Located in side Cinnamon Lake, the Dining room as the name suggests is the main dining area of the hotel. It is where the Breakfast Lunch and Dinner buffets are held. The buffet here could easily be claimed as one of the best in Colombo. Priced around 3000 - 3500 range it offers great value for money with a great spread and a variety of great cuisines. The desserts are equally impressive. The service is very friendly and attentive. Generally would require a reservation to get seating inside the restaurant.

This has to be my best meal in Colombo. Every item was delicious and the condiments only enhanced their flavors. My salad plate: green salad with tomato coriander dressing, beef salad, and grilled vegetables with feta. Main course: Butter chicken, honey lamb, and rice. Dessert: cream brulee, blueberry pavlova, and cheese. Everything just worked. The tomato coriander salad dressing was the best I've tasted. The mango pickle amplified the flavor of butter chicken and lamb even more--and alone they were really good. An excellent meal with a perfect finish.

I could have a nice experience at the dining room’s dinner buffet. There were variety of foods which are so yummy and was in good condition. The hotel follows the covid-19 health regulations very well and the staff is excellent. The most delicious items for me was dumplings 🥟, lamb kebab , muscles , sushi 🍣, honey roasted pork, fried salmon. There were honey roasted lamb also but, it was not as expected for me. But when the last time I visited there, the roasted lamb was delicious 🤤. And also the chocolate cake 🎂 and cheese cake 🍰 was yummy. There were sashimi and nigiri also in the Japanese section. But, the shape of the sashimi was not like previous square shape. It was thinner now. The overall experience is great 👍

We went for the Sunday Lunch Buffet, was excellent and so much worth for the price. It was a perfect lunch from appetizers to desserts with multi cuisine dishes. Staff was also polite. We made a reservation on the same day morning but it’s better to make reservation before the day you wish to go there since the place was bit crowded. They are maintaining covid-19 guidelines in the best way. One of the best buffets in colombo.

Went to the lunch buffet at dining room for an office outing. Had a great time there. A wide variety of foods available, specially meat dishes and also desserts. Food was delicious, Was a bit crowded after 2pm. Service is good. Recommended.

One of the best buffets I’ve ever been to. We went for Saturday dinner buffet after making a reservation. The buffet included all types of cuisine and the food was delicious. They are maintaining all the precautions for covid-19 and place is sanitized frequently. The staff was really friendly and we ordered beer separately from the menu. I would highly recommend this place for anybody who is looking for a buffet worth the money they spend.

The dinner buffet cost around Rs.5900 nett and we were satisfied with the varieties and content of the buffet. The seating area is limited therefore better to reserve beforehand(atleast a day prior) If you are planning to celebrate your birthday , they give you 250g of delicious cake(offered three flavors,can select one) and writings on the plate.

It’s better to reserve for your buffet option. Indian, Chinese and Western food available with various options. Chicken soup was delicious. Beef, chicken pork and seafood were great for the main meal.

I enjoyed the dinner buffet at Cinnamon Lakeside on 23rd of April with two of my friends. Dinner buffet is available from 7 pm to 11 pm. Early reservation is recommended. We went there at around 7 20pm. There were enough parking space, but there were no guidance or support from parking keepers. It was a disappointment. When its come to the buffet, I can highly recommend it for any one due to the excellence on every aspect. Recently visited this restaurant for a dinner buffet. Recommend to do early reservations. Dinner buffet starting from 7 pm. 1st September they have arranged a special seafood buffet and we enjoyed the various seafood dishes. Because of the seafood station addition, on that day they have increased the price from 5900 to 7500 and that was properly informed prior. Staff is friendly, supportive and a good place for family and friends gatherings, small celebrations like anniversaries or birthdays. Overall experience was good and recommended.

Very good experience with very polite staff. We could not having looked after better. One suggestion though. Instead of serving cold boiled sea food, please have an action station for it. It would have been more palatable. Having said that, they had a very good spread and we enjoyed our time there

perfect for lunch buffet. good food, great deserts. i would say, this food is better than Grace kitchen@ Hilton. varieties of meat, deserts are adequately topped up as needed. since food is spread out in small but many sections, there is no need for waiting in queue.

The only place in Colombo that had a buffet on a Tuesday. We arrived at around 13:00. The restaurant was packed and we had to sit outside(photos) which was good because there we’re to many people in the restaurant. Good selection and testy too. They had Sri Lankan,Indian,Thai and Japanese. The service was good but I have to mention while I was eating I found a strain of hair in the food. I couldn’t find the manger so I informed the waitress who was cleaning our table. She was so upset and after a while she informed the manager. Unfortunately the manager never approached our table. We were at the restaurant and outside on the terrace till evening. Honestly when this happened I didn’t want to make a fuss and I didn’t. It would have been nice if someone could have just come over and spoken to us. I was not planing on mentioning this on my review either. It’s sad how the service is going down hill. Even at Colombbar the service was terrible. The waiter just didn’t want to do anything that he didn’t like. For instance to get a chair for a pregnant lady to sit or whip the chair properly so she could sit or to place a cushion on the chair. I honestly don’t want to mention everything that happened that evening on my review but I hope you get the point. Disappointing really. I just you get better and be more nice to you customers.

Had a pretty good time. Was disappointed with the blueberry cheesecake served though. It tasted like it was made out of a Betty Crocker box.

Good Service and friendly staff whom followed safety guidelines. But the venue has very small space. There are seating arrangements in the lobby area, but bit risky with visitors walking past you. (Due to Covid) . Food were fine. But wouldn't recommend number of options for the price tag.

We celebrated my wife’s birthday on 2 January 2022 at the Dining Room and it was indeed a very pleasant experience. Dining room was not our first preference and since it was a Sunday dinner most hotels were fully booked, but it worked out amazingly well for us. The selection of food was perfect, most importantly it was well presented and full of flavor and delicious. Kudos to the Chef and a special thank you for the lady and gentlemen who served and attended to us. Overall an excellent experience.

The lunch buffet wasn't special as I thought. Food was prepared well but the spread was very small. Pork belly and seafood biryani were standing out from other dishes.
