Great place for dinner outings and its 3100nett per person. Super variety of food selections. They have a small srilanka corner as well. The buffet runs till about 10.30pm. But make sure you dont go there on a rainy day since they have only limited closed-indoor seating.

Good place for a fine meal, They have varieties of food in different cuisines, Western,Eastern and many more varieties place is clean and tidy staff service was also average and can be reccomended Prices are bit high. Wheel chair acessible entrance is not available at the moment can be arranged it wanted. Ample of space for parking and a pleasant view.

The buffet was open for dinner on Friday night. The view is amazing. Breeze is cool and it is an open air restaurant. There were grilled meat, some kebabs, several main course rice and noodle options but the varieties are really less than I expected. There was a separate pizza corner as well. Dessert varieties were good. Enjoyed the fudge which was really good. There were watermelon, pineapple and papaya as fruit options. My baby loved their cream soup. But main course menu need to be improved.

I have being to this restaurant once for a Sunday Brunch. We really enjoyed the brunch buffet with mocktails. They had a large variety in the appetizer and dessert collection. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious.

Was there for the weekend dinner buffet and would say its worth the amount paid. Variety is pretty decent and the service was good. What appeals most is the cozy vibe and the welcoming atmosphere of the place. Since its Italian food not recommended for spicy food lovers.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in town! With two seating areas: the air-conditioned restaurant and the verandah. The restaurant is usually very quiet and perfect for a special and private dine-in experience. Verandah is overlooking the lake and the golf course; great views. Overall, the ambience is great, service is great and the food is phenomenal. Their seafood pasta is to die for.

The atmosphere is good. Standards have dropped. Good spread of food but taste n range is not as before. The more expensive sea food n meats were not available. Service standards have dropped too. Somewhat disappointed.

The dinner buffet was one of the cheapest available around Colombo. The variety of the food was okay, to be honest, but I preferred the brunch buffet rather than attending the dinner buffet. Compared with my last visit, various food items were taken off the buffet, and some of the best desserts and main dishes were not available. The quality was okay, as always, and the buffer was quite well occupied with seafood, pork, and chicken, but less beef. The overall experience is good, the food is okay, and I wouldn't say this is the best, but it is fairly good in terms of what you get for your money. And as I said before, this is one of the cheapest yet best buffets available around Colombo, with a well-balanced menu of food varieties.

I went to the pranzo for the birthday treat for my wife. There was no buffet option that day. So we had to order from the menu. The food was tasty, but the potion was not enough is my personal opinion. The ambiance and the service was perfect. The wine we had was excellent.

Lovely venue. A quiet haven in the bustle of the city. Lots of greens and the lake surrounds you. Food isn't bad but the location is the main reason you hit this joint.

Being there many times, I love this place. Due to covid, no buffet there now. But place is open for pre-book guest (walking is risky, better book before coming). Friendly staff and good food

I went here on a Friday night for the dinner buffet with my family. Happy to say everything was great. The service was top notch. Waiting staff, floor managers and cooks were so helpful they even offered to make a separate meal for my baby. Food was so delicious vast variety to select for your taste. Atmosphere was awesome too. There was live music and view of the park was pretty nice.

Reservations done for the international buffet on a weekend. Worst spread on variety of foods. At least there’s nothing for seafood, egg omelette , sausages, which are the essentials in a dinner buffet. Only few pieces of prawns were found from the salad dish. There was an action station for pasta but till the end I didn’t even see a chef on that place. They took a quiet big time to refill the items . I have been experienced plenty of buffet in Colombo & outside and this is the worst place I had ever visited. Please think twice before you step into this hotel.

Lovely Spot. A beautiful, classy place for an evening hang out with your partner or friends. Gets even sweeter and romantic when it gets dark and the lamp lights light up the place. Advised to reserve seats beforehand.

Went for the dinner buffet here. They've got both indoor and outdoor seating and international cuisine was served. The buffet wasn't very extensive but the food tasted okay. Service was good as well.

They have both buffet and menus. Foods were quite reasonable for the price we paid. Staff and the management were really friendly and pleasant.

Great atmosphere, food and service. Had the Sunday brunch here. A perfect place to sit, have a beer and relax with friends on a weekend. If you are a member you can also use the pool, gym and get discounts.

Lasagna 8/10 Soup 9/10 Margarita Pizza 7/10 Service was satisfactory, but the management needs to have at least three waiters handling things over the weekend. Food took one hour, including two wrong orders.

They have a buy 1 get 1 promotion these days and we thought we would give it a try. We ordered a bbq chicken pizza and a mushroom pizza. The pizza crust was thin and crisp. But sadly the sauce and the toppings were tasteless. The pizzas lacked flavour. We felt like we were eating plain bread. Disappointed.

Its no joke when i say watersedge has some of the best food in the country, im yet to have something that was short of amazing from here. Pranzo is no exception when it comes to their Italian food. Its definitely a must visit spot if you want some great italian food.

Their dinner buffet was too small and lacked selection for the price point they were charging. The meat stations were dry, cold and bad smelling. The one good thing they had was their sushi and their salmon not only that but also the view. disappointed

This restaurant serves many areas in waters edge. The food has good portion and is tasty. Can gey crowded which can delay the service. Overall satisfied with the experience here.

Prices are reasonable and can get busy often so, you might have to wait sometime to get your order. Service is generally ok even it took sometimes.

Isolated and waiters are too busy serving customers in the lobby. Great ambience but we also saw rats running around. food is great.

Usual place, love the view, do try their mutton pizza, its really good. Great view, great service. But the tables are way too big. Deck suits well for a rainy day with a great view, or else the garden is the best for a night out. My regular go to place!

highly disappointed with the service we received. My girlfriend made reservations two weeks prior for the Sunday brunch for nine people and requested to be seated indoors. When we arrived, they had arranged the seating in the outside deck area, which was really uncomfortable due to the heat. They then arranged an old wedding hall for us to be seated in, which was far away from the buffet. It was extremely dirty and dusty. We had to request that the seats be cleaned before we sat, as the dirt was clearly visible. They are very disorganized. The sushi buffet was in a completely different location. The food was good except for the sushi, which was in a hot room and did not look appetizing at all. Had high hopes for this place as we expected them to be able to compete with other buffets. Needless to say, I will not be returning here again.

The Buffet was great. A variety of food and all of them tasted good. I specifically loved the desserts they had. Good ambience and great staff. Worth the price. ❤

We went for the dinner buffet. There was a decent selection of items. Vegetarian options were limited though. The mains was good, but I wouldn't say it was great. The appetizers and desserts were very good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the view was great. The service was not the greatest. We had to wait for a while to be seated, even though we had made a prior reservation and the place was not crowded when we arrived. However, the staff were very friendly and courteous. The coffee pot was apparently broken, so we ordered cappuccino instead. The cappuccino was good but it took a while and arrived lukewarm.

Pretty basic food on the dinner buffet. Had a mess up on our seating just as we came and we had to wait for a while for them to get it ready. At the buffet, the labels of the dishes were mismatched. There was a dish called 'Vegetable Rice's that had chicken in it. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and obviously, we were quite annoyed by it. The vegetarian options available were absolutely dismissal. My girlfriend ended up eating just a pasta and a few potato wedges. It's pretty damn pathetic considering we paid 3100 lkr each. Please improve.

Dinner buffet: Starters, salads and desserts are excellent. Soups and mains are mediocre and boring. Especially the meats can improve a lot.

Poor customer service with great food. The manager in charge is very rude and has little to non customer service skills. Poor communication and and bad attitude overshadowed the great food. We went there with two kids and requested to be seated inside the restaurant and we were forced to be seated outside saying the main restaurant space is fully booked. We were given a dark corner in the balcony area. Kids got bitten by mosquitoes. After the meals we saw the main restaurant was completely empty and inquired with the manager in charge. He was rude and didn’t not even care to explain. Verdict- great food. do not go there unless they improve in their customer service skills.

Regular visitor. Great buffet spread and very good Italian food. Water's Edge is always a great place to relax.

Lovely food and atmosphere. Depending on weather, outside area can be a tad uncomfortable. Can recommend - the 4 cheese gnocchi! We did not have the buffet, however the selection seems to be of great value.

Service of this place really depends on the waiter you get. There is one really good server with excellent service. There is another waiter who will shout at you if he has too much work. (Personally experienced it- refused to clean the wet lawn chairs shouting at me saying it will rain again and he can't be bothered and refused to give to tissues to clean it myself.) Otherwise really calm and beautiful place.

Mediocre food. Wanted my steak medium rare but it was overcooked and unappetizing. The restaurant itself has a good ambience but that didn't make up for the low quality of the food. Not sure if I would go again

Nice place to have a evening drink. You could get seats in the open lawn are looking at Colombo sun set. Nice view and quite calming ambience. Food is good and cocktails are also good. Service is also great. Friendly and helpful staff. Also a good place for family and kids.

Taste is average, service levels are quite slow and worst of all it’s extremely over priced. Ordered a baked crab LKR 1550++ , all you got was a single small crab + a single slice of garlic bread and salad .. not worth the money at all
