Will never recommend this place to anyone ever again. When placing our order it was specifically mentioned that my wife is pregnant and yet they messed up our order and sent us a Crab Soup instead of the Chicken soup we ordered. She is highly allergic to seafood and they put my wife's life at risk. But the worst part is when we contacted them regarding it they kept disconnecting the calls and didn't even make a simple attempt to correct their mistake. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE!! Refused to take responsibility for their mistake.

The food was Superb!!!! There were so many new dishes to try out. Would definitely go there again. Their staff is so friendly.

This is a simple Chinese dinner, the food is good wholesome and flavourful. We had the Crab Sweet and Sour soup and it was delicious. This was followed by some Chicken Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Prawns. The ambiance is fairly simple but good, the service was really excellent especially compared to the other restaurants we have visited. To make things even better we found the prices to be fairly reasonable as compared to similar restaurants. Overall an excellent place that we would like to revisit.

First time here. Portions are generously big and priced reasonably. We sat downstairs indoors, clean and nice but not very cozy where we sat. I must mention about the staff, all very polite and generous. If I'm not mistaken I was served by one Mr. Raheem who was very helpful in selecting dishes and advising us so we don't order excess. I was told they have private dining rooms upstairs for larger groups. Food was clean and tasty but I wish their was a little more salt in them dishes but I'm not unhappy 😊 Will definitely go again soon and prolly will be a regular.

Food and the atmosphere was very good, and the staff was very nice and well informed about the dishes. Placing a reservation is recommended on weekends as this place get crowded during evening. An outdoor terrace and Private dining rooms are available. I personally recommend Szechuan Spicy Beef and Lemon Chicken dishes Although they have a good selection of beer, liquor menu was lacking much needed spirit varieties, paying corkage for any hard liquor would be much better than ordering from restaurants menu.

Very friendly & helpful service. Food is very good, worth the price and very satisfying, had their Lime Sprite, mixed rice, HBC & their Ice-cream with nuts & chocolate sauce. The server even gave me a green tea which I thought was very sweet & thoughtful. I feel like this is an underrated place, very good food & people 👍🏼👍🏼 Will definitely come here again.

Make sure to check before you leave the premises when you request to take away. I orderd as their site but reality is totally differs with the description. Earlier the foods was superb but time being the quality reduce.

The food Is as good as the last time I visited almost 6 months ago, the taste, quantity, and even service is quite good and I must say is consistent! Worth the price too.. my only gripe is the limited slots of parking available.. when a self entitled Ah***e parks using 2 slots as though he owns the place, that's 1 more person that won't get to park, therefore not be able to dine there since its located on such busy road side.

Arguably the best Chinese food in Colombo now. Good portion size and affordable price. No matter how hard I try other Chinese places, I always ended up in Shandong.

This is our go to Chinese restaurant mainly due to their reasonable prices. Atmosphere is quiet and calm when you dine in and food is good as well. recommended for dinner/take outs

Staring with immediate attention by the owner himself and the staff to park the car in this busy spot, it continued to seating arrangements and taking over the order, timing of delivering the dishes and even toothpicks and finger ball without even costing a glance at the staff. Leaving the restaurant and reversing to the busy road was a breeze with their continuous attention throughout. Food was delicious!!!

Excellent Food, really kind staff, but don't believe the waiters when they tell you portions are only for two. A fried rice easily feeds 3 people or more. Hot Butter Cuttlefish was excellent!

Easy access by main road but parking is a problem. Food is good. Better to be upstairs than down stairs. Staff is friendly and efficient. Good for a family outing.

We went lunch for Shandong. We ate sea food rice, kumpawo chicken and drink 7UP. Food is delicious. My favorite is fruits plate. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is quite OK. Parking available for 3-4 vehicles and finding a slot may be a matter during busy hours. However staffs are help to park your vehicle. Highly recommended.

A great rival to Chinese dragon café especially if they can focus and continue to deliver in quality. I did a pickup order, I didn't even need to get out of the car, they settled everything and gave the food to my car. I respect that convince factor. HB mushrooms are really nice, not so spicy and not very thin as well. I had a beef and chicken tall noodle box as well. Large portions are quite tasty too. One downside of the noodle is they put the meet on top of the box and the gravy as well. If I were to serve to a plate (or even eat from the box itself) the noodles that are bottom of the box seems dry and bland. Maybe they can add the gravy / sauce to noodle to add the taste and keep the meat on top.

My favorite spot for Chinese takeout in Colombo! Their takeout meal rice and noodle packs are fantastic, though a bit pricey, the portion size justifies the cost. The customer service is good, and I appreciate the variety in meal packs with different meat options.

This is quite a good place to have an evening gathering with family and friends. They've got some private areas as well as outside tables. Parking is a bit of a problem but you can park your vehicles about 100m away from this place, which is a place owned by them. Its BYOB. The price is reasonable and the food quality is average. The dishes we ordered were quite oily and spicy. Overall it's a good atmosphere.

The taste of the food is really good. Not much crowded. You can have a pleasent dining experience. Their service is excellent. They served the ordered food really fast. Waiting time was less than 15 mins. Value for the price is good.

I have been to this restaurant few times. I like the lightness, aroma and taste of their dishes. Unlike in some other Chinese restaurants nearby, their dishes are not very oily and saucy. I like that lightness. The ambiance of the interior is also simple and pleasant. There are several rooms to select for groups and private dining.

Few months ago this was my favorite Chinese restaurant superb quality tasty food better than all others but after they earned many customers n developed more they hve reduced the quality of food even the buttered cuttle fish is reduced quality’s months before it was excellent but now i not satisfied with quality pls give back the previous quality n taste of food

I’ve ordered from here before and food used to be really good however their standard has dropped to the max. I placed big order today and to start off they delivered the wrong order and when I called and informed they said they will deliver again. Then I got another call from them asking what I received and if I’m okay with that or not I responded saying I was obviously not okay coz it was not what I ordered and paid for. Then they said they will redeliver the right order I was fine with that. When I received my order they took two hot butter cuttlefish from the previously incorrect order and added it to mine as I had ordered as well due to the whole time delay the cuttlefish was soggy and not crispy at all. The soup however tasted good but every other item prepared was not at all tasty there was no flavor the chicken was just boiled there was no taste in the food at all. It honestly tasted like it was cooked in rush and there was definitely no taste. I was highly disappointed as there are many Chinese restaurants I could have ordered from but I chose Shangdong coz it used to be one of the best but now it is the worst and I regret my decision. I wouldn’t recommend it now to anyone because the standard have dropped to rock bottom.
