A very welcoming restaurant with average seating and limited parking. The food's halal and they're famously known for their dumplings. The dumplings are succulent but spicy. They offer other dishes as well but if you have a low spice tolerance then better to request to lower the spice levels than burning your tongue unless you prefer it. The customer service was good and the atmosphere was clean.

Nice little quaint place and their dumplings were delicious. Very authentic. Customer service was really good too. Would recommend it.

This is my first visit to Momo’s by Ruvi, and I want to visit again and again. I ordered two dumpling dishes and noodles, all their dishes taste like heaven. The spice level is just right, and each type of dumpling has a distinct flavor. I tried four different types of dumplings, and the chili chicken is my favorite. The prices are reasonable, making it worth my money. However, it seems like they use more artificial food flavors. Anyway, I love the taste.

I was very impressed with the food here. There was a 25-30 minute waiting time, but it was worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant. However, I do wish that more attention was paid to cleanliness. Aside from that, I was very satisfied with my experience here and I hope to return again soon. If you are in the area, you should definitely try the food here!

My first experience was really good, and a takeaway. Right portion in each and the taste was really good. Everything is perfect. Love the fries dumplings more than the steamed and spices in right level. Totally worth the money you have to pay. Easy access from the Galle Road and public parking along the roadsides. No dedicated parking. Quick and excellent customer service.

Tried the wok fried momo. Good but not the best. Had a variety of dumpling based items. A must try for dumpling lovers. The service was fast. The place is so small and empty mostly. Private place for a quick dumpling stop with your loved one.

The place is very small when compared to other restaurants, but that doesn't mean the food is bad. Food is amazing, delicious. I didn't expect such tasty food from them. The only problem was, space and food preparation time. You can enjoy the taste of Japanese food from here.

Love the food. The Chow mein Noodle was amazing with the right amount of spice and momos platter were great as well. Baos are soft and moist. All of them are worth the price. Highly recommend the place.

Fantastic dumplings! A good variety, and they have added additional items to their menu since the last time I was there, particularly noodle dishes that are quite outstanding. The change of location as nice as well it’s in a much more accessible and a cleaner area.

Good: * Absolutely love their food and my number one place for dumplings. * Their mixed platter is lovely and you should try everything on the menu. Worth it. * Nice take away packs so you can enjoy them on the go or anywhere you want. Bad : * Parking can be tricky. * Some might feel like the do not have good Covid-19 prevention initiatives in place, but since they serve warm dishes most won't mind I guess, coz I don't. So five stars all the way !

My first visit . Nice affordable food . Most of the dishes are one person quantity. My noodle dish was very oily and too much soya sauce 🤔 seems they use artificial flavours ? However enjoyed dumplings though it is small 6 pcs 😃limited parking on the side of the Galle road . Peak times Friday to Sunday 6pm onwards . Little waiting time is there .

So, at Momos by Ruvi, the Chicken Dumpling Platter gets a solid 3.8 out of 5 – pretty tasty, but could use a little more oomph. Now, the Iced Tea? Honestly, it's a bit of a letdown – watery, just one sad ice cube, and definitely not winning any coldness contests with a meager 0.5 out of 5. Moving on to the Chicken Chow Mein, it's got this slightly greasy thing going on, but hey, paired up with the dumpling peanut sauce and soy sauce, it's a flavor party that kind of makes up for it.

Compared to the other dumpling restaurants in Colombo 03, especially the one's in the area of Astoria Tower Momo's by Ruvi is kinda overrated. Their momos were small, lacked the filling and they were not quite flavourful. We ordered a Shitake Chow Mein and a Hokkein Mee but sadly, both the dishes were very salty. And the most unexpected thing was flies. There were flies everywhere around the shop. We had a great time at their other fraternal branch, Dosa's by Ruvi. That's why we wanted to try this, too. But it was quite the opposite 😞😞😞

If you love dumpling, as I do, you would probably have spent time at random moments looking for good dumpling spots. Momo's by Ruvi popped up on one such search for me. Tucked away very unassumingly on a curb side in Colombo you will miss it unless you really look for it. Its a cozy place, not fancy at all, but the vibe is fine. We tried the steamed and fried chili dumpling and the steamed were the best. All the dumpling had good flavour, a good amount of filling and a tasty wrap too. If ur a fan of dumplings its definitely worth a try.

Yum!!!! I think its a decent place to hv good food for a reasonable price! It was my first time ordering through uber, and I ordered dumplings, and I must say for the price its a winner!!!! Most of the good dumplings you find are in a bit of high end restaurents,but this did justice in all way. I must say the dumplings were good size and the sauces were good too, most places ruin the soy sauce by making it too salty but this wasnt. And in uber it showed me 500 bucks for the steamed chicken dumplings, which im not sure whetger its the original restaurent price since uber smtimes shows a higher price, but even though for 500 bucks the size and taste was a winner, will definitely order more!!!!!

We had the chicken, vegetarian, and shrimp momos prepared in different ways. I think the steamed ones with the chilli sauce are still my favourite--classic and timeless. The decor is cute and the service was fine. The iced tea was too sweet-- even though I specifically asked for no sugar. Other then that, it was a pleasant meal with friends.

Although the place looks a little shady from the outside once you step in the atmosphere is pretty calm,nice and clean. It's a small place but that wasn't an issue. Ordered the Kung Pao Chow Mein (Chicken and Prawn) with a portion of steamed chicken and shallow fried prawn Momos. Dishes were served within 10 minutes. Presentation is alright. Taste was good. Portion for the Chow Mein was great, wished more Momos came in a portion but can't complain for the price. The staff are alright, not too friendly but definitely efficient and courteous.

Went here with friends. Place was small but alright. Food was served within 10 mins of ordering but the staff wasn't friendly at all. Also they didn't seem to maintain hygiene that well since we found a fly in our iced tea. We went on a very warm day and the staff kept the AC to a minimum and didn't try to reduce the temperature even despite our requests. Kinda disappointed with the whole experience.

However, the dumplings and other dishes were so good that I'm willing to overlook this minor issue.

Asked for a shallow fried dumplings but was given deep fried dumplings that were too greasy The soup had only chicken stock powder flavour and had to return it due to insects being there. Overall, wouldn't recommend

Love the twist to dumplings. The shallow fried and spicy variants were delicious. The restaurant is open after the pandemic and is on Uber eats as well. Must try of you still haven't.

The place is quite comfortable. Their food is also quite nice. ordered a variety of dumplings from Manchurian shallow fried dumplings which was our favorite out of the lot. Would recommend the king pao noodles which was made to perfection but then each person have their own taste so try it if you like to give it a shot. We Also got the teriyaki chicken bao buns but felt there was an over dose of soya sauce which was a little overwhelming for us and kinda messed up our taste buds at the end. They have so much potential to improve their bao buns as they are quite nice and soft but the fillings needs a lot of working on to do. Overall experience is a 4 out of 5.

The place is a compact, neat and clean, but It took an hour for our order to be served. However, some families got their orders faster than us. Food tastes great, but need to focus more on serving a group with many dishes and make sure to serve all at once.

It's been my second visit to this beautiful place. The taste was as usually amazing like the first time. It's a nice place, not crowded, YET!,. The last two times I went, I tried their steamed chicken, Manchurian prawns, wok fried and the chilly cheese. Tastes absolutely yummmmmm. A must try for those momo crazies. A portion comes with 6 Momo's and is accompanied by soy sauce and other sauses. PS: it's a lil hard to find a place to park most of the time. (WHICH IS NOT A DRAWBACK THAT I SEE, COZ THE FOOD IS ALL I CARE ABOUT WHICH WAS LOVELY 😍)

Quaint, simple, cosy and quirky little eatery that has truly captured the essence of the food they serve. The menu is straightforward and the momos are delicious. You get three options.. Steamed, wok fried, and deep fried. All are good options to try although a personal favourite is steamed! The bao is something to try where they do something magical to the chicken and wrapped in the fluffiest softest bao. Flavours are on point too! A place I will definitely be visiting again!
