Service is very slow. When we ordered something ,every-time we had to wait around 30-45 mins. Another day review... Decided to edit this review on second time. Worst service experienced today. They have promoted the service as 50% discount on dine-in. The moment we call over the phone them to reservation, they have said that all tables are reserved and unable to give reservation.but when we went to the place they have offered us a table. Funny story was not much crowded until we went out. Only Couple of tables occupied. Finally we had ordered 6 lime juice and it was the worst and most expensive lime juice ever had. Executive lunch was tasty. Worth the price. Good service. Decent place to dine if you are in or around Colombo Fort. Went for Dinner on 28/12/22. It took more than one hour for them to serve the order. Food taste was average. It is very sad to see the service levels and quality of food is declining, at sea food restaurant -where we use to have lots of fond memories. Still I will go there for lunch.

Me and my husband visited this restaurant on 15.03. The restaurant is extremely attractive not only because of delicious food, but also owing to the size of portions - it is large! The service deserves the best mark, the staff is responsive and kind! It is the best restaurant my husband and I have visited in Sri-lanka! One of the few places where the staff knows what service is.

A good place to hang out with friends or family. Located behind a railway station, so be aware of the noise if you're considering to sit outside. Their food were delicious and recommended their roos paan with the mutton curry. Also, the pol roti with mutton and dhal curry would be an ideal choice. Their service is also good and nothing to complain about. If you're visiting, it is better to make a reservation. They accept the card payments. Prices are a bit expensive. Ample parking is there, so there is no need to worry about it.

I visited this restaurant after long time.i heard this is now under new management.let me share my experience,i would say to have quality sea food,with reasonable price at the moment sea fish restaurant is the best in colombo.

We have tried thier roasted bread with prawns Curry, crab curry, mutton curry and dhal curry. All the Curries was cooked well. Available for lunch as well. Service was good. It has started in 1969. So they are preserving the same ambience. Can't judge the quality by look of it. Specially the look from outside. You can take a drink as well. Liquor can be bought from the restaurant and can take bottles from outside as well.

This is one of the oldest seafood restaurants in Colombo. Its popularity is still there it seems. Although its ambiance is mediocre quality of food is quite good. Their signature dishes of seafood platters have got the wow! factor.

I had great expectations when I visited this restaurant after seeing reviews from other people. However, this restaurant did not live up to expectations. Felt like a mediocre restaurant with cheap stuff on the menu and no ambiance at all.

This is one of the worst seafood restaurants I've ever had the misfortune to visit. Correction: worst restaurants ever. I ordered an expensive dish of curried crab. There were skeletal remains of tiny crabs with absolutely no flesh at all. The taste was also dodgy and I'm hoping that tomorrow I won't end up with gastro. A good lesson is that if you only see a smattering of patrons on which is a busy Saturday night it portends no good. Visit at your peril. Jerome

Good place for a relaxing drink with your friends or colleagues. Bites and food was good & tasety, the place is air conditioned, they have 4 parking spots, the service by stewards is good, they have indoor or outdoor tables. Its in between the Regal cinema hall and the train station of President's Secretary office. Washrooms are clean. They had 7 tables inside.

The roast pan and mutton curry at this place are an absolute must-try! The food is incredibly delicious, and it's a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink with your friends.

I have come here in 1982 and after 38 years things have changed. However the food is good and the staff is very accommodating. Best to reserve a seat in advance. The order takes about if time to arrive. Their in-house bread and curries are very tasty together with their garlic butter sauce and herb infused butter. I only wished that the decor that was there in the early 80s was revitalised. They used to have timber chairs and tables and people used to also eat on the street just outside the entrance with a table chair arrangement. Now the interior is very insipid and clinical. 1 Star less only for the interior. A recommended place for tasty dishes and good seafood.

This was my first meal in Sri Lanka, which means I have little to compare with and will thus give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt (i.e. 4 instead of 3 stars). The complimentary entrée provided was tasty, and the service quick, though our request to turn down the ACs nearest to our table was met only after repeated attempts. We were the only customers in this part of the restaurant and it was near-closing time, so there is no good reason why we should have continued to freeze for as long as we did. My grilled prawn platter was well put together and appropriately-sized, but the prawns themselves were simply too dry to pass muster in a sea food restaurant in this price category.
