Good interior and value for money happy hour. I have been wanting to go here for some time and yday was the day. Ordered French fries nachos, the fries were soggy. Sent back and got fresh fries. Cheese toast, fried pork, Calamari all arrived at room temperature which was set at 16 degrees. Service was pretty poor, the bar tenders and waiters were all in little pod chatting most of the time. Prices are on the lower end for that specific suburb. This place is close to park street mews. Later in the evening one of the management members was present at the bar. This was a game changer. Cheese toasts were crispy, gooey and warm. Ice was refilled, beers were flowing. The team that manages this place is no stranger to hospitality. They need some good service mindset staff and this will be a winner.

We had a great time!!! All the food items were amazingly delicious!!! One of the best pizzas I ever had!! It was a flavor bomb!! Meat sandwich also amazing!!! French fries were well seasoned and perfectly fried!! Overall the service was amazing!! Good atmosphere for a hangout and also it is a family friendly place. They don't allow smoking inside!! That's a huge plus point from me!! They have a nice green vibe outdoor area where you can smoke if you wish!!! We don't smoke but this was just for someone's reference!! 👊☺️

A nice Irish sports bar with an extensive menu of good food. The steak & kidney pie was large, well seasoned and worthy of a UK gastro pub.

Fabulous place. Good food amazing atmosphere and friendly service. Most of the time there will be a live bamd performaing. (Great music and love the entertainment of "Miracle" band) One constructive criticism, is that they were way too loud from the start. Its was not the mistake of the band, but the sound operators should remember this is not a beach show that its a restaurant so people need to talk to eachother.

Great place to hang out with office colleagues, friends or the partner. Specially rooftop is superb for drinking parties. Staff is super supportive and they have great cocktails.

The Irish is an exclusive new addition to Colombo's watering hole scene. What they serve up here isn't exactly traditional Irish fare, but they've got some good cocktails along with a bunch of excellent western dishes. We quite enjoyed our experience here.

I had a good Friday night here with my friends. Food was generally good although I found the Shepherds pie to be little too cheesy and the Strawberry mocktail too sweet. The band started playing around 8.30pm and then it was difficult to talk to each other. Great place to enjoy the music and have a good time with friends.

Food was amazing! Specially the honey beer pork chop. It was mentioned as special on the day we visited and oh my! Additionally we ordered a beef stew which was exceptional and jacket potato with cheese and bacon. We were so full at the end. But, just ordered one crème brûlée as desert. It was great too. It was creamy and not too sweet which made the burned caramel topping blend with it nicely. The service was very good and professional. However at the beginning we thought the place was too dark. Yet it was okay when our eyes adjusted the darkness. Parking was available on the place itself. There are about 6-8 parking slots available.

Want to experience a pub with real Irish atmosphere? then you must go to Irish Bar & Grill. The happy is from 5pm to 7pm with Buy-One-Get-One free drinks, every day of the week. Food is great here. You have different dishes from fish n chips to Cheese toast to Pizzas, Burgers and many more, (really wish they had steak also). Anyways, worth for the price. Really friendly atmosphere starting from the bouncer to the bartender and servers. They have two restaurants, prefer live music? You can dine in or nurse a beer at the bar which is on the ground floor and if you're into DJ's you can go to the 2nd floor, also called the "Red Dwarf". All in all, one of the great pubs around Colombo. Personally this is my go-to place. Highly recommended.

Tried the beef burger and the chicken quesadilla and they were excellent and very filling. Liked the ambience as well.

Menu prices are very much high compared to other bars. Food is not worth for the price. Attenders seems like wolf in sheep's clothing. They also seems like stoned and having weird smile on their faces. Music and Light are set in a trippy mode for pot smokers. I won't recommend anyone for this place. They should reduce their prices.

An unsung hero. Randomly stumbled upon this place which has pretty neat happy hour offers. Plenty of seating and the service was very fast even though it was a busy. The calamari and the fries were splendid and the prices aren’t bad either. Outdoor seating is also available but inside would be more comfortable depending on the weather. Limited parking but would be able to figure something out as there’s a lane next to it.

This is a newly started bar and grill in Colombo. They have an happy hour from 5 to 7. You have a buy one get one free during this time on selected beverages. It is highly recommended to go during this time if you want your drinks to be on a reasonable price. They have a decent food menu too. The food is nice and specially their main dishes are reasonably priced. But the appetizers are overpriced. We tried the Irish Coffee and it was awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the place is well designed.

Excellent vibe & Typical Irish Bar Ambiance ... I liked the Irish history pieces all around and the wood finishes with Barrel Tables. Kinda like In on the Green a little. They serve imported beers and also alcohol. Prices are bit ex relatively when it comes to a bar. But it was worth it because they do have Live Band Music some days towarsds the weekend. I visited with a few of my friends when Coldsweat wa playing and the crowd was feeling it and rocking away the night. They do have another level (floor) with private like areas to dine / chill. There is an outdoor smoking friendly area too. The service was pleasant with friendly staff.

Well nothing Irish here. Not even music. They play Sri Lankan music. And nothing is to do Ireland. There used to be much better Irish Bar in Colombo. But that's closed some years back. This place will not visit again. Not good. Didn't eat here so cannot say nothing about foods.

They have a good selection of happy hour options, especially on cocktails. My favorite is the strawberry daiquiri, followed by the arrack sour. They're worth the price. The food is on the slightly expensive side, but it tastes great. It would be nice if they offered some happy hour items at a decent price. Overall, the staff is friendly and the ambiance is great. There are limited parking slots available, but you can always find parking on the roadside.

Like cation is great with parking. The interior is dim lit with a very chic aesthetic. Basic pop music and sports on the screens. Three tiered building with a saloon on the 2nd and a private outdoor space called Red Dwarf on the 3rd. Staff is decent, friendly. Food is amazing, delicious with insane portions that's worth the cost. So be wary of the portions cus we couldn't finish our meals. I got the spicy chicken wings, pork chop, lamb ribs, beef burger and creme brulee. Had to get take out for the ribs cus us 3 couldn't even begin to finish it. I'd say 4k pp

Tried their fried shrimps and sausages with beers. The sausages were a highlight – fantastic taste! The atmosphere was calm and pleasant, making it a great experience. Highly recommend for a casual outing.

Located at the start of the park road at Union Place. A cosy joint to chill and hang around after work with your better half or with your office colleagues. They have a happy hour from 6pm -7pm, Food is great and reasonably priced. Service and ambience is very good. Also there is an outdoor seating area and also ample parking available.

Went for the Food... Which wasnt that Great :( Roast Beef Sandwich needs work...Not good at all..... Beef Burger Was ok... bt could be way better for the price. Fries/Wedges are decent.... Roast Chicken Salad was good.... Fish and Chips Tapas was good... but the chips were missing. Best part about the place is the Place/Setting... very nicely done... and more ideal for a drink... we went early... and mainly for the food... so i guess we need to come back later for the booze... which i am guessing will be way better. I feel.the food needs to improve. Sevice was good too.

Ambience is nice, service is pretty good, ane the foot itself tastes quite nice, but the menu has things like nachos, schnitzel, baked crab, and many more which aren't exactly Irish dishes, and it's quite hard to see in the restaurant as all the lights are very dim, and no candles or lights are offered at the tables.

Their Bloody Mary has a Sri Lanka twist (the bartender added some curry powder to the concoction), which is a good cure for a hangover. We enjoyed their sliders and buffalo wings as a snack.

Excellent food! I've been her twice in the past week and the steak and kidney pie is one of the best I've had in Colombo. They have a lovely outdoor set up on the roof which is a good place for an evening drink and watch the sun go down

Real European Pub The first thing that came into my mind when I walked in was thet european ambience . Beautifully decorated and placed in european style . Ahs a bar as well as tables. The menu is great with a variety of dishes. We had the mix grill, pork ribs and lamb. Everything was delicious . Portions were large. Desserts were nice too. No regrets coming in here. Very friendly staff. We were served by Supem, he was very friendly and efficient helped us to choose our dishes too. The pricing has value for money . Bit this is mid high range. Average per person cost 5,000/= - 6,000/= with drinks Great location close by to main road. But limited parking

Quite a nice place to hang around with your friends. Went there on a Tuesday evening during their happy hour time - buy one get one free. Seems they have changed the Happy hour offer from drinks to some selected meals. During happy hours they offer 50% off for some selected drinks. Ordered a fried wedges and to my surprise the portion was quite huge and delicious. I haven’t seen a portion that big in any other bars in Colombo yet. After the wedges I ordered a chicken pie, don’t remember the exact name, which was really delicious. Quite happy with the quick service.

We found the Irish Bar & Grill via Airbnb. Nice accommodation, with friendly staff led by the helpful Dana (owner) excellent pub grub, good selection of drinks and a lovely bar. 2 minutes walk to the famous Viharamahadevi Park and 15 minutes to Maradana Railway Station.

Cocktails here were horrible. The Long Island Iced teas (just Coca-Cola) and Mojitos (just lime juice) we had were completely disappointing. However the food is quite good.
