my last night in Sri Lanka. I popped upstairs for a quick drink, before meeting my tour group for our final dinner. It’s a lovely bar, with a good choice of drinks. I opted for the Espresso Tonic - which was delicious. It’s such a shame I didn’t get the chance to revisit in the evening, as I can imagine this bar really comes to life of an evening. But I’m so glad I got the chance to visit. Highly recommended.

Amazing location, decoration and vibe! The guys were so nice to us, we took the happy hour for the cocktails from 5 to 7 pm and they were sooooo worth it! The manager was so nice to us and let us put reggaeton and latin spanish music on spotify haha loved it!!!

A very disappointing evening in Botanik. The staff had been so helpful prior to the night helping us get a table but once we were there we were moved twice to fit in other patrons and then completely ignored. It was nearly impossible to get service, as the bar tender in our section did not seem to want to take our orders or bring us our drinks. It was very busy but they had plenty of staff working on the floor - maybe not enough bar tenders. The drinks were average at best. I wouldn’t come here again.

A beautiful serene place. The food, drinks, and the ambiance was excellent. The stafr was always very attentive. Overall a great family dinner. If anyone is looking to have a night to remember in the city Botanik should be the place to go

When we arrived the atmosphere was really nice and relaxing for a Friday night. The food had really delicious flavour but the portions were way too small for the price, we had dined at other 'fine dining' restaurants in Colombo and although paid slightly more we left really full. In saying that once we received the bill we ended up paying 2000+ plus in taxes which we have never experienced before and left a really bitter taste in our mouth. Attached is a photo of a main which had 6 tiny tortellinis on it and barely filled my partner up. Shame as we were really excited but at the end wished we went back to the previous restaurant. Would only reccommend if willing to pay a large amount of money for something relatively average.

I visited Botanik on a recent trip to Sri Lanka. Firstly I must say I have been to Sri Lanka before bit have never come across this restaurant. It is a bit out of the way, but the trip there is an absolute must in my books. A unique rooftop restaurant and bar, with an absolutely gorgeous view of the city. Sunset drinks are a must. The cocktails are as good as I had anywhere else in the world. Was quite surprised but learnt they have been listed on Asia's best bars. That's not all though the food, omg the food. Where do I begin?! I was afraid at first to see some of the dishes that were on the menu. As a travelling Asian I have eaten a lot. I have been let down when the chef's go out of the norms to give something different. These guys nailed it, and to learn, it's all locally sourced, added bonus. All in all, 7 stars, but sadly, I can only give 5. Don't forget to chat with the team they are quite knowledgeable and are always willing to help.

Our children took me and my wife for a treat. As we entered I realized this is a place that things do happen. Excellent service, hospitality and food from Jaffna Food Festival of the day. When it comes to fine dining I’ve had many food adventures of my own. But one thing exactly enjoyed is non other than “Botanik” which made me believe it’s almost heaven. I would say this place was more than expectations. 👌🙂

Very cozy and relaxing environment, good view if you can get the right table. Staffs were very friendly, bartenders does their best to serve you the best. Was there on a Thursday ladies night, not much crowded. Food was great and delicious. Little bit on the pricy side. Over all one of the best place to enjoy night.

But portion way to small for the price you pay Also there are some extra taxes, like service charges, VAT and another one you and up with unpleasant surprise in the end Just go for drinks! Eat before or after :) If you still choose to eat, ask before if it's spicy 🔥;)

Lovely spot. Service was good but the food didnt amaze us as we wished it would. With only a few mains options we thought they'd be well worth the amount we paid for, but it was slightly disappointing. The drinks however much better than the food & they were reasonably priced. Overall we had a good time but perhaps they could master their menu.

Great place to hangout in Colombo

Has a decent view of the Colombo skyline. The cocktails are sad. They are very watered down. It would be advisable for the management to get on board experienced bar men who can create good cocktails instead of the juniors who are manning the bars. The food servings are relatively small when compared to the price charged. They have a live band, which is at times a case of hit or miss, but overall OK.

Cocktail is okay. Nice location. No transparent prices, bill will be a surprise. They charge very high service charge and tax surcharge that is not mentioned anywhere in the bill or menu. They only had two cocktails and beers in offer from all the menu 🙄

Big scammers..! Long Island iced tea was just two liquor mixed nothing else then I ordere Smirnoff 25ml X 2 that to I got just 30ml with ice cubes, abroad people please avoid this place ..! It happen 12:34 am on 11th June 2023 ..! I’m writing this after their LIIT and 2 x smirnoff.!! 😂😂😂

Beautiful location. They have a really good executive lunch menu which is absolute value for money. Food is excellent. Gorgeous rooftop bar + restaurant. Tis a top spot for evening drinks and maybe even some dancing. :)

Cashier staff only accepts cash when O would like to pay by my credit credit. First he said my card is rejected but once I change a new card he still said the same but my mobile banking has shown a transaction is successfully. Once I showed him a successfully transaction, he made some excuse as a EDC machine get problems. then he voided my card transaction. I cant imagine if my mobile banking doesn’t show a transaction that means I have to pay twice, don’t I?

Well, ambience is good. Sure a place if you focus on drinks only!!! We were disappointed as, whatever we asked, they didn't have it. Music was tooo loud to hold a conversation Food, was okay.

This amazing bar is located at the rooftop of the Fairway Hotel. This is a well maintained place with decent crowd. Good for hangouts at their indoor and outdoor upscale atmosphere with deep house music. Their highly decorated and detailed interior decor and dim lighting at the night makes the place more romantic to have a kind of a date night here. Also they attract mostly the young crowd.

It is located in a beautiful place. Love the view. It is very spacious compared to most roof tops I've been to. Lots of room for improvement in customer service and the food is overpriced. But this is my view and it's always for your to explore and experience. I wish the menu is printed in big letters.

Way over priced drinks I had a long Island for 2000 bucks and it tastes so so mediocre. I can make better drinks at home.
