After long time me and my friend visit there. We ordered a chicken fried rice. I thought the taste of the foods were still same. But sorry to say its totally disappointed me. Really, i should go to regular food shop and have a rice and curry. It would be better than what we had that day. But one thing i noticed, ths service are still very good. People are good. Hopefully everything will be fine as soon as.

One of the oldest restaurant in colombo , They have been there for more than 50 years .. it’s famous for its biriyani, it’s really good taste and the parata is highly recommended to try . Staffs are very supportive and we can feel the difference with the service quality with their experience. The uncle who served us was Mr.Sammoon who is working there for last 54 years , he said he joint there when he was at 16 years old and now he is 70 years , still working better than a young boy. It’s seems the owners are very kind towards their employees. The place always be crowded and finding a parking is bit difficult. If they improve towards modernizing the restaurant, they can take the business in to next level .

Thr have the best Parata with chicken crazy in Colombo! Rest of the food is also good and the service is pretty good as well. Not the most comfortable place to dine-in but definitely a experience! Street parking available

Food is very taste. Good customer service. Food prices are reasonable. Egg full fried rice is enough for 2 people. Basmathi rice is used for fried rice.

If you’re in Colombo 7 and you’re craving a good biriyani, Raheema is one of the first places that will come to mind. That’s exactly the situation we found ourselves in, and we’re glad we dropped in. Things at Raheema have remained more or less the same over the years from the menu, to the restaurant and staff, which we were happy to see. If you’re a past pupil of either Royal College or Thurstan College, heading back here will most likely be accompanied with a good dose of nostalgia. You’ll find the staple Indian dishes like biriyani, parathas and dosai as well as the addition of some Chinese dishes, which we weren’t exactly tempted to try.

Great place for a quick and delicious meal. Lankan biriyani at its best! Be sure to order a side of roast chicken.

I've been a patron of Raheema since my school days, and it remains one of my favorite spots for Parata and Biriyani. The chicken and beef gravies have always been my favourite. Today I revisited after five years, and while the Parata was good, the taste of the gravy has changed quite a bit. It's still thick, but the flavor is different. Even the kottu tastes somewhat different. I hope they can maintain the old taste as it holds a nostalgic place, reminding me of my school days.

Revolting.. every butler is touching food by hand and serve. If you don’t trust me go and see for yourself. It’s just disgusting.

Have been a frequent customer for decades since my school days. The food is always good. Only downside is the lack of parking space.

Decent food and the prices are moderate. The place usually is crowded during the meal hours but there are lots of seats, so won't find yourself waiting in a queue to get in. It's cash only so make sure you have enough cash to make the payment .

It is so horrible to mention that hygienic factors are not maintained upto atleast certain level. When I ordered Tea, they provided tea withiut washing the cup and remain from previous usage can be clearly identified. When, I complained them, they did not even considered and they provided next tea after some time. Also, they are not cleaning dining area and they alsways concerned only money. Most of time they brought the bill before receiving the medal. Therefore, I do not recommend this place for those who wants to have a snack or meal.

A good place for Indian food. They have samosas, wadei, kottu and biryani. The Signature Chicken Biryani is a large portion including a fried chicken, boiled egg, sambol and gravy but need to pay additionally for the onion sambol. They serve it with a good taste and texture adding many local spices and one portion is so enough for one person. Prices are quite high but the quality is the same. Overall, delicious food, fairly spacious but less hygienic.

For servants are too old, age is not a problem, but they're less professional less caring and serving, no plesent, they took me curry for fried rice from another person's table and returned to him, order processing too slow by them, honest review please take it in a positive angle and improve your hotel, good luck

The food was spoilt and couldn’t eat, in spite of me spending Rs 700 for an egg biriyani. Absurd!
