In Colombo city 🌃 it’s a good place for children and adults. There have a huge vehicle parking area. In there restaurants and entertainment places are there. We can spend time with friends and family here. The best thing in this park Bowling 🎳. Don’t go alone. It’s the best place to hang out with friends. Children entertainment games also there.

A cool place to hangout with friends and family. There is something for everyone from a child to adult. There is a separate park with activities for children like the carousel, train ride etc and from bumper cars, pool to bowling for teens and adults. There is a separate gaming arcade where you can enjoy several video games. After everything you can grab something to bite from the food court. I have added a banner displaying prices taken on October 2022 with this review. There is a huge car park also. So go ahead and have fun.

Good place to bring the kids. There are variety of entertainment for kids that Sports, games, cinema and foods. Very crowded during holidays.

Used to be the hub of Colombo entertainment for teens & young adults. But now it's an average hang out spot for people working close by... In all honesty, it's now better than what it used to be 3-5 years ago

Visited there after 3 years. Nothing has changed in the gaming area. They have renovated the food court. We went bowling, same infrastructure as 3 years ago. 10 lanes are available but only 5 are operational. There was not much of a crowd on weekdays. A few other games are available. Not crowded. No idea on weekends. Big parking area available. Parking charges applicable.

This is a good place for gaming with friends and family. I have visited here many times with my friends. Bowling, video shoot, 9 D cinema, basketball and many more options are there. They have a food court with different varieties. They have huge parking space with high security. This is in center of Colombo you can visit anytime.

This review is only based on the Food and the value for money here for food is amazing. Taste is good, portion sizes are very good and the prices are reasonable. If you have 4 or 5 friends, definitely try the Massive submarine. Service is also okay, no one will bother you even if you stay for hours. However, ambiance is good for a friends meetup and similar things but not for a cozy chat etc.

Mr.Van at the bowling alley is an awesome person. Serves with a smile and super friendly. Nothing else that really excites me about this place. Pool table is overpriced but it’s nice and decent. Alot of couples come to play pool and bowling.

We came to lunch at Excel World Cafeteria. Food was tasty. And good for the price. And it is a hygienic place around Maradana area. There is plenty of space in the car park. It is ideal for a huge group to have a casual gathering, farewell or just to have lunch en route. Can hold upto 100 people in the Cafeteria.

We went to food court and bought Sri lanka's longest submarine, its 1m long and it filled with mouth watering tandoori chicken filling and blue berry cheese cake is also very delicious 😋😋😋

Best place for bowling and kids fun games. Bowling per person would cost around 500 LKR, but it's definitely worth it. During the global pandemic this place has taken extra precautions on social distancing and safety first. Food parlour is Available for dine in or takeaway with a diverse variety of cuisines

Nice place to visit for the entertainments... Entrance is free. You have to pay only ur attending games. We went there for the snow world. Adult entrance fee is Rs600 and kids (under 6) Rs 450. Only for one and half hours they charge that amount. Amount is bit high. There is no snow actually. Small crushed ice cubes are there on the floor and some times snow came from roof gadgets and spreading some curshed ice from side wall gadgets. DJ music also available for dancing. There is more fun for kids. They took nice experience in there. Nice place.

As far as my knowledge concerned this is the one and only bowling alley in Sri Lanka. Excel World was famous for their game zone earlier but now is only focusing the bowling. They have renovated their food courts to nice and cozy restaurant. However I’m not thorough with the prices since I went for a corporate event. A best place to have corporate events and they will provide good packages and the services. Food is nice and delicious. They charged Rs. 500 per person for bowling. And sometimes the entire bowling area is reserved by corporate customers , hence better to check with them prior to visit the bowling arena.

Nice place to enjoy kids and couples. A person who is working in the reception of the bowling 🎳 area is behaving like the owner of the company.Other than that nice place to enjoy reasonable prices. Food in the main restaurant is tasty but 3 star prices .You can select the package as you wish.

The staff and the service of the bawling section is very bad. I have been there several times, the other sections also give poor service. I do not recommend this place. People choose this place since they haven't other option to choose. I think the staff misuse it to serve badly. Normally I don't like to leave bad reviews. But this place made me to do that.

I went there w with my office colleges to spend some quality time. there were no much crowd when we reach there. Staff is friendly and supportive. We went to the bolling alley and pool tables. The person in the pool room was really friendly and even taught us the tricks and rules to play tournament matches. We dine in the same place even though we felt good are little bit over priced. We had long Submarine which was nice and tasty as well. Looking forward to visit the again. recommend to any one who wants to spend some quality time with friends and family.

Had a great time. I've visited the bowling alley(in 2022) and the VR(in 2020). The bowling alley was the best bang for the buck fun. We went in as a group and each payed Rs.700(as of Dec 2022). The score boards are all setup well. Our alley got a couple errors so they were kind enough to transfer is to another alley.

Tried bowling for the first time with my friends. Had so much fun. The place had many other activities as well. Nice place to visit for indoor activities with a group of friends. Has a food court as well. Entrance is free however you have to pay according to your gaming interests.

Worst place to visit in Colombo. The security is so rude. Won't let us stay in the cafeteria till the game section is opened. We are going to there place and they won't let us stay inside for a while till *their* game section opens. This happened while the premises was open. We will accept if it was a rush hour. But we were the only people even in the premises.

Place is old and not up to the mark. Even the equipment used ia slow and takes it own time in settings the pins. Went at night and the place was deserted. The music is too loud for comfort and most od the food court has shut for good. Best avoided.

Came here after many years, and sadly Downgrading from 5 stars I gave years ago to 2 stars It's not as it was used to be, almost all the arcade games are broken or not working properly. The whole place feels like it was neglected for years, everything looks broken, only the bowling ally seems to be in some shape, but that too has the neglected feel to it. P.S. The response was something nice to see, I loved the place as a kid, hope the new projects make a good difference. :-) Bumping one star up ;-)

No proper maintenance & staffs. It has lost its old glory. Please do a major refurbishment and bring back its old life. Kids today will love it.

The place has been renovated during COVID-19, it's got a fresher look. Not much of a food court when I went, they are likely opening more soon because I saw more slots. The old bowling place is still there as well as the indoor football center. The Keg has been rebranded as Darley Rd and it's been completely refurbished. Looks very nice now with a facelift outside and inside.

As a childhood go to place, it was amazing to return here after ages, but unfortunately, it has relatively run down from what it was before. Don't get me wrong, the security people were amazing, but the inside staff weren't upto standards at all and they seemed to only for their job for the sake, could have been better for a returning experience

It's not as good as it used to be when I was small. The games and park equipment are not maintained properly anymore. Most are broken or malfunctioning. The only good thing about the place is the food court.

Really displeased with the way front door security man behaved. Went in my vehicle, entered the premises after getting the parking ticket. Walked to the front door entrance to meet my other friends who were already inside. Security man started bombarding me with many questions in a very unfriendly manner. I explained I was going to the food court and meeting my friends. He asked why I want to go there, whether I am going to buy any food or not etc. and asked me to get a friend to come to the entrance, otherwise I cannot enter. He was very rude and questioning me as if I was already guilty for something. When I started speaking back he gave lame excuses like Covid 19 which did not make sense. At this point one of my friends came to my help and asked what the problem is. He suddenly got afraid and started lying, saying that I was told to go inside after writing my name on their book and I am making a scene there because I was mentally ill. I understand there are security procedures to be followed. I cooperated without any problems at the start even though he was utterly rude from the beginning. If people coming in during the pandemic is a problem to Excel World please keep it closed. If that is not the case, please teach your staff how to engage with the customers in a respectable manner. I do not come to Excel World to be treated like a criminal or to be discriminated and humiliated from the very second I enter the premises.

Many adults INCLUDING SOME RIDE OPERATORS were seen without masks, not following COVID-19 health guidelines. There were people smoking within the premises as well.

The most entertaining centres are closed here. Looks like the place is bankrupted. Now there is no crowd either. At past this was one of the best entertaining centre and now it has nothing. Poor maintenance

Had a bad experience at the bowling arena. It seems that the place is not maintained well. The bowling machine was malfunctioning and we had to spend time sorting it. Do note that the present Manager (short fair old guy) is arrogant and disrespectful to customers. I must admit that we made a blunder because we paid for 1 however, 2 of us played since the number of shots remained the same. We did admit our fault. However, the manager made a big fuss and was talking to us in a rude manner. To make matters worse the guy even confronted us with one of the guards there and was continuously keeping a watch on us which was creating an embarrassing situation. I believe as the manager, he should have dealt with the matter in a delicate manner. Really disappointed in this place and I won't recommend to anyone.

The place has kind of gone past it's prime. Fairly lower prices than competition. Manager? of the bowling alley would try to discipline you mid game for having fun with your friends tho. Fair enough, because you don't go here to have fun, right.

Disappointing and Old... I have noticed only one restaurant in operation at the food outlet. The food court staff was very friendly and helpful. But to be honest the food in the food court was not that good. The amusement park is not maintained properly and with old equipment/ rides. Some machines don’t work properly. Out of 6, only 2 bumper cars are working running with soo outdated. The bowling alley!! staff service is poor, very poorly maintained. The environment was not that peaceful.

The place is crowded on holidays. A considerable amount of games are out of stock due to lack of maintenance. Better they can update games and equipment aligning with new technologies. Other than that place is ok to go for a family outing.

Not as expected, seems CCC has more games and activities than excel world. But its great for some budget gatherings. And small meetings. Can get some causal pictures for instagram.

Excel World Colombo theme park is very popular among kids. Excel World amusement park include rides, video games, bowling, a gaming arena, a pool lounge, laser tag, pub, food court. One can enjoy activities like 7D cinema, children's amusement activities and bar with live singers during the weekend.

I only been to the Marcopolo lounge! They provides a small area where we could have small functions like birthday parties, business dinners etc. Food was fine. Better if the management can renovate the area for a more futuristic vibe.

This is a one of the best and old place at Colombo for entertainment. Several games available for kids and adults. Most popular is bowling. Kids have adventure park alongside, it's quite old but safe. Better charge fixed rate for parking, at the moment we have to pay per hour charge. Cafeterias located around for minimal to high class.

I'll be honest. It is quite a fun place. Just not up to standards. I remember this being a huge thing back in the day. With all due respect, they haven't really improved on the stuff they have. Especially the arcade games, if they spent some money to fix the games and make it run properly, I believe just that would make this place so much better. Loved the bowling place but kinda too expensive. There's also a Pool place inside, that was quite nice.
