As I explored the shoreline, I discovered an array of vibrant seashells and fascinating marine life. The beach is also home to numerous exotic bird species, which added an element of enchantment to my visit. Watching the graceful birds swoop and dive across the sky was a mesmerizing sight. Facilities at Crow Island Beach are top-notch. The clean restrooms and shower facilities were well-maintained, providing convenience for visitors. Additionally, the beach offers plenty of shaded areas with picnic tables, perfect for a family outing or a peaceful picnic by the sea. I highly recommend visiting Crow Island Beach for its natural beauty, tranquility, and overall serenity. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a place to unwind with your family, this beach has it all. I was left with unforgettable memories and a longing to return to this hidden paradise in Sri Lanka.

To be frank, I won't list this as an amazing or must-visit beach park, but it is a nice place to get relaxed and have a walk. The park spread over a large area. You will find many things there, such as, play ground, children's play area, number of shops and restaurants (toys, snacks, beverages, food, etc.), timber deck over sea, mangrove, fresh water lake, walking tracks, bicycle tracks, etc. Another interesting thing is, Colombo harbour can be seen from their partially. Ships can be clearly seen coming in and going out. If you are nearby, this is a good place to spend an evening.

Possibly one of the most extensive parks for children in the city, featuring a vast area with facilities for various activities such as walking paths, a beach area, a resting area, kids play area and more. There are also ample secure parking available. It is advisable to avoid visiting during holidays when it can get very crowded. If you happen to be in Colombo, it is highly recommended to take your kids to this park as it is definitely worth a visit. Note: 1. Although there is a sand pit near the beach area, it is not very clean, so it's recommended to supervise your child while they play there. 2. Swimming in the beach is not recommended. 3. The park is situated in Crow Island, and as such, there are many crows in the vicinity, which may result in a poop attack. 4. It is advisable to avoid visiting the park on rainy days.

The place is quite serene and relaxing with the ocean breeze. But I'm not very happy about the cleanliness. The coastline was filled with trash. Even though people can safely bath on the near beach, I don't recommend it.

Great place to relax in an evening with some snacks. Lots of shady areas are there with abundant seating spaces. Park has opened in 2016 and now it requires some capital replacements to maintain the standards. Overall the general maintenance is good here. Recommended for all.

Peace and quiet, could enjoy the sea view for hours

It's not maintaining properly for about a year. Garbage is everywhere. Located in slum neighbor hood. Drug addicts and some wiered people can be seen roaming around. There's nothing much except the dirty beach.

The beach is unclean... There isn't much to see in here evening might be a view however in day time there isn't much to see a dirty beach and there is a small shop to buy snacks but not dinner or lunch And watch out for broken glasses on the beach there are lot of garbage

One of the most polluted beaches in Sri Lanka. Pollution is due to the Kelani river estuary located right next to the beach. Debris coming down the river finally deposit on the beach. However CLEAN OCEAN FORCE is currently maintaining the beach by cleaning the garbage on a daily basis. Amazing job is done by them.

The beach, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations, and its overall appearance was far from appealing. The sand was coarse, and the water seemed murky. Additionally, the lack of proper maintenance was evident, with trash scattered around the area. It's disheartening to see such a beautiful natural setting marred by neglect. I hope the local authorities take steps to improve the cleanliness and aesthetics of the beach for future visitors

Highly polluted beach. There’s been many cleanups, and at the end of the day it’s up to the visitors to be more responsible and conscious when disposing garbage.

It's a mind relaxing place for anyone. Busy in the evenings specially on Sundays. Have provided a children park,rest rooms, food stalls. There are plenty of seating places and a ground area for those who wish to play a game like cricket. And also the greenery area is a wonderful place for an outdoor picnic. And can't forget the breath taking view of the beach. There is a parking place which the ticket price was Rs.40/=.

Well kept public park. There are mostly open spaces. It's quite calm early in the morning.

It's a nice place to warm up and to do exercises in the morning and in the evening and as well. There is a huge car park where you can park about 50 cars. No problem at all it's a peace and calm place. There is a cycle track also if you want you can bring your own cycles and ride in there. There are a lot of dogs but not even a single one is disturbing you. You can freely do any exercises and jogging till 8:00 a.m. in the morning if you mind is sun. If you don't mind the sun if u still wanna be fit then crew Island beach is the best place to go in Colombo. And you have free air cooler that is the crow island beach which gives you air for 24 hours.

I'm dropping one star because the beach was not clean, except for that, crow island beach park is a nice place to plan your next hangout. Very spacious, calm and peaceful.

Decent and quiet place, with seating possibilities. There is an ice cream van, and clean public toilets. There is also a playground for children. The other visitors were quiet and kind. However, there is a lot of garbage lying around, and the beach and the water is brown from garbage, dirt and what might be worse. At some seating the smell is bad, and repairs are needed many places.

We visited on 20th Feb 2021. The place is not in good shape. Looks like no maintenance has been done for last few years. Looks like some work is going on. Great place to see the sunset with the view of Colombo harbour.

Completely revamped. Great for early morning walks and workout. Also great place for taking your kids . Entrance is completely free. Can get crowded on weekends. Vehicle parking is also available. Play areas for kids, food stalls as well as donkey rides. My entire family goes out every morning for walks, a great place to relax and get your energy level up for the rest of the day.

A nice beach with a beautiful surrounding Has both walking & cycling paths along with a very big kids play area and a parallel bar set up for adults. Mornings would be perfect as the view & the breeze is juz amazing Beach isn't quite good for a bathing

The place maintain by military. Nice seating area for families. Pretty relaxing. However, the beach is very dirty. Seems no one bothers to clean the sea shore. Sea water quality is pretty bad too.. Best part is its safe. Army personal are on watch all the time.

My experience in Crow Island was worst. Because all the children playing area was closed due to COVID-19. Also it was so dark in the places when I go to visit the beach 🏖️. In my experience it will be great when they solve all the issues.

Could have given 5 Star 🌟 if they had a hut or a small place to safeguard people from rain. There was only 1 hut and due to this COVID, only few people can stay inside. Other than that the place is so good to have a nice evening with the family.

The place is an ideal for an evening. Kids can play, people can have a sea bath and enjoy the sun on the shore. Ample parking is available. Even a bicycle lane is available.

A quiet place to have dinner or lunch with family. Might not be ideal place to discuss business plans over ice coffee, as its too open. The food was especially fantastic. I found the atmosphere a bit humid/ hot. A/C was relatively good, but could be better. Will recommend to all food lovers.

What I love about this place is that you can truly see the beauty of nature, feel the blowing wind and relax yourself. People often come to relax their mind mentally and physically. There's also a cycling area. We really have to appreciate the contribution made by the army to keep the environment clean. But the negative thing here is the beach isn't clean and also it's better to avoid having a bath there. If you head over to the bride, you can see it's slightly damaged also. The shops available in this place do not provide quality foods therefore it's better if you can bring your own food and pleasantly have them. But the positivity overweighs the negativity.
