Ordered lunch and dinner from Nawala branch.highly dissapointed for the price paid. Had a fly in the chicken dish that cost a 1000 Rs. Called and made a complaint. No one from Management responded. Do not recommend.

Great ambiance but not the best customer service. Went there for lunch one time and food is okay but not great. Then went in evening for grab a bite have dinner in rooftop restaurant and they refused to serve dinner since we are not taking liquor.

Pleasant atmosphere and efficient customer service. They maintain a good standard throughout all of their restaurants and the quality of food is great. They also serves a range of Japanese foods which are absolutely delicious and authentic. Ideal place for a casual meal.

Worst food ever. The deviled chicken basically was all bones and cartilage no meat. The rice was dry too, definitely not fresh. We gave the benefit of doubt and ordered a second time and same thing. I asked for egg this time but they still gave me chicken which was again all bone….For the price I really expected much better quality and customer service. The food was so gross both times that I just couldn’t bring myself to eat it. I guess I would if I was starving for three days, otherwise better left to the stray dogs.

Love the food but I did no like the customer service. I felt like they were a bit lazy in their job. But their food was amazing. Loved everything. I had Salmon sashimi and I felt they did a wonderful job. The Japanese beef burger was really good. Great food and please try.

Very bad service. Restaurant (dine in) is closed and therefore accommodate the pub for family dine in. People smoking and bad smell. So can't dine in with kids. I was waiting more than one hour for order. I was order mixed rice but they not provide at least chilly paste or sauce. (As per menu card, rice with chilly paste and omelette) staff service also not good. They got more than 1 hour for order and food also not hot. Not recommended.

A roof top Pub for smart gents. If you like to visit Ace Pub, you need to wear smart casual and not wear any slippers also. Friendly staff. 10% service charge. Need to increase bar items and some potions small but price high. However we order 3 bites and we had enough only 2. Need to increase serve time. But good place for less money.

I always enjoy the Special Bentho at the Naniori Japanese restaurent, got some Sushi and other japanese food for dinner since it was a lock down so couldn't dine in that day, but the food made my day, enjoyed it as always.

I went there to grab a bite with my friends. Place is spacious with good ambiance. Ideal for a family outing as well. Parking space is kind of small. Talking about the food, we ordered Sea food fried rice, Red curry duck, and pineapple mixed chicken. Fried rice was way below average. We hardly found a prawn lying here and there and that's the only sea item they have in their so called seafood. The only consolation we had was the portion size, the large one was adequate for 3 people. About red curry duck it was good but I felt it is a bit overpriced. Chicken was average as well. Their portion side is quite good so can give a plus point for that. Waiting time is also high, we waited for around 45 mins to get these and we were the only customers there at that time, so can't say that they got busy. Staff is polite but they are way slow. There is a 10% service charge and additional 20% government tax, so not a place for a budget visit. Will go again? Hell no ✌️

Their Japanese food is a disaster and NOT at all authentic Japanese food. Their Bento box - I ordered the KaniKorokke Bento and it is supposed to come with crab cutlets - they had put some cheap Krest cutlet which is probably fish or veg and charged over Rs 2000 for it. They have given a blo of tomato sauce, a lump of rice, some green salad, some chopped veg NOT pickled veg....this is NOT Japanese if you have actually tried authethic Japanese food. What fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. DO NOT order their Japanese food - NO quality and NOT worth the price. There are proper authentic Japanese restaurants to try!

Always our go to restaurant near nawala / Nugegoda area. Food is always tasty and the portions are more than enough. The chili paste is probably the best we have tasted in SL so far. Not to mention its very valuable for the potion you get. They are currently serving at Naniyori, the Japanese restaurant and its really nice, very beautiful ambience. Only caveat is they took time to serve the food (on a Sunday afternoon that). Hope to visit again soon.

It is a good place where you can have a quality time with good food. Prices are quite reasonable. Place is quite except for the busy weekends. You can have different varieties of food ranging from chinese, japanese, thai and mongolian. Parking is the issue here since they have a small parking at the premises and it is risky to park along the road.

My first favorite place is the steam boat mount for years and from now it’s gonna be the nawala one. Food is soooo good and my favorite is their Chopsue rice and now I’m gonna love the entire Japanese menu from the nawala outlet. Also from the one who served us, chef to the security, were so helpful and pleasant. Would definitely visit every month to try all the Japanese dishes. And also the other most important fact about steam boat is that how peaceful their restaurants are. I always craved visiting mount one as it’s in the beach and now im starting to love peace and the Japanese vibe they have in the nawala restaurant. Definitely do recommend for everyone ♥️

Nice place to have get togethers since there is a private area. Food is tasty specially seafood nasigorang and hot butter cuttlefish. But the prices are very high compared to same quality restaurants in Colombo. Service is a bit slow, but not that bad. Staff is friendly. Parking is available for 3-4 vehicles in front of the restaurant and free street parking is available. But it’s somewhat difficult to find street parking when the road is crowded.

Not much parking space. And the huge tree blocks one space but adds a cool shade on a sunny day. Just writing on take away since I haven't tried the dine-in option yet. Food is quite nice. Their sweet and sour prawns were very good. The other dishes would have been better off with less pieces of onions. The guys taking orders over the phone (who are also the same guys at the take away station) are very polite and take orders quite accurately. It doesn't take too much time to get the food. Generous portions. Could improve with the packaging. All in all not bad at all.

We wanted to have lunch here and went around 2.20 pm on Friday. There were hardly any customers. The waiter was quite inattentive and when we asked to place the order, he asked us to eat within half an hour because they close at 3pm. Goes without saying that we left the place immediately 😅 So please remember to go at least around 2pm if you want to have lunch there because closing the restaurant is more important for the staff than having actual business. Btw, the place was smelling as if someone has removed his/her sweaty socks. Maybe it's the cloth they use to wipe the tables. This will be our first and last visit to the restaurant on the second floor.

We've been getting naniyori and steam boat take out for over 8 years now and the quality is absolutely missing now. Moreover they reduced per potion amounts recently, and wanted us to believe that thats how its always been. Would've appreciated some honesty from the place we've been patronaging for almost a decade. Really disappointed. Doubt we'll think about eating here for a while. Service staff are really nice though so keep it up
