Today (02/11/2021) I ordered 2 chicken dolphin kottu and 1 chicken kottu for takeaway. Once I collect the order and came back home around 9.15. I opened the chicken dolphin parcel and start eating while I am eating I found a piece of plastic in the food, (it's looks like pen cap). I'm so disappointed and I took the photos and throw the food. Then I call them 7 to 8 time to launch a complain, but the phone line was busy. Then only I thought to write a review about it. But I realize writing the review is waste of time coz they won't respond if i wrote a review about it coz for most of bad review the didn't respond it. I'm thinking if a child eat this meal and any thing happens does they take any responsibility ?? Try to keep your kitchen clean every time.

We visited Ricorn on Saturday around 1:30pm. Highly crowded at that time. So we decided to takeaway. We ordered Medium Chicken Kottu & Large Cheese Kottu. However then we got a table and we decided to dine in. The waiters didn't care about our order. Customer service is disappointing! Chicken Kottu - 4/10 ⭐ Below the average taste. Portion is okay but not worth for the price. Chicken Cheese Kottu - 7/10 ⭐ Taste Good. Portion size is good and worth for the price. Customer Service & Atmosphere - 3/10 ⭐ One of the worst customer service that I had. They Didn't Cleaned the table and least. Cleanliness is below the average. Place is too small and messy can't recommend for dine in.

Ricorn hotel a new famous name in Maradana that's gonna keep making history for ages , if it continues the same. Alright I purchased two items from this place. 1st the parata. It's a thick parata which is not quite big though but thick enough to say it's a good parata. Currently priced at Rs22 each , it's one of the best of a kind and different parata in town you should try it out. It's always out of stock , hence any given time it's fresh from the kitchen when you eat it. 2nd The so called famous chicken cheese kotthu. While I placed my orders I noticed another customer saying please do not put Ajina Moto and Chille paste , this was a bloody good insight I found out. Hence even I suggested the same. Moving on the kotthu was not spicy nor sweet coz they didn't add much of spice. Overall it was lovely dish , there was decent amount of chicken to enjoy with some fleshy bones , also the rotti quantity was good too. This was a take away dish so while I was eating at home I mixed little bit of Chille paste to my dish and then came the spicy kotthu taste.

High prices, taste was good, not the super. But got the feeling dine-in portion is less compared to takeaway.

Famous for their cheese kotthu. Full portion is well worth the price and is enough for 3 people to share. Doesn't look like the most hygienic place but personally haven't had any issues. No dedicated parking space available so might be a problem during rush hours.

Went there since the place was very famous for its kottu. Tried their cheese chicken kottu and it was good, but it didn't has any unique taste. The portion is generous for the price tag. The place is very crowded and I had to wait in queue for around 10 minutes until they prepare my food. Staff is friendly.

Located in the heart of Maradana, only few steps away from Maradana railway station, Ricorn is one of my favourite Kottu places in Colombo. Ricorn offers wide range of Kottu including your handiye kade chicken Kottu, cheese and chicken Kottu and palandy Kottu and many more. They have a variety of dishes from different fried rice options to many rotti dishes. One of my go to is their cheese chicken Kottu and LKR 1240 for a normal portion and LKR 1480 for a large portion is pretty worthy and highly recommended. There is no dedicated parking available and it may be a hassle to park especially during the day time and the evenings. Parking at night won't be a issue since there is less traffic in the area.

Visited to try the so famous Cheese Koththu... It was actually good... Will visit again for their Biriyani or Naan or something... 😁 😁

Food were very Tasty really... But one tea cup are 150rs.. actually that's not fair.. However Best & tasty food we can buy at Maradana aeea.. Keep it up.. Best of Luck

Super delicious koththu in this place. I bought egg large Koththu take away & Egg normal koththu Dine in. Large Koththu can be eaten by two people. If you want to eat super koththu in Sri Lanka, this is one place. Am highly recommended this place....💯👌

Great Food, very delicious. Very helpful staff. I tried their famous cheese kottu, it is highly recommended. I also had tea It was very good too. Prices are not too expensive. Fairly priced. Hard to find a table for dine in, it is very crowded. You will have to wait quite some time to find a table. It's hard to find a parking spot since a dedicated parking lot isn't available, however if you are lucky you can find a parking space in the streets in front of the restaurant.

I went there looking after several Vlogs regarding that place. It is known as the best place for kottu at Maradana. I had a chicken and cheese kottu there. It was really tasty. It was loaded with a good portion of chicken.Price was reasonable. I was given a good service too

I tried chicken fried rice and cheese koththu. I would say the taste was average. People had recommended that this place offers the best koththu, but on that day, it just tasted average. 🤷

- Am always in love with their cheese kottu. Good portion and great flavours. More than enough for 2 people. - Biryani is also a must try. Biryani sawan can be shared by 2 people. - Staff is also super friendly and provide a great service. - The place has a limited seating area so your patience is highly appreciated during evenings and weekends as it gets filled with customers. But if you can bear it up for about 5-10 minutes, the staff will soon clear a place for you. - NO CARD PAYMENTS are accepted, cash payments only.

Food variety here and taste is super good with reasonable prices. Customer Service from the receptionist need to be improved as they are not treating or not giving proper attention to their customers. They are prioritizing their friends order at first and pushing our orders for delay and this type of service need to be totally eliminated.

Food is very tasty specially the cheese kottu, but there are some hygiene issues in the restaurant. Very busy at evening

AFTER WE SETTLED DOWN IN OUR ROOM,WE WENT OUTSIDE TO GET SOME FRESH AIR AND MUCH NEEDED SNACKS.WE STUMBLED UPON THIS GOOD PLACE.THEIR FOOD IS AVERAGE BUT OVERPRICED. GIVE IT A TRY, IT IS WORTH YOUR EFFORT.

It was very busiest hotel in the town, you have to wait to dine in there, but we had kothu and dolphin kothu usually, it was tasty and worth for the price. There tea also famous but it was too much strong. If you are going to have kothu and dolphin kothu, you can try here and there other dishes also good. But you have to bear with the crowd

Best place for a dolphin kottu! Highly recommend this place, only issue is that it is always damn crowded.. they should atleast make the restaurant bigger by now, It have been the same ever since i have been here for over 5 years now. They definitely have the potential as they have a lot of people willing to eat there but are turned away as there is no place to sit (or stand). The cost is definitely worth it, at a point I stopped going to it because it was too irresistible thus my weight was getting out of control 😅. Overall, if you are close to Maradana, you should definitely try their dolphin kotthu, you will not regret!

My first Kottu experience and I can say that it was interesting for sure. I am personally not sure I love the dish - but glad I tried it for sure. The place is a small, very basic cafe which thrives on being one of the few 24 hours dining spots in Colombo. (A tourist win!!) Fast service, value for money food and an extensive menu is a definite plus. Not the cleanest place, even while everyone had a mask on, and there is a rare case (for Sri Lanka) of staff not being able to speak in English.

It is a hotel and bakery. Food are very tasty . As a food you can get rices, kottu and briyani in all variety. Other than that all bakery items there. Dine in and take out also here. Dine in they give with sahan . It is a Muslim hotel so halal things available . Take out little bit late you can feel irritate but dine in very fast. My favorite is beef cheese kottu. Full and normal food item there foods are very tasty but little costly .

Ricorn means taste and smell... Bakery items are best for money.. Cheese Kotthu and string hoppers koththu are awesome, very crowded due to that delay on service. Best option is phone order. They will give the time then go and pick it up..

Tried their Cheese Masala Chiken Kottu and it was fantastic. It was less than 1300rs and it's worth your money for sure. Will visit this place again and try some other dish. Surrounding area is pretty busy at all times. So parking could be an issue.

Best kottu around the city, substantial amount of vegetables and meat with crisp frying taste of Garlic. A bit expensive. But as doomed with all kottus, this one also give a bad time for sensitive tummies following morning

Here the best item u can get is koththu.. I don't recommend the fried rice because its oily and not so tasty... Almost all of the baked items are good..service is very good too. The place is Little bit crowded at evening and night..
