Fan of Authentic Thai Cuisine.. Must try here if you are in Colombo.. First of all the ambience is very good.. It has this nice vibe.. The attention to customers of the waiters should improve.. Cos of that the rating becomes 4/5 instead of 5..the food is quite expensive which is acceptable.. But it has good value for money.. There is parking for about 6 vehicles.. There is a good selection of soft drinks to drink along with the meal.. Highly recommended.. But the service should improve!!

Had booked the place for team dinner and overall it was a good experience. The atmosphere is superb and the service is very good except the main course took more time than we liked. The food was superb. Very limited parking is a concern. The price is a little high but the food is worth the money. Highly recommended.

Over all a nice experience. 😌 Visited with my mother for lunch. The chef did not disappoint. 💜 Although the Papaya Salad and the Pad Thai could use a bit more peanuts and the washrooms could've been cleaner. 7/10 Would visit again. 😊😊😊😊

What a disaster of a place. There was no greeting from the person working in the restaurant when we walked in. The place isn't clean. There was used paper tissue on the floor. The floors were dirty and the tables were sticky. Very low quality maintenance. It took a long time for the server to come and get our order. When the juice we ordered got to the table, there was no ice in them and we had to request for it. The food didn't taste authentic Thai. They made a mistake with the vegetarian soup we ordered by bringing it with chicken. The server blamed the kitchen staff and got it replaced. The tofu pieces were huge and weren't presented well. It seemed as if they didn't care for the presentation of the food. All dishes lacked authentic flavors. The only dish that was average was the dessert. After serving the food the server went missing and the other 2 servers didn't care to come check on us until we had to call them to get the bill. No one came to refill any water or ask if we needed anything else. None of the servers were friendly, no smile, no hospitality and no professionalism at all. There are so many other great Thai places in that area. We will never visit this place while in Colombo and definitely not recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, authentic and friendly place for a Thai meal.

My favorite thing about the place was probably the aesthetics - eating here felt nice and comfortable, but that's about the most appealing thing about the place. When we visited, the restaurant was severely understaffed - we noticed a single waiter attending to every single table in the entire restaurant - the phone at the front table was constantly going off with nobody attending to it despite clearly hearing it. This immediately highlighted how much they didn't care about customer service as well as the noise (which ultimately negatively affected the comfort I mentioned earlier). The waiter looked grumpy and tired - a smile isn't necessary to serve a customer, but it can go a long way in the impression it leaves. The food was mediocre AT BEST. The Tom yum soup was quite nice, clearly should have more ingredients in it than pieces of fish though. The hot butter cuttlefish felt a little undercooked and just very plain - I've had much better in much cheaper places. The rice and the chicken was - again, pretty mediocre. All in all, the experience was not up to standard and it's a shame when they have such a beautiful space.

Hors d'oeuvre nara - the fried papaya tasted good, and spring rolls were marvellous with a touch of seaweed paper in the middle , but the chicken lacked salt. (3/5) 4. Phad Thai - definitely tasty but didn't feel like eating more; my personal opinion though. (3.5/5) 5. Phad Si Eiw - wasn't delicious as it looks. It was basically glass noodles with a harsh umami taste. (1/5) 6. Butterfly Pea Juice - 3/5 7. Sunday brunch - 2.5/5 8. Sleeping willow - 4/5 Overall, the prices do match the quantity served but wasn't a big fan of the dishes.

One great place to dine in. Located in an ideal place to have a restaurant which is always bussy with family, friends and couples 😉 Well organised, the seating plan and interior of the place is amazing at day or night. Welcoming the guests and the way they present the food while serving was awesome. Friendly staff and they prefer prior reservations, but if there is space then they surely accommodate depending on number of people. Parking slot is available for like 6 to 7 vehicles. Food quality and quantity is great for price, but you have to pay more due to VAT and Tax 😄. Desserts especially Brownies was the best 🤤

Came here for dinner with office colleagues. Food is tasty and all of us enjoyed. Service is good and better if they can quick the service. Coz we had to wait for little longer to the dishes delivered to the table. Since we coming from office, we need to go back within certain time periods.

Nara Thai Restaurant is a popular Thai restaurant chain with branches in several countries. I recently visited the one in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and I was overall impressed with the food, but the prices were a bit high. I ordered the chicken fried rice and the red curry chicken. The chicken fried rice was very flavorful and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The red curry chicken was also delicious, with a rich and creamy sauce. The portions were a bit small, but the food was so good that I didn't mind. Overall, I had a great experience at Nara Thai Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, but the prices were a bit high. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good Thai meal, but be prepared to pay a bit more.

A place that everyone should visit to get a Thai experience. overall it was a satisfactory meal. The Tom yum definitely gives a good punch of Thai flavours, the pad Thai was on the sweeter side (not too sure how it should be) and the wontons was something you won't eat in your day to day pallette. The portion sizes were good and the overall ambience was nice. The server was best, can't recall his name but he did a terrific job
