I came with my wife and child, we came here around 8.00 pm and were waiting till 8.40 to place the order, no one came to our table, then I informed the person who was sitting in the payment point in the bar. So finally took the order, food was delivered by 9.45pm. Ac was broken, food was good though. All Could be torrreable but, Person who was sitting at Cahier point was very unprofessional and rude, he might be thinking "people came here for free food, I saw that he was rudely speaking to another customer about a vacant table. Very disappointed and unprofessional. But the Person who served us was a nice guy, he apologised.

Nice ambience. Great service! Mr. Reginald Perera is the person who served us, really appreciate his great service. He helped us to select a good dish combination and the food was served quicker than expected. We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm. At that time there were no many visitors. The place filled up with guests between 8-8.30pm. The price was reasonable and the food was delicious. We have ordered a seafood pad thai noodle dish, it was not spicy and more than enough for 2 people. Thai chicken red curry was great.. and we had it with steamed rice. These 2 dishes are more than enough for 2 people. The restaurant contains separated private spaces for the group of people.(8-10-15-25 people). The restaurant is bit old but properly maintained. Mr. Reginald was kind enough to show me around the restaurant. Price is reasonable comparing to the other thai restaurants around Colombo. I would highly recommend this place to the thai food lovers!

One of the oldest and famous Thai and Chinese restaurants in Colombo. It's located at a superb neighborhood in Colombo 4. It has indoor and outdoor dining. It also has a bar as well. The food is quite expensive but it's worth cause of the good portion sizes and also the great taste and quality. For pickups they prepare food extremely fast, an order of 3-4 items is prepared within 15mins is quite good completion time. If you are a fan of Thai food this is one place to try.. Highly recommended.

Amazing food and fantastic service. The food is very tasty and although it’s priced high it’s worth the money as they have kept the same quality and standards as they have for years on end. I definitely redo them and I look forward to visiting them again soon. Keep up the good work.

The food is good as usual, normally I get the executive packs delivered but decided to come in for a meal after a long time. Service and food was great. The crab omelet hot hot is a favorite and highly recommended, the red curry and the rest is good as usual

We ordered a Tom yum soup to start things off and then moved onto the pineapple rice which contains prawns along with thai red chicken curry, hot butter cuttlefish and cashew beef which was amazing.

Food selection was not bad. Some dishes are not authentic Thai recipe. Taste not bad. Portion size less than average. Pleasant atmosphere. Slow service due to one waiter only serving 10 of us.

Disappointing Thai Takeaway I recently had the opportunity to order takeaway food from Siam house, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon receiving the meal, it was evident that the quality of the food did not meet my expectations. First and foremost, the presentation was underwhelming. The attached image showcases a meager portion of four vegetable pieces accompanied by a scant amount of curry and plain rice. The lack of variety and portion size was highly disappointing, leaving me unsatisfied. To make matters worse, the quality of the food was subpar. The egg in the dish was overcooked, resulting in a rubbery texture and a significant loss of flavor. This oversight reflects a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for maintaining a consistent level of quality in their dishes. In conclusion, my recent takeaway experience from this Thai restaurant was highly unsatisfactory. The meager portion size, lackluster presentation, overcooked egg, and consistent decline in quality have left me disappointed and questioning the overall standards of the establishment. I hope they take this feedback into consideration and make the necessary improvements to regain their reputation for delivering exceptional meals.

First time dining and the food was out of this world. Loved every bit of morsels I was having. Great place to have a family get together. Enjoyed it thoroughly

Loved the overall experience. The place is usually quiet even during a busy day. The staff was super friendly and supportive. The authentic Thai taste was well kept on all the dishes we tried. Portions are very generous. A serving can be easily shared among two. And they gave great liquor options as well.

Used to love the steam rice set menu but since of late , the rice has been changed and it’s hard like rock and not soft and sticky like previously. Siam house - if you are planning on degrading the quality,cut the retail price too . You shouldn’t be charging us the same amount and offer tasteless inferior quality food .

I was surprised that a place that served good food did not have a crowd at the restaurant. This is a place that deserves to be frequented. Customer service is absolutely superb. Service is different from other places - orders are taken and served by the Manager - he was very polite, helpful and amiable and was very patient even though I took a long time to decide what to order. Siam food has some resemblance to Thai food, but is slightly different. All rice dishes are made with sticky rice. There are many noodles dishes as well. NB: (1) This restaurant serves Pork as well. For Muslim patrons I would recommend seafood or bean curd (tofu) options for proteins. There are also a few vegetarian options as well. (2) Set Menu is available ONLY for lunch. My dinner comprised of Pineapple juice, Spicy Rice with vegetables, Pan fried Kankun with Chicken and a warm Sago pudding with corn for dessert.

Prices have increased significantly and the quality of food has reduced from what it used to be. We ordered seafood fried rice Large, red curry beef and vegetable spring rolls. Beef curry portion was quite large and enough for even 3-4 adults. Rice portion was enough only for 2 plus a kid. I really liked their vegetable spring rolls and beef red curry. But given the price not value for money as we spent LKR 7600 for 2 adults and a kid just by ordering 3 dishes (including 1 appetizers)

One of the best places for Thai food in Colombo. Highly recommend the raw papaya salad and Thai red curry. They have amazing value for money set menu lunch optionsfor take away only.

Use to be an usual for me but not anymore. Prices have been jacked up and the food quality/taste has deteriorated significantly. Thai Boulevard being the best Thai restaurant in Sri Lanka is still relatively cheaper than Siam House. This is saying a lot when considering the location and outlook of both restaurants. I'm surprised people still bother eating from this place. They really need to step up thier game and offer better value for money if they plan on surviving. A massive disappointment considering the level they were at in the past.

The food used to be so much better in terms of quality and taste. The chicken red curry tasted mainly of coconut milk - we took the leftovers home and fixed it. The best out of the three dishes was the Thai spicy chicken rice. It can be consumed on its own. The security guard at the place deserves a five star rating and a big tip for his enthusiasm - total winner!

Food is really nice. Very tasty. Quality foods. Their service is good. Place is near Bambalapitiya. Location is convenient. Garden size is small but nice place. Limited car park available. Also can park your vehicles by road. They are charging 15 - 20% Tax and 10% service charge. Then you will be get a higher bill. Otherwise their prices are good.

Had a terrible experience after eating dinner here. I vomited all day the day after. Wasn't well for a few days. I have travelled and/or lived in Sri Lanka over the past ten years, ate everywhere and have never had any food poisoning. This is the first time this happened to me.

A good place to hangout with family and friends. This place is situated between Galle road and the Marine drive in Bambalapitiya. Good service. Food is tastes good but not excellent. BYOB is possible but a corkage of 1000 LKR is charged. There are private rooms are also available. You can enjoy the food and drinks in these private rooms.

Thai curry Too spicy, many dishes not available like pad Thai noodles, portion is good, service slow but satisfactory, old restaurant needs a renovation, good place for family or large group, on the whole average.

Food is okay but much oiled, large portion eat by 3 people and price around 3600. Small and medium are also available. Beef 🍖 with Beans 🫘 not that tasty. Soft drinks, ice cream 🍦 and fruit juice are also there and taste also good. Alcohol is also available. Good customer service. Overall okay.

Very nice place for a dinner. It has a cool atmosphere and nice lightings for a dinner. The service is also quite good. Only thing was, food was not that great. Just thought it's a nice place for a romantic date too. PS - I was not on a date 😉

Decent Thai cuisine. Reasonably priced and friendly service. They have been around for a long time. Always have been consistent in their food and service.
