The restaurant is by the beach and the view is superb but not much a decent place. Food is ok. The good thing is they are open till early in the morning. Prices are not cheap but the portion size is considerably worth the price.

Came here to have some good seafood. Unfortunately the food was cooked with old oil and gave a very bad smell and taste. We order got butter cuttlefish and a beef fry I couldn’t even bring it close to my mouth. This restaurant is nice but in the evening it’s not a safe place to be(for girls) I generally don’t like to go there bcus it feels very doggy. My opinion 🙃 There is a lot of privacy I can tell you that. Be careful of your belongings. My hand bag almost got snatched. In general i like the place during the day not at night.

Great location and the foods are awesome. I was in little but doubt about food taste before going there. Because of some reviews on google. I tried hot butter prawns and seafood rice. honestly taste is good and fair prices with friendly staff. Recommend for your joyful evening!!

This place is located nearby the beach. The place is breathtaking and can have a superb seafood experience. There is a variety of seafood items here you can select. The service is good as well the food is also delicious 😋. The seafood experience I got from here is the best and recommended for anyone who likes seafood. You can have your meal with the beautiful view of the Indian ocean.

The best thing about this place is it's atmosphere. A table under some beach trees and overlooking the Indian ocean. It's just a unique experience which you get only here. The menu created for foreigners is excellent although expensive. Grilled tiger prawns with their garlic butter dip is mouth watering. Their service is great too !

The food was very tasty and worth the price .. we had lobster Thermidor and grilled prawns . We went at night and a week day so it was not very busy . Something to consider is putting extra lights . The waiter was friendly and helpful. We plan to come back during the day .

Ordered all the things by looking their menu with prices, But in final bill they added more charges into same food.Then I asked one of staff member about that, his answer is 'That is the price'. Food was absolutely terrible, we ordered hot butter cuttlefish which was around 1800Rs and had no salt at all and was fried using some weird tasting oil. Beautiful place facing the sea, foods are average, parking at outside of premises, naturally formed beach plants and sits under the trees. Customer service is average, heads-up ! some evenings we encounter troublesome people, yet we enjoy the evening, no limits with timings, total experience 4/10

Food was delicious and not too expensive. The place was clean and had a nice view of the sea. Staff members were helpful and friendly. They allowed us to decorate the place for a party. There were cute puppies and kittens but the crows were kind of annoying. We experienced some disturbance from some drunks at the beach.

We loved our visit to buba beach and loved the ambiance from the moment we stepped in. The service was outstanding and we couldn't wait to be seated. We ordered the (first dish) which was to die for. Next was the (second dish) which was spectacular, and we would definitely order it again! The (third dish) was also a medley of flavors and at the end of the meal we were so full and very happy. We would surely come back for more food soon and a huge thanks to all the staff!

They do not write our order. After that expensive dishes inserting to the order.Then he says forgot. Please check the bill carefully before do the payment. They are adding fake items into the bill. Im not recommending this restaurant for your valuble money...

Relaxing place by the beach. The corkage fee is reasonable too.. but i think the food is bad. We ordered a chicken dish and this chicken was not cooked properly it felt raw. Also it had a lot of bones. I think they should consider using boneless meat when it comes for food dishes, because i had to spit every bite i took!

The ambience is quite nice until sunset. Felt uncomfortable thereafter. Whole place becomes dark and full of mosquitoes as soon as the sun set. Service is very poor so was difficult to flag down anyone. Shame as restaurant is on a lovely stretch of beach which has now reduced in width for various reasons. I don't intend to go again

Worst food ever had.

Our weekend hangout place for years now. Relaxing and less crowded place. Has plenty of tables everywhere so you would not be left without a table. Their food is really tasty and they maintain that taste all the time. Their liquor is expensive just like all other resturants so it is recommended that you bring liqor from outside and they will just charge a cockage fee of 500 LKR. They have all kinds of dishes from Chicken to Sea Food. I personally love their sea food fried rice, pepper chicken and cuttle fish. Cashew and Chips is also a must try. Raja is the head of waiters and the best server I have seen in restaurants. He is so friendly and helpful. He is there every evening so you would not fail to spot him any day.

Dangerous entrance area because of the railroad tracks so be careful. Nice place to have some drinks and enjoy some spicy bites. Great view at sunset and nice beach area directly in front.

Situated across the rail tracks and on the beach, Buba Beach is a lovely place to go amongst the trees and shoulder to the sea for a relaxed meal. Whilst items can be a tad pricey, the food is very good and the service complemented it.

Place is quite nice. It's better in the evenings with the sunset. Try to get the upper deck. It has a nice view of the ocean. Good place to chill with friends. Mostly the crowd is alright. The food is subpar considering the amount charged. Stick to the basic meat and seafood options.

Vegetable fried rice and hot butter mushrooms are delicious. The deviled chicken tasted good, but there were lots of bones. I do not recommend buying a vegetable chop suey dish because the taste is not good. The staff is not wearing suitable attire for the restaurant. There were five cats and one dog around the table during eating timeand it's very disturbing for us to not have food. The place is very clean and beautiful, and the view of the beach from the stairs is very beautiful. I would recommend this place for lunch, not for dinner, because the place seems less secure for ladies.

Overall service is good and the food really good. Try to book a place on the upper deck so you can have a good view of the beach. If you book a table on the lower deck make sure that you don’t wear any shoes because of the sand. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

They have a big car park, you have to walk across the railway to get to this place. This is built in an eco-friendly manner, making use of trees and bushes around. Great sea view, place is nice and relaxing. No restrictions to bring beverages from outside, no restrictions to music( with that case, the people who are sensitive to sound, may find it difficult on somedays). As this has no restrictions for adults to drink and party, the people who are not happy with these kind of environment may find it difficult. People from all social classes enjoy this place.

I've attended numerous farewell parties there 🎉. The food isn't pricey, yet it boasts excellent quality. Highlights include fried rice, pork deveal, chicken 🍗 deveal, calamari, deep-fried mushrooms 🍄, and a delightful vegetable 🥗 salad. While fresh juice isn't on the menu, they offer Coke and Sprite. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the venue provides access to the beach. Just be cautious when crossing the railway track, as parking is on the other side.

Vibe is nice but the staff should be improved in servicing guests. Locals aren't coming to enjoy the vibe not to listen to their craps.

I went for a party on 2023 11/21. There were more than 30 peoples for that party and there were enough space to accommodate all participants comfortably. Food are delicious. Deviled chicken, batter coated fried chicken (name of this dish is not known by me), fried cuttle fish, pepper beef(very delicious), fried garlic, salad and egg rice were the ordered dishes. All were good in appearance as well as smell. Taste of all the food were superb. Only the issue was mosquitoes.
