I recently visited this Arabic restaurant and was blown away by the delicious shawarma they served! In fact, I tried several other dishes and everything was simply amazing. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the presentation was impeccable. However, I must admit that the exterior entrance of the restaurant could use some improvement. It wasn't very inviting and didn't quite match the quality of the food inside. Additionally, there wasn't much parking space available, which made it a bit inconvenient. Despite these minor drawbacks, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who appreciates authentic Arabic cuisine. The food is truly outstanding and well worth a visit!

Ample parking is available and it’s usually not crazy crowded. Can recommend for groups as well as couples We got chicken Kabsa , two extra chicken pieces with a roti portion as dinner And Moroccan tea pot which came with a mint leaf in the glass. I would recommend this place to have a good meal with flavorful items and a good chat as well. Customer service is really good .portion size is enough for one person but two portions can be shared by 3 as well Overall experience 4.3/5

Food was next level, delicious πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹. Shawarma and hummus is same which I had in Saudi Arabia. Strongly recommended who willing to go for shawarma. Kids play area was not good,And interior is not as expected. Upstairs they have closed , A/C was not up to cooling level. Staff was good with their service but kitchen staff was looking at our table which we felt little uncomfortable. Other than that all went fine here.

My husband and I really enjoyed the food here. We are here twice. First on a Sunday evening. Thankfully we got there early and 7:30pm and we’re able to get a table before it got really busy around 8:00pm. We first ordered the Arabic shawarma plate beef and the mixed grill Arabic. The garlic sauce that comes with it is absolutely delicious. My husband couldn’t get enough. We liked it all so much we decided to also order the chicken arabica shawarma plate. We even took an order home for our friends we were staying with as they hadn’t found a good shawarma place yet and we’d found such a yummy shawarma. The second time we went on a Tuesday around 9:00 and there was plenty of tables available. This time we got the mixed shawarma platter. It was a lot of food! 5 shawarmas cut into 5 pieces each. 2 different types of chicken 2 types of beef and one veg shawarma. The platter is enough for 3 to have plenty and comes with chips. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was good as always but I like the service and atmosphere more. Very nice table arrangement and the staff is super attentive and friendly. PS - the only con I have the menu card which is old and it doesn't feel clean, wish they do something about that. But other than that it's a great place to stop by for a meal.

We loved the food. The authentic taste makes this one of (if not the best) the best Arabic restaurants in Colombo. Food prepared a fresh on orders and served hot. Portions are good. Staff are friendly and professional. Relaxing and beautiful interior design, particularly the color code and Arabic theme. Apparently an old bungalow converted to the restaurant. Ample parking on site (though it's not clear/visible from outside). Clean and spacious toilets. Also noteworthy that they are very responsive over Maps chat for any customer query. A complimentary Hummus portion was served due to a slight delay in our order. Enjoyed the piped music (but prefer instrumental over songs). The walls need some repairs and repainting. As have been reviewed preciously the menu cards need to be renewed (probably digitized - QR code, etc.). Prices are above average but could be justifiable if the customer value/experience is improved further. Overall it was a nice experience and look forward to revisit to try other food options. Well-done!

Good food and friendly staff. Value for money is good. Their kekbab s were the star of the meal. It was pretty good and had the authentic taste. Place is ok but bit old and wish it was bit more cleaner.

The food was amazing and halal. The flavours were tantalising and true to the Arabic taste. The atmosphere was homey and well lit. It was slightly cold. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic to be of service, explaining everything in the menu to people who need it. The leben was good and all the shawarma dishes were great. The prices were relatively high though.

The shawarma, kebabs and shish tawook are good. Their hummus is better than what you would expect from a Sri Lankan restaurant (although not on par with what you would get in the Middle East). I would suggest getting the chicken as the beef tastes iffy at best and pretty bad at worst. The beef was very soft and fried rather than grilled (it was very oily). Be aware they also charge an additional 15% tax. As with a lot of restaurants (and shops in general) in Sri Lanka it is not a dedicated building but rather a house/villa which has been repurposed as a restaurant. The dining area has been done rather well but you really notice this when you walk anywhere inside (especially the bathrooms). Overall the food is quite decent and fairly priced (before tax) and if you are looking for a decent Arabic joint in Colombo, look no further.

This is a very authentic desert type of a place. The lights and the environment was like an Arabic place. Inside of a desert kinda feel. Food was great. Price was good. Portion was ok. Taste was good. Staff was very kind. But food was bit late. It takes around 30 mins to get the food to the table. Drinks were very good. Definitely a good restaurant. Must try. Cheers

Good food as always. This is one of those places which you can visit once in a while to get w different kind of a foodie experience. Pro tip, if you are not familiar with the food names always ask them and they'll help you to chose the best. Apart from all this, place needs some renovation now. Other than that, all good!. PS: security person is very polite and kind, don't forget to help him guys.

I recently dined at an Arabian knights restaurant and was blown away by the taste of the food. The shawarma I had was particularly noteworthy and among the best I've tasted. The restaurant is definitely one of the best options in town for authentic Arabian cuisine. While the customer service was decent, what really stood out was the atmosphere. The restaurant has clearly put in a lot of effort to create an authentic Arabian feel, and they have largely succeeded in doing so. This added to the overall experience and made it feel like more than just a meal. One issue that the restaurant has faced in the past is the lack of proper parking space nearby. However, they have recently added a new parking lot behind the restaurant to address this problem. This is a welcome change and makes it much easier for customers to visit the restaurant without worrying about parking. Overall, I highly recommend this Arabian restaurant for its excellent food, good customer service, and authentic atmosphere. The recent addition of a parking lot is also a big plus that makes it much more convenient to visit.

I have been here a few years ago. Food was just okay back then and the interior was too dark. There is a clear difference now from the taste of the food to how the entire place looks. Bright interior, great Arabic music in the background and absolutely incredible food. The staff were able to make some suggestions and we went full on Arab. Hummus was so delicious it took me back to the days I spent in Doha. The garlic meyo had a little too much of mustard I guess, or something was too empowering to taste the mayo. But that's a personal statement. Great place for a date or to hangout with some friends. Hummus is a must try! All the very to the team and to the management.

Nice place to have middle eastern food. Prices reasonable. Food was tasty. Service needs a little attention as they forgot our Moroccan tea and cutlery. Had to remind a few times to get them.

A nice place in town to enjoy arabic food. The shawarma platter was delicious... but I dont know why they included falafel in shawarma platter. Falafel was good.. but could be better. Good service and friendly staff.

Best place to having Middle East foods. I was tried there Arabic shawarma plate & Dubai style shawarma that was super delicious and I also tried chicken kabsa & mixed grilled plate super tasty you can taste 3 verities of chicken grill. But these foods are valued for the prices in these days in here and customer service also next level . Real authentic shawarma πŸ‡±πŸ‡°β€οΈ

Recently I went there for a lunch. I have ordered a Chicken Kabsa, Chicken Biriyani and Chicken Kebab. In terms of taste, the food was better than I have expected. A portion is more than enough for a lunch per person. Taste of the food was more than average. Prices are bit expensive than a usual range, but not too expensive. But I like the location and interior of the place. Toilets are clean but better if they can modify more. Their customer service is very good. Overall experience is good.

Amazing service, tasty food & good portions. I think Bread can be added to the Big platters with less rice.

Tasty authentic Arabian food served hot. Plenty of verities to choose on the menu. Not the ideal place for vegetarians. Bit pricy but worth the money.

This was my first time visiting Arabian Knights, and I loved everything about this place. The food was delicious. Everybody at the restaurant were welcoming. Especially, our waiter Ishan was really nice and he spoke to us with a gentle smile every time we spoke to him. He was attentive to our needs throughout as well. Thank you Ishan and everyone at Arabian Knights for your amazing service!

The place is really set up to give you the vibe up of Arabia. Even the washrooms, sink, walls, furniture, the mellow Arabic music, all just come together perfectly. The food was really good for the price. Really liked the shawarma. Last time we went, we had to wait for a couple of minutes and the friendly staff quickly cleared out a few tables for us. I suggest to plan ahead before visit. Price per person I'd say $$$$$. But the food is worthy.

Best place for authentic Shawarma and mix grills ! Preferable ambiance ! Always no matter how much I try to control, before reaching there, I would end up ordering almost everything in the menu . The hummus, the falafels , the samosas all are just so so so yum πŸ˜‹ but most of all what I love about this place is the hospitality given by the staff . Especially one special gentleman who’s always kind and very helpful. He was so attentive and helped out with a family dinner we had on April 29 2022 , at the Kollupitiya branch. Unfortunately I have forgotten his name but he really is so good and the best service provided person -ever . I really would recommend this place for the food , great service in-house and for the ambiance. I would have given a 5 star but the only minus point they have was the security person and his despicable behavior by shouting at my sister horribly which was my guest. And for the not so good washrooms. Which can be upgraded asap. So pls authentic Middle Eastern food lovers, cravers and seekers , come and try out this place . You won’t able to stop afterwards!!

Little inside from the main. Its look like home changed into hotel. Arabian feel in all the thing welcoming the way, music and washroom. Giving enough time for ordering. Food presentation was most beautiful. Having children playing area. First they are seating properly. Comfortable cushine area. Food is very tasty.the vat & service charge is high like 900+

Their Kabsa chicken, Smoky rice chicken, Saj Bread, Drinks was tasty, also the French fries and the sauce they give was brilliant but their grill platter was little bit underwhelming for the price and they do include VAT on their bill. Service was quick and friendly.

Very clam and nice place to have a dinner night. Food is delicious and hot. I like the thing about they served it on time. Not too early not to late. The waiter is kind enough to ask me if I enjoyed the food. Happy to come again.
