Place
is
quite
small,
maybe
accommodates
around
60
people
in
total.
We
weren't
really
greeted
by
anyone
when
we
entered
but
everything
after
that
was
great
service-wise
The
place
has
a
bit
of
a
confusing
entrance,
but
that
may
be
due
to
the
nature
and
location
of
the
place,
set
in
a
fairly
old
styled
building
off
Galle
Road
in
Colpetty.
It
has
a
side
entrance
with
a
fairly
comfortable
waiting
area,
and
a
main
entrance
through
the
open
(what
is
supposed
to
be
a
garage)
area
The
tables
are
nearly
all
round
tables.
The
chairs
are
comfortable.
Lighting
is
mild
and
yellowy,
set
at
a
soothing
and
enjoyable
level.
Background
music
is
present
but
not
overwhelming.
A/C
is
used
to
make
the
climate
cool
and
enjoyable,
not
too
cold
nor
too
warm
We
were
a
large
party
and
ordered
several
dishes
from
soups
to
mains
to
drinks
and
desserts.
Food
came
on
time
(within
20
minutes
of
sitting)
but
the
wait
did
not
seem
that
long
even
though
we
started
quite
late,
around
9
pm
The
Tom
Yum
soup
was
quite
nice.
An
ample
amount
of
seasoning
was
used
along
with
a
good
serving
of
seafood.
I
thoroughly
enjoyed
the
taste
of
the
heavily
spiced
dish
The
Hot
Butter
Prawns
was
my
favourite
dish
of
the
day.
A
nice
crispy
coating,
properly
spiced
with
a
beautiful
creamy
buttery
flavour
could
be
felt
at
the
first
bite.
The
prawns
were
well
cooked
through
and
through
to
make
the
dish
a
delight.
An
accompaniment
of
steamed
rice
was
not
as
great,
but
the
combination
more
than
made
up
for
the
lackings
of
the
steamed
rice
The
large
Mixed
Chopsuey
Rice
that
we
ordered
was
exactly
that.
Large,
a
good
mix
of
chicken,
beef,
and
prawns,
and
a
good
variety
of
vegetables.
The
only
regret
I
have
in
this
regard
is
that
there
wasn't
enough
rice
for
me,
though
there
was
a
thick
layer
of
vegetables
and
meats
(more
than
a
centimetre
thick)
to
make
up
for
it.
A
bit
of
extra
steamed
rice
did
the
trick,
making
up
for
lost
rice.
The
spicing
was
right,
the
oiliness
was
low
but
enough
to
boost
taste
significantly
enough,
i.e.
do
it's
job,
and
all
pieces
and
bits
in
the
food
complemented
each
other.
The
meats
and
vegetables
were
cooked
and
fried
well,
soft
throughout,
with
the
flavours
seeping
to
the
middles
of
the
pieces
The
Sweet
and
Sour
Chicken,
the
Chicken
Manchurian,
and
the
Sichuan
Fried
Rice
were
all
average.
There
was
a
good
amount
of
spice
used,
but
they
just
didn't
stand
out.
Either
the
proportions
of
ingredients
used
wasn't
the
best
or
something
was
missing,
such
that
flavours
that
shouldn't
be
highlighted
were
so
The
Hot
Butter
Cuttlefish
Kottu
I
would
not
recommend.
Unlike
the
Butter
Prawns
which
delighted,
the
kottu
disappointed.
Sweetened
does
not
go
with
the
kottu,
nor
does
it
go
with
hot
butter
cuttlefish,
unless
mentioned
as
sweetened
in
some
way
or
form.
The
spice
too
wasn't
really
good,
an
overuse
of
capsicum
dominated
things
and
was
not
the
best
opening
flavour.
The
rest
of
the
spices
were
too
mild
to
be
felt
under
the
sweet
sauce
and
capsicum.
Though
there
was
an
ample
amount
of
cuttlefish
served
on
top
and
the
quantity
being
sufficient,
the
tastes
or
lack
thereof
kind
of
marred
the
dish's
experience
The
ice-cream
for
dessert
was
okay.
Just
normal
vanilla
ice-cream.
A
good
treat
when
you
want
it.
However
the
caramel
pudding
was
old
and
hard.
Not
something
I
enjoyed
at
all
A
special
mention
about
the
cheesy
creamy?
I
think?
pasta
that
was
also
ordered.
The
quality
is
what
you'd
get
in
a
good
Italian
restaurant
in
Colombo.
Spiced
sufficiently,
cream
correct,
pasta
perfect
All
in
all,
I'd
definitely
recommend
visiting
the
place.
The
chef's
recommendations
tend
to
be
the
best
dishes
(as
usual).
