A good place in the busy off borella area... tasty foods but not everything innthe menu are available always, lot of meat option and 8f you are a vegetarian still there is something for you..they care you lot.... cute small place..good for a group dinner as we did

Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is very cozy.. the owner is very friendly and helpful. The meat is SMOKED!! Wow, the flavor is so unique... absolutely mouth watering.. the meat just falls off the bone and is smoked just right! haven’t tasted anything like it in SL.. so it’s a place to try out The green salad and the cheesy pasta comes as a side.. 😲 Amazing home made BBQ and KOCHCHI sauces.... for those who love spicy.. and.... they have mocktails that can be converted to cocktails on request.. 😉 as it is... BYOB Open mic nights on Saturdays... Will definitely be making a visit pretty soon..

Loved the experience here. The Food was perfect. The portions are large and filling. The Service was excellent. The friendliest people here made sure we had a great time. This is a great place to chill with some friends and have amazing smoked food. They have some great Vegetarian options as well. Can't say enough good things. Great Place. Would Recommend 10/10 !

The guys who deliver the best burgers in Kandy(and easily one of the best in the country) are in Colombo with their smoked meat. Having been there thrice already, lunch and dinner on the same day included, I can't get enough of their yummy smoked meat. Service is stellar as usual and the fairly spacious seating is an upgrade from what's being offered at their other carnivore competitor Meat Us. The meat is smoked fr 8 hours and I was denied a second serving of beef because it needed 2 more hours of smoking. So yeah, in a time where we have all the issues with food saftey, this is a great sign. Also, try to call ahead to make sure you don't have to wait too long.... The wait for the platter is usually 10 mins In addition to the great smoked meats, their sandwiches and pastas are also great. They also allow BYOB for booze.

I got to know about this place from Instagram. My first impression after I saw the photos was I need to go to this place soon. Because of the big meat portions they serve and i personally love to eat BBQ stuff. Then I found they allow BYOB as well which was again a good thing. So I went there with one of my friend with a half of a bottle of wiskey. Before going call and check the availability. Sometime they get fully packed. We ordered Garlic Bread platter, Chicken platter and a smoked chicken sandwiches. All of them were so tasty and fresh. And they serve varieties of side dishes as well. And i dont know how can they give such big an nice portions to that much cheap prices. There prices are so reasonable. Only negative point I can say is they were not accepting card payments. But they said they are already working on that.

Visited Smokestacks by Licensed to Grill recently. It's a pretty nice atmosphere with a lot of space and a very interesting interior design. The team is very friendly and are at hand to answer all your questions. Their suggestions were spot on in terms of what to order. Food was amazing. Pork was slow smoked for 12 hours we were told. Flavour profile was good. But meat wasn't falling off the bone. Annoyance yes; but didn't deter me much. There were two sides with the pork, a sweet potato salad and a green salad - my choices! Sweet potato salad was pretty damn good. Garden salad was great too. But sweet potato salad was the clear winner. Then the Smoked Chicken Sandwich. That was also a clear winner. can't recommend it enough. They're still going through the initial stages. So there are still some kinks they'er working on. But overall, memorable experience. Would recommend.

Best smoked meat in the town and they have good ambiance as well, staff is so helpful and welcoming they showed us how they prepare the smoked meat as well. Price are reasonable

Had the mushroom and chicken pasta. The dish had a generous serving of chicken and mushroom and tasted amazing. The iced tea was to die for on a hot day. The place was cozy and relaxed. But the highlight was definitely the smoked chicken, it succulent and tender.
