This is a place where every picture you take looks amazing and it feels very nice in real life as well. Calm place amongst the busiest place in colombo to grab a bite. Food and drinks are very tasty as well as reasonable in price and quantity. We went on a day which is not very busy and the service was quick as well. The ambience is very well brought out to the theme of sanctuary with interior, music and wall arts. They have live music on Friday. Overall very satisfied.

Lovely restaurant in the Beverly Street building. Beautiful ambience, with lush greenery and aviary themed decor. Unique pictures and ornaments giving it a vibrant look. Plants and orchids hanging down give a jungle like feel which perfectly fits in with its name. Wide range of food and drinks available. Food was delicious! Loved the sea bass fillet. Staff is friendly and courteous. Definitely a must visit.

I tried a beetroot detox drink and I liked it very much. Thai Papaya salad is , and Czer salad is also good. Chicken wrap is tasty and very filling. Ample parking space. Clean and dry washrooms. It's a beautiful place, the environment is good to eat. Neat process but need to wait more than an hour to get our ordered items. Even the juice 🥤 items also they provided after 30min. Food decoration is good and tastes good for some foods like sea food fried rice, however prawns briyani or chicken briyani is not as tasty as expected. Food prices are also expensive. They provide alcohol and cigarette 🚬 as well 😉 . Overall if you have more time and do not worry about the price then you can enjoy the food.

I was a frequent diner at The Sanctuarii back when it was called Cafe Beverly and I was excited to see how it held up now. We ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta that came with two pieces of garlic bread, bang bang sticky chicken and the chicken fried rice. The food was fantastic. It was so well done and incredibly flavorful. Absolutely no complaints about the food whatsoever. The interior has changed significantly from what it used to be an honestly it’s a super refreshing change. It looks brighter and cozier during the day. I loved the decor. The place was a little loud with the music on top of the screaming children but it is a family friendly place so I can’t exactly say anything about that.

The atmosphere is very nice and cosy. The place is nicely maintained. Staff is very friendly and professional. This place has a nice vibe and definitely a good place to hangout. Their potato wedges were so good and served with white sauce. Chicken fried rice was normal and the Thai chicken curry was also good & had a big portion. Parmesan Piccata was delicious and served nicely. Food is a bit pricey and the main dishes were not warm enough. Overall experience was good.

I ate here with 12 other ones from my volunteer organization. We had a really nice dinner, everyone thought the food was really delicious! (Especially the Chicken Butter curry with Naan). I also thought the watermelon fresh juice was really tasty, you could taste it was completely fresh! Also the service was good, although it took some time before our drinks came (maybe because it's freshly made). Also we thought that the restaurant was a bit overpriced for an Sri Lakees restaurant, as they ask both 10% tax fee and on top of that another service fee.

The taste of meals were top notch. For the price it was a really tummy filling and the customer service of team beverly is highly appreciated. Would be visiting again for a delicious meal.

Food was delicious here. Spring rolls came with a tasty sauce. They do mock meat which is perfect for vegans. It was quite hot in the restaurant, I would have preferred a cooler temperature. But I was very happy with my overall experience at this restaurant. Tasty food, arrived quickly and cooked by a Thai chef.

The most amazing ambiance reasturant which I have ever been in Colombo. Decorations have done meeting to its brand name the "SANCTUARY". Feels like a small jungle. Greenery is everywhere. Great ambience for a relaxed evening after work hours. Helpful staff and great service throughout. Only recommendation is for the staff to be more attentive to customer requirements on the outside balcony area, maybe a pickup bell or similar would be ideal for such situations. I remember using this at Café Beverly before and I strongly suggest to use something similar again.

Cool calm place in sri jayawardenapura road next to beverly street. Food was good too with a friendly staff. We tried a prawn pasta from their pasta range, fish and chips. From their beverages a passion mocktail and a mocha. Had a peaceful dinner there.

Great place for dinner. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. Inside of the restaurant gives you a super luxurious feeling. There arr lots of options to select from. Quality and the taste of the food is highly satisfied. They have a large memu to choose food items. They also have vegetarian options as well. If you are vegetarian you can easily spot them in the menu by the green dot next to the item. Food are little bit expensive but it's worth it. Highly recommend place to have a a meal.

Amazing food. Loved the service and quick preparation of dishes. Rices were on point and not typical Chinese stuff. The hot butter mushroom was simply amazing. Coffee was great but not the best. Chocolate milkshake was great too.

Quite a nice place, with a wide ranging menu from Italian to Indian to Thai and to Chinese. Prices are somewhat higher than your roadside cafe but you get value for money. A good cross between fine dining and a cafe.

Average level cafe with good atmosphere and good fine food

One of my all time favourite dining spots especially if you're with a family. Food is super delicious and the Thai menu is quite affordable along with a good potion size. Their service is good and it's better if you make a reservation prior visiting as the place tend to get crowded most of the time. Do try their juices and dessert as well.

Took my mum out for dinner here to celebrate her birthday. While the ambience was good and all they managed to serve ROTTEN fish in the fish and chips dish my mum and sister ordered which killed the whole night. They offered to make the same dish again and was arguing that's how this type fish smelled. When my mother cut into the person sitting two seats away got the bad fish smell . They just said sorry we settled the bill for the remaining items and walked out a great night ruined by poor service. And no there were no discounts or anything given either they didn't even apologize to us and they knew it was her birthday as we had ordered a cake and all.. Overall a really bad experience on a really important day. This is not our first time here while they used to be good this experience ruined it for us . If the management was more apologetic and actually accepted the the fact fish is rotten that would have been something without arguing with us. It was 8 of us saying it was rotten.

A very pretty and aesthetic place to enjoy a more intimate and peaceful time with family and friends. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but the ambience, service, etc. make it worthwhile. When I came with my friend we had two cocktails, the beef burger, a creamy prawn dish, and a brownie. Portions are filling and seasoned nicely. The brownie was also super gooey and nice with lots of chocolate chips. If you are looking for a good place to eat and relax please visit this place!

(However the mango sticky rice which we ordered had been made with normal rice and the difference was felt) The masala paneer curry was to die for. I recommend reservations for this place because it was quite crowded even on a weekday night. I can give 5 stars for the ambience and the decor although lighting can be little bit more dimmed on the main floor. There are many diverse options for food. We ordered Mango Lassi, Vanilla Milkshake and Chocolate Milkshake as drinks. Mango Lassi had the fresh Mango taste which we appreciated. All drinks were not too sweet (even the milkshakes) and we loved them. We ordered 2 chicken burgers; the Southern Fried Burger and Big time Burger. They come with potato fries and salad. I found the Southern Fried Burger to be little dry for my liking. So the Big time Burger which had a half done egg was more to my liking. Every bite was delicious. We also tried the Holy Basil Chicken and felt the Basil taste was not accentuated enough. Pad Thai on the other hand was good but I personally would have liked it to be little bit more spicier. All portions are huge and very filling. The service I feel can be improved more. As we walked in there was no one at the entrance to greet us or show us to the table. It took a while for someone to come and even then they looked a little confused about our reservation. Because the place is busy we have to make some effort to get the attention of waiting staff. Water was served at the very end when we asked for the bill. Although the staff was polite I feel the service can be improved to avoid the small shortcomings. I look forward to returning here.

Had dinner with my family last night at Cafe Beverly in Rajagiriya. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. We loved the music and the ambience. The staff was well trained and friendly. We felt welcome from the time we drove into the basement cat park. It is now my favourite restaurant in the area as it is conveniently located. Will definitely go again.

A fine dining restaurant with a large selection of dishes. The food is soo delicious beautiful presentation and attention to detail is highly admired. The dishes were of large portions and we even had trouble finishing them. Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned it was a fiesta in our mouths definitely worth your money. The staff is extremely friendly, the place is clean highly recommend for a quiet dinner with your family or loved ones. Wishing them best of luck and hoping to visit there soon.

Another good place to have your meeting, lunch out or other small celebrations. The place is next to Diyawanna Lake and the atmosphere of the cafe is calm and quiet. The food is also great and the price is average too. The staff is very friendly and supportive. You can enjoy a variety of delicious food there like Thai, Indian likewise. The place is BYOB too.

Great dining experience at Rajagiriya with a diverse cuisine of Indian Thai Chinese and Burgers. BYOB is allowed. Ample parking and large dining space. Good service. Food is delicious and very well done. Prices are towards the expensive side especially the desserts. In comparison with the price the quantity is not great. Quality is very good. Love the ambience. Located at a very accessible but busy main road. Clothing line is also available next door to do some shopping.

On the ground floor level of the multi storied flagship store of Beverly Street, the cafe has a wide range of food and beverages to satisfy most people. The food was decent but not exceptional, and it took a long time to arrive. The ambience is comfortable and the staff are helpful. Will I return? Yes but not if I am in a hurry.
