Awesome experience! The food is incredible. The service is outstanding. The interior is so green, beautiful and homely. One of the best places in Colombo for gourmet dining. Yes it's a bit expensive but it's well worth your money. I would definitely visit again.

i went to this place accidentally. so i went inside and ordered some food and a beverage.. when you first see the plate you mouth starts watering because of the great presentation..when you start eating your mouth fills with variety of flavors.i suggest that if you visit Colombo you have to go to this place.thank you.

This place is no longer there. It was closed sometime back. The Sri Lankan franchise of London based Tony & Guys Hair Dressing will be opened on this premises from 1st December.

Was expecting more. Went there for lunch and we were the only two. Service was fine but nothing great. The menu does not have a wide selection, which is fine, but not great then when 3 of the dishes we wanted to order (barramundi, pasta, and the pears & Italian Parma ham salad) were not available. They could have told us when we got the menus rather than when we wanted to order. We were told that there were many guests the previous evening and that new supplies had not arrived yet. However when we asked further, we were told that it was a normal busy evening..so why do they not restock before lunch? The food was good but nothing to rave about. The only consolation was the 25% lunch discount. Unlikely to come back again.

Good location and atmosphere, very nice taste for the foods especially the U12 Prawn. Should serve wine or beer for someone like us who dont want to bring the wine on our own. But not big problem, i will bring my beers if i come again.

Restaurant ambiance is very good. It seems to be a house converted to a restaurant. The menu has a great variaty though not exhaustive. We were told the finest and hand picked ingredients are used and I am inclined to believe it. The best thing about this place is the food. All dishes are made with the greatest care and the presentation is excellent. But the taste... is exquisite. Close your eyes and feel the taste of each bite. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend it. The money spent is well worth what you get.

Had dinner with three of my friends at Epicure and it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance was great for a nice dine out with friends and would be perfect for a romantic dining experience as well. The owner was highly professional and friendly and the staff was exceptional. The service was quick and the staff seemed to be well trained for their jobs. When it comes to the most important part ; the food.... it did not meet the expectations (I should say I am a tough critique with high expectations when it comes to food) . I had the Grilled Squid which was served as one whole big squid which could have presented more eloquently. The squid was slightly burnt and too salty. Even the pasta served as a side was not the best complementing texture and taste with the squid. Overall the dish was not a fine dining quality. My best friend had the Barramundi with Bok Choy and he was not pleased with the dish as it was a little bland and almost felt as if it was a soup with a piece of fish. Again not too fine dining quality dish. My other two friends had the Duck and they loved it ! Presentation wise it needed more work but according to them it was well cooked. The deserts were also ok but there's much room for improvement. As a constructive criticism I would say the chef should look more into the presentation of the dishes to match the expectations of a fine dining quality dishes. Also be more careful of the preparation and execution of each dish as the intended quality and taste may not conveyed to the customer at all times.. We were surprised by the prices of all the dishes as all of them were very very fairly priced. I hope the management will continue to thrive in improving the quality of the dishes to match the beautiful place and the amazing staff . Sri Lanka needs good fine dining restaurants and I hope Epicure will eventually reach upto the expected fine dining standards very soon !

Awesome experience! The service was very very well and the food is spectacular. Yes it is expensive but you get what you pay. They don’t serve alcohol but it helps that they don’t charge corkage fee. I would definitely come back again.

Got the duck and the meat was succulent and well cooked. The sauce complimented the entire dish. It's a must have! Epicure is also BYOB!

Well the food was look warm and only two average size pieces of chicken and to top it all , just starting to cut the chicken when a huge cockroach wAlked right round my plate and on to the table then it appeared at my wife side, one would have thought that they would give the desert free or something else nothing was offered just sorry Sir will not rush back

Tried to go here for Monday lunch and they were closed! Best call before you go.

Easily one of the best fine fusion dining restaurants in Sri Lanka. Friendly, attentive and unpretentious staff, outstanding food and the option to bring your own wine is welcome.

I had the lobster tacos as an appetizer, which were divine. I have an allergy to prawns so they were able to make up for that by substiting it w other things, which was great. I then had the ribeye as a main with vegetables as a side. Both dishes came out a bit cool, not as hot as I would have liked. The steak tasted a bit like it was frozen before, had an odd taste. There were also some things that were not available on the menu, which was a bit sad, but they did advise at the time of giving me the menus which I liked.
