The main reason for three stars is poor customer service. The four gentlemen were just lazy & were like, "ආවා නම් කාලා යන්න " However, they were quite fast in giving you the bill.... The Chicken Quesadilla & the Brownie Deluxe were not of the best quality, and considering the taste, I would say things are just overpriced... Even with the mentioned taste, I would have given more stars if the customer service was better... Unfortunately they lacked the standard in all these aspects.... I do not recommend the place to anyone.... 👎🏻

The cocoveranda is not a place we would recommend for their cakes. The cakes tasted dull and dead. They were not moist and we ended up returning the cake. The burgers were fine. The place is alright. Overall, was not too happy with the place. But, always opinions are your own !!! #natnzin

Both indoor and outdoor seating facilities are available but if you want to enjoy the air condition the space is very limited there. Usually the place is not that crowded and the staff is polite. Coming to food we ordered spaghetti bolognese, chicken lasagna, iced coffee, hot chocolate with marshmallows and a cheese cake. Spaghetti was pretty average and I didn't like the way the chicken tasted. TBH it was an utter waste of money. And the iced coffee was below average for Rs 540. However the lasagna was up to the expectation but there was no wow factor in it. But the marshmallow dipped hot chocolate was a one fine beverage. And the cheesecake was one of the best I v ever tasted. Overall the experience was average and if I go again it would be for the cake.

Need to order the food and pay for it before hand. The food was delicious. Can recommend the mutton kottu. But it takes a considerable amount of time to prepare the food. The waiter came and kept the food on the table and then he went to serve another table. Then he came back with the plates. Then went off and after some time he came with the cutleries. Was not very happy with this service.

Very cozy cafe with amazing drinks and food. Excellent service. Visited the new location as well. Drinks were really good as always. Staff was friendly and helpful. More quiet than at the previous place, but probably will pick up later on. Overall good.

Sandwiches were good. Service was slow. Toilet is upstairs and it is very small. You have to go to the cashier counter to order food. Crowded and guests were loud.

Really nice place. If you talk to the staff, they will even get the place arranged for small parties. (my gf arranged my bd party there <3) Staff are so nice, really friendly and helpful. Ambiance is superb. Food is also great. Couldn't try the coffee though. Highly recommended.

It is a decent place to meet for a cup of coffee and have a chit chat with you friends go on a date. I like the ambiance of the restaurant even though it has limited space. Inside is sometimes a little humid. Foods are a little pricey, but they are delicious. Staff is very friendly and the service is quick.

A coffee shop down Ward place with relatively good spacing. There is a small parking area for about 3-4 vehicles, it’s not a busy location so this is fine. The outside area wooden chairs are too heavy and stuck to the floor and cannot be moved easily and is a real hassle. The food honestly was bad. We ordered a fish and chips which was too oily and had no taste. The chicken sandwich was quite large than expected but again was dry and lacked taste. We tried the berry smoothie, Peach crush and chocolate milkshake which was decent. The service was poor. The staff was not really friendly. And they have few staff members there but no one to take the order from the table which was puzzling to us. We had to go to the counter to make the order. The washrooms are setup upstairs in a dingy low light area which honestly a girl would feel uncomfortable to go alone. There are wirings coming out of the floors which can be tripped on in low light. These are things that should be considered. This was a bad experience for us and would not be a repeat visit place.

They opened this new outlet right in front of the Viharamahadevi Park a few months back. The location is difficult to miss. And there is good enough parking space inside. And the staff and the ambience is so good inside the cafe. It's one of the best few places around Town Hall to have a chat over a snack with a friend. It was so calm inside. Their brownies are the best and totally worth the money. And the sausage chopsey rice we had was also good. They didn't take much time to prepare the meal either. However the iced tea was not that great. All in all food here was reasonably priced and would definitely recommend for brownies for sure.

Food served with a smile in comfy surroundings be it indoors or outside; whilst quietly sipping a marshmallow hot chocolate in a tall glass, surrounded with filling lattes, kothu and a variety of rice - at Cocoa veranda you are truly spoiled for choice. Paneer kebabs and cheese toasts (6 slices) with green chilies added to flavour with a handful of fries in the middle of the display plus more than enough chicken wings in a portion were hard to resist on a wet cold day! If meeting with colleagues or a family catch-up you’re in the right place at any given time!

Ordered hot butter cuttlefish from Uber eats.. Was dry and Bland and horrible taste.

I’ve ordered their mixed Basmati fried rice twice and it’s the best I’ve ever tried. Today I also ordered their deviled chicken and hot butter cuttle fish noodle combo which was also very good. The portions are huge and can easily feed two people. Their chili paste is another very tasty creation. Well done people!!

Coco ward place was my favorite, the rich ambience an that cozy feeling with the delicious food was all perfect. Coco on ward place have so many varieties of dishes to select. Highly recommended.

It was undoubtedly the best service. My anniversary cake was prepared in very short notice and it was beyond delicious. It was wrapped real pretty and its so nice that we didn't even have to give them a call. It was all arranged through WhatsApp. They also had the courtesy of sending a picture before and after wrapping. If this is not 5 star service, I don't know what is.

Quality has really gone down the drain. Was served a lukewarm iced coffee. Returned it and got served the same thing again. Took ages to get served eventhough only few customers were around. Prices have also increased to five star restaurant level. Won't be returning.

Stopped in here mid afternoon for a latte but ended up ordering their pumpkin soup and French fries as well. It was delicious!!! Creamy, flavourful, just plain yum. And great garlic bread to go with it. We left with happy bellies and hearts !

Loved it here. it was a Saturday afternoon and it was not crowded. We had the whole place to ourselves. Food is alright. The burger was big and it was the bomb. Beverages are nice and filling. A tad bit expensive but it is a given considering the place. All in all, its a nice place to visit.

Coming back to this place ever since 2012. Love their food. Their Death by chocolate cake is a must try. Food takes a bit of a while to be prepared. But all the wait is worth in the end. Yummy is the word here.

Arguably, had an unfortunate experience of having an already sweetened cuppa that was far too sweet for my liking and a not too good brownie. Considerable parking space available. Given the current circumstance, I'm guessing this was a one time occurance. Looking forward to having service level up and running once again, Kudos to the manaand team!

Cozy and comfy restaurant around ward place which serves wonderful food. My favorite sweet is death by chocolate which will make you amazed.

The food was delicious, the portions were great and presentation was good too. Lots of compliments - a relative also asked about your place. Special thanks to Mr. Saranga for coordinating the whole thing, he was very pleasant. Will definitely order from Coco Veranda again :)

Nice cozy place to have a cuppa and a meal too. The bevarges are perfect and they do have s good variety too. The sandwich buns we had was so tough. Gave up on the second half. Pls do try get more softer bread when ordering!

I have previously ordered several items from the menu, and for how insanely pricey the food is, the taste isn't that mind-blowing. What ultimately made me write this review was the fact that I got a severe case of food poisoning after consuming the "Death by Chocolate Cake." I'm not sure if it's the result of how the ingredients were handled during the making of the cake or how the final product of the cake was handled by the staff, but whatever it is, this will be my last visit.
