But the guy named Thilanka is really very annoying.We extended our stay in Srilanka for a day and for that he argued with us during the trip for 1 hour.Although we paid everything for extending the trip but he gave useless points and argued.He even asked us to pay 45$ extra for airport transfer, although it was already in the package and we paid for it before coming to Lanka.Pls dont ever book through them.They are simply cheating people with their useless policies.For every problem he has only one answer" It's company's policy." At least dont cheat your neighbours. Thank you

I was in Sri Lanka for 5 days with my family. We had a great experience with these guys. The driver - Mr. Kumara was very friendly. He has good knowledge of the places we visited. We covered all places as planned. Thanks for the good service :)

Bad service - Milan your "TUI travel guide" told us when we've going to Kandy we will see also Dambulla and can go by train and it will cost around 3-5€ So I don't know why but we had a trip trough the higlands. we did the trip from Kandy to Gampola - it was like doing it at home in Austria. and then we were driving through the Higlands. At all not that what we wanted to see... Our guide and driver were okay, but on the second day it was annoying sitting from 9am until 7pm in the car with 6 short breaks and one for lunch. May it was a missunderstanding at all, but Milan's answer was the day after we came back from the trip "I will let my boss know" - no sorry, not interessted how this missunderstanding could happend! I can not recommend this!!!

Sri Lanka's premier diversified conglomerate. Very strong in the leisure sector with a range of hotels and agencies both locally and overseas. Aitken spence is also involved in logistics, power, printing, apparel, travel, and many more strategic investments.

I would say the company Aitken Spence Group is one of the worst company at moment though it's a very reputed company. The recent incident was while I was on a tour on the 14th February from Mirissa to Tissamaharama at Hungama I saw 3 large white color buses belongs to Aitken Spence Travels. One bus was ahead to me and other 2 buses were behind me. In front of my vehicle there were 5 to 6 vehicles and I could not over take none of the vehicles according to road rules. But as soon as I just pass Hungama junction I got a chance to over take one vehicle in the front and Aitken Spence bus behind me over took my vehicle and the vehicle in front of me on Single Line position and escape from a headon collision. I informed the incident to the Aitken Spence Travels manager but I don't see he has taken any action. Also I don't think none of the drivers who carrying foreigners in these buses holding a valid tourist board authorized license. I think management do not aware about these incidents. I know the management directors are very experienced people in Tourism but Head off the Departments of the company not doing their duties accordingly. Hope management will take necessary action with employees for their future betterment.

Such a bad customer service. I have taken their service last 3 years but today I got the worst service ever. Miscommunication and no customer respect and don't recommend to use Aitken Spence Travel Services. They sell hotels double price of the general price and very unfriendly service and customer support

I had requested there help in negotiating a non-refundable booking whose dates had been mistakenly entered. While the hotel itself, Taj Samudra, had agreed to revise the dates (from 5-7 December as booked by mistake to 5-7 January), the representative at Aitken Spence point-blank refused to provide any help whatsoever. Lost over 200 USD as a result. I agree it was my mistake, but I do not understand why Aitken Spence was so non-cooperative, despite the hotel agreeing to reschedule me.

Excellent working environment

Sri Lanka visa extension sorted over Christmas. Perfect timing for us and very helpful staff. Lots of offices around the country too. We used the Matara office on the south coast near Galle/Mirissa. Much easier than getting to Colombo. Excellent service. Highly recommended

4 days into a 16 day guided tour of south and east of Sri Lanka and can say it has been excellent. Guide is very very good, bus driver is even better. Accommodation has been excellent as well all recommended by Aitken Spence. The know Sri Lanka.

Corporate head office of the one of leading conglomerates in Sri Lanka. There are two towers and hundreds of Companies inside the premises. Sufficient car parking spaces available inside the premises, but you can park along the read too for a small fee if you're visiting the place for a short period of time.

We went on a multi-day tour through Sri Lanka as a couple. Our guide Deepthi was very friendly and accommodating, looked after us very well and took our wishes into account. We learned a lot about the country and the people and would love to come back.

Excellent tour operators! They created an in-depth 7 day trip for us with customizations and last minute changes as we requested. They were fairly responsive during the trip even though it was a long holiday. Paired us with a very good driver who was very knowledgeable and fun. Ask for Athula if possible.

I am currently on a tour in Sri Lanka and am having a fantastic time. The tour group is only 10, but we feel very safe and are loving every minute of the tour. I would recommend coming to Sri Lanka.

I just got back from a 8 night trip.to.Sri Lanka and was super.amazed by Mr Thilanka from Aitken Spence. Of course the tour was good. However what impressed me.most was , --about a week before the tour I thought I need to cancel , I had already paid 100%. Thilanka spoke to the hotel and got me a 100 percent refund !!! . We were so.impressed. However, we then proceeded with the tour as planned and had a magnificent time !
