Great place to bring your kids with family and friends... They have separate kids pool area, and a wave pool area which is producing waves in the pool.. also a adults pool area wich is more depth than the other pools.. You can enjoy the wave pool by using the air balloon or ring.. you can simply hold it or you can sit inside the ring... Also they have dj music and dancing groups to entertain you more... enjoyable day, Great experience..

Wonderful experience. It was a very happy place for children. They were very happy. Children love to play in water. Especially since this place is huge. They bathed for hours without even wanting to come ashore. In fact, taking children to such places during the holidays is a great gift for them. Anyway enjoy with your kids.

We visited in June and we had a fun time in Mayan Water Park, which is located in Ja-Ela, Sri Lanka. The Adult Ticket price was 1000 LKR per person. And 900 LKR for kids. This place needs to be clean and new in look. No improvement since it was built. Some of the places are under repair. It was really crowded when we visit there. Anyways, this place is good for a leisure time with friends.

Honestly you can enjoy the view and also you can capture photos as well. I visited water park area and that area was good

Good place for kids as well as for adults to enjoy the leisure time. The water park is very well maintained. There are waves which are artificially created. Lockers can be found inside the changing rooms to protect your valuables. The changing rooms are properly maintained.

Nice place to hangout for children. Expected it to be larger than this. Not many activities. no place to swim actually. surprising it may be . Except for a small deep pool on top. Wave pool is the only activity that is worthwhile. Staff is friendly. Dont expect a place like leisure world.

There are lots of positives. Water area is fun. Depth is perfect. Artificial waves are fun. Bubble pool is cool. Kids area has fun parts. Bathing area, changing area, toilets lockers are well maintained. Restaurant and ample parking However, Actual pool area is supervised poorly. People rush to the pool without taking a 2ash. Some are not wearing swim wear. Some are wearing regular underwear /cloths with swimwear. So the water is not clean. It was milky and full of particles (sea the pics) . To compensate, they have added a huge load of chlorine which irritates eyes and skin.

Place is good. There are people fighting for the tubes. Better if the management can provide more tubes or limit people as per the availability of the tubes

Mayan water park is an amazing place to spend a day with you family and friends. There are 5 different pools to enjoy. The wave pool is definitely the best. This is Sri Lanka's only themed water park. Bathrooms are clean which is definitely a plus point. Good place to bring friends visiting from abroad too. Food stalls and restaurants are available too. Always a great time at the water park!

I really like this place but nothing much to do and Muslim women can't get in the pool since shawls are not allowed other customers should respect the other religions I came all the. We arrived there around 2pm. At that time the place wasn’t that crowded. You can get a locker for 100 rupees to keep your stuff safe which was good. But we were totally disappointed by the music. We’ve been there like 5 hours, all that time what they were playing was some low quality “‘mal sindu”. Apart from that pool was clean. The mayans themed cave and artificial waves were really fun

Not much things to do with the paid amount. For adults only the wave pool is available. Adults 1000 rupees. Washrooms are cleaned well. But there is small amount of tubes unlike in leisure world. Without a tube it is useless in the wave pool.

It is a very fun place to visit and have fun with your friends. The wave pool is fun and the artificial cave is fun to explore as well. There are many activities that you can do with water here and I highly recommend visiting here if you are in the area. Also since its situated inside Guruge Park there are more things to see and do as well.

The water activities are good but there wasnt sufficient enough of tubes for people. Also the car park guys are extremely horrible because they take in vehicle without having space on the car park.

The mayan water park is a great place to visit on weekends because the price is a little lower than usual. But I think they should include more events. Overall the wave ride is the best. There is a mayan cave in the wave ride and if you look closely at paintings you might notice something funny 😋😋

Water is so unclean. People werent wearing any swimming suit. Not suitable for children at all. There is no management, cleaning process and maintainance. Some people were also having liquor and cigarette.

Can't recommend this place to anyone because it's not like it used to be. The dressing room is incredibly unpleasant. The smell is very bad. Not clean at all. The water in all the pools is very dirty. Very unpleasant with putrid colored water. We will not go again. I do not recommend anyone to go.

Our recent visit to Mayan Water Park on 24/02/2024. Unfortunately, we found the water to be extremely unclean and lacking in hygiene standards. As a result, all of us developed rashes on our arms. We sought medical advice, and the doctor attributed the rashes to the unclean water. We kindly urge you to take immediate action to address this issue and ensure the cleanliness and safety of the water for all visitors.
