Good hotel situated in Colombo.. Feel like rooms or rather apartments could be better for the price. But still worth 5 starts. Nothing fancy going on in the rooms. Have basic amenities. They do not have a microwave inside the room but you can call them and ask for one without any charge. A rather private hotel for the guests to stay without much outside people coming in unlike the other restaurants which have restaurants. Ample parking is available in the parking section and the staff guides you from the moment you enter. This is a rather small hotel.compared to others located in colombo. But a good one. It has a Condo or apartment vibe to it rather than a garden vibe. A good place to stay.

A very nice and calm place in the middle of the busy Colombo city. I spent four nights with few other team mates. This is a very good place to organize workshops and small gatherings. Their service is very good. Rooms were very clean and tidy with daily house keeping. Food at flow restaurant was amazing. Room dining available at request. The team from front office to restaurant to housekeeping all were very friendly and helpful

Had awesome time with my friends. Good place to chill and have meals. Atmosphere is calm. We had multiple parties of our company too. The staff is very helpful and well trained. Banquet halls are good. It is just building type location, so no outdoor space available like other hotels.

Went to a wedding ceremony (Dec 2021) at the Union Ballroom. At the entrance they check you and the vehicle with metal detector and you'll first see the back entrance of Union ballroom. They have ample parking space at floors above. The hotel is located at a much busy location in Colombo unlike most five star hotels which are close to coastal line (Galle Face). The staff adheres to Covid 19 protocols. The welcome drink was superb (Apple juice) unfortunately didn't get the chance to taste their food. The size of the hall is small compared to other luxury hotels in Colombo. Photos below are of the Union Ballroom.

We had a lovely stay. The food was good both at pool side and in the main restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful in all parts of the hotel. The decoration for the season and by the pool were lovely (lots of people doing photoshoots or taking personal photos in various locations around the hotel). The beds were so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning, but the yummy breakfast with excellent selections was well worth leaving the extreme comfort of the bed. Breakfast was simply delicious. Would stay again without hesitation.

Hilton as the name says , this hotel too is highly recommended. Nice clean big rooms , centrally located, good food. Reception staff is excellent and very accommodative. If I go to Srilanka anytime soon , will look forward to stay in Hilton again

This is a beautiful hotel. It’s clean and has a lot of comfort items to make you feel comfortable such as a large pool, a gym, bar. We’re in town for a stressful event and coming back to this room was very peaceful. Variety of food. Well trained and friendly staff. We'll definitely come again. Had a great experience .

I had an amazing one month stay at the Hilton Colombo Residences! All of the staff were attentive, courteous, and extremely helpful. Every request I had was answered promptly, and addressed with the most professional staff. Breakfast was amazing everyday and the staff went above any beyond. The place is very convenient to access by bus. The foods are really Excellent I really enjoyed the foods which I had here 👍👍👌😊. Toilets are also fine. Security also very supportive and mindful. They protect environment by providing water in glass bottles. Desert is really tasty, specially pudding and 🍰. Almost I just love this place. I recommend everyone to this restaurant come & enjoy your holidays here with safe and beautiful restaurant

We stayed at their Penthouse, floor 32. Wonderful experience. The hotel has really good facilities including a pool. The rooms were big, clean and well kept. The service from staff were friendly and polite. We didn’t have a SL adapter and the hotel staff got one for us! Overall our stay was very nice.

Nice and neat places. Staffs are very friendly but the chefs lol. I love the desserts very delicious. Plenty of spaces. However, not enough meals for the main course. Starters are good too.

With most hotel prices going up, this was the best choice for a large family. I was very happy to choose this. They provide 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom suites. Breakfast starts early, staff was very courteous and kind, rooms were clean, pers are allowed. In order to accommodate us better, they helped us extend our checkout time twice, and also advance our checkin time so that we don't have to keep our children waiting. Overall, highly recommend for large families.

Hilton Colombo residence is one of the best places for a stay. I checked in to the hotel for our honeymoon stay we we both were super satisfied with the services they provided us! I must say that the food is gorgeous over there and are served in large portions which is really worthy for the money we spent. The hotel ambiance and cleanliness too was in great quality! Highly recommended!

Love this place, especially when I want to spend time with friends and family when we don't feel like heading out of Colombo. Friendly staff, Clean Apartments, Practical Gym and reasonable pricing for food too. Definitely one of my go to places in Colombo apart from Hilton Colombo. Hospitality of staff here is amazing. From the chef to pool to front desk are the friendliest and the most helpful I have ever experienced. Specially Chef Rohan and his team went out of their way to make us feel like home. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Swimming pool was amazing. Kids and us had a very enjoyable time. Make sure you book the breakfast here. Choices are limitless. Kudos to the management here for running the entire hotel so smoothly during a difficult time for Sri Lanka. They really make you trust the ‘Hilton’ brand. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sri Lanka or staying long term.

My family and I recently stayed at the Hilton Apartments for a week. We were very happy with our room, the cleanliness and the delicious buffet breakfast. Rohan/chef cooked us lentils every morning to suit my mothers pallet (no spice). The staffs attention to detail was on point and very courteous. Special thanks to Raj for his friendly service every morning at breakfast. Nothing was ever too hard for the staff especially with our 18 month old baby. We will be back again. Thank you! Had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Colombo Residence. Got the 3 bedroom suite. Was well worth it! Very clean and staff were helpful and friendly. The food was tasty, lots of variety at the breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay here again.

We have the event on last week in your Hotel. Hopefully we had made several events and we choose diamond package, it is the best package of the menu. We confirmed the all the things in our side and Hotel coordinator confirmed us what they provide on that day. The place of privacy, chair arrangement, general x-mas decoration and buffet what we ordered etc. But we observe on that day there were some delay serving and they open commonly the place of coridoor to another party event and also Barmen was not treated in good manner and he drunk much. So we got upset and our friends were unable to enjoy the time in the last event. Our privacy was not there. And also they missed to serve what we ordered early and they don't arrange the bite menu. We missed the party time without bites liquor and also our privacy. Hence we totally disappointed and we did not expect the way of service in reputed Hotel. Sorry to say these. It is our duty to bring issues to you to correct and to provide better service next time.

I’ve always loved staying at Hilton . I’ve had so many memories there as I grew from a kid to a teen and I’ve enjoyed the atmosphere of the Residence very much . The staff has been very nice to us especially , the reception / magic call center , the room service , room cleaning , the pool attendants and especially the chefs to everybody in the staff at breakfast buffets and many more great people working at Hilton Residences . The flow restaurant is one of the best in Colombo. The staff at this place are all great! They all go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Wide range of food consisting various cuisines were made to perfection. The kids area was full of activities for the kids. Hands down the best we've experienced in a while. Highly recommended....

I went to this Hotel on the 25th December to take part in a wedding ceremony of a relative. I was utterly disgusted over the food which are really not tasty. Black pork curry didn't have even salt. Nearly 4 and 5 years ago I had my son and daughter's wedding at this place. Food was tasty and the displays in both occasions were really good. Weddings were in the main ballroom.

It was a very good place to calm your mind. Very relaxing vibe all around the hotel. Hospitality and service is excellent. Pool is very clean and all staff members were really helpful in meeting our requirements. We stayed in duplex rooms which are very spacious. Dinner and breakfast buffet can be improved but lunch was fine. Had many options for desserts.

Our company had a party here. All our staff were very happy with their service. They arranged everything to our expectations. The food was great, there was a lot of variety. This is the best residential hotel in Colombo - no doubt about it. The rooms are spacious 2 or 3 bedroom apartments. It is a bit outdated - the building is older than other high-end hotels in Colombo, but the exceptional service and the friendly staff is a fair “compensation” It also has the best hotel breakfast in town - so I am told by others. Personally, I never felt the need to go elsewhere ;-)

We stayed for five nights recently with our children and found the place to be very convenient and clean. The staff was always very friendly, courteous and helpful at all times. The place is very efficiently run, with good team leaders. We also liked the fact that it had good security. All in all, one of the best places to stay if you're visiting Colombo!

The rooms are spacious and with a great view overlooking the TV tower of Colombo. Try and choose the higher floors for a better view. Be aware though that the lifts are pretty slow.

We joined for a breakfast buffet at FLOW restaurant to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday. Food was great. There were ample food options from western to local. The staff surprised her with a cake. There is a craft area for kids where they can decorate their own doughnuts. Video game console is there to keep the kids occupied.

The hotel upgraded us to a bigger room after seeing we were traveling with someone in a wheelchair. This was very helpful since the room was very spacious and the wheelchair could easily move around in the living room. The walk in shower was also convenient for those in a wheelchair. The hotel did not have a shower chair or walker if that is something you need for your visit. We had an amazing view the Tulip Tower and we were very close to a couple of supermarkets. We opted for the breakfast and dinner package and it was very convenient. If we were unable to eat breakfast there due to an early morning day trip, the hotel packed us a breakfast to take with us.

Had a great time with the family. The family apartment was a complete apartment with all facilities, quite spacious, clean and a great place to relax after a tiresome day. The view is stunning, specially at night and in the morning. Prices are reasonable compared to anything else nearby. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Great breakfast buffet. No complaints at all.

The Hilton residences, though one of the best in the business - this property fell short of my expectations. I came here hoping for peace and quite but I was met with intrusive staff and an intrusive culture of service. I've never been this disturbed or interrupted during my stay at a hotel. The staff too during room service will walk straight into your room even if you ask them not to or to stay put at a certain part of the room. The food is good quality and so are the rooms luxurious but this attitude you are met with, of the staff, spoils the whole fun. It feels uncomfortable to be a guest at this hotel - like you're always under watch and suspicion of either needing something at every second or you're unable to pay your bill so much pay at every single order and they will keep coming back with change so basically your whole day at this hotel is opening and closing the door for the staff and payments / exchanges. It's located at a decent place, posh area with a good souvenir shop nearby, more than standard rates at the shop.

The place was dated - all apartments are designed differently. The three we got were outdated. The views were great, though. The swimming pool is fantastic, and the evening was pleasant to enjoy the pool side snacks. The breakfast buffet was great. Huge spread. They even allowed to take some fruits upstairs for our grandparents. That was great service.

Great place to stay for a family. Spacious rooms, great service and awesome buffet breakfast. Not a luxury hotel but a very convenient one.

Gym equipment was not cleaned after the customers used the equipment. The rooms desperately need an upgrade especially the living room sofa and chairs, kitchen area/cabinets and laundry room (dreadful, dark and scary) Security needs to be addressed! During COVID times cleanliness of public spaces, i.e. sofa in the lobby, gym and pool area need to be given more attention. Clients had their dogs walking on top of the lobby sofas!

Probably the only hotel in Colombo where from the security guard, lift operator, house keeping staff to every other staff member stops and give a proper greeting with a smile. Obviously the higher ups at Hilton aren't underestimating the power of a genuine greeting. This is what set Hilton apart from every other company/hotel, especially in Sri Lanka.

We had a cake delivered from Jaic Hilton for my mom's birthday. It was a complementary gift she received from her bank. We received it on Friday and refrigerated it when we tried to have it the next day it had a very bad oily taste which almost felt like it was oozing oil. I called Kasun from the hotel to inform them about this along with photos. After one whole day they are still trying to figure out when it was delivered to the bank and who delivered it to us. I mean would a bank store cakes for days in their fridge in order to deliver cakes? Kasun agreed that the cake was indeed from their restaurant FLOW however was giving excuses mentioning he does not know how it happened. End of the discussion he asked me to check with the bank. Can a cake go bad in just a day? In that case the hotel had this cake in their shelves for many days before it was delivered. I expected a better service from a five star hotel chain. Atleast for a simple thing like a chocolate chip cake. As other Colombo hotel chains have always provided exceptional service.

We attended a wedding last week of Naveed Nawaz wedding it was well organised and the food an International Buffet was marvellous a good spread of meat and vegetable and gorgeous spread of dessert can give five star for the staff and food I have another wedding to attend this Saturday 5th dinner

Great place for long-term family stays.

Have been to the Jaic (Hilton Colombo Residences) for meals/meet up as well as events. Neat and clean premises with good ballroom, polite and helpful staff and reasonably good meals (not comparable to Colombo Hilton; maybe since it is a different emphasis). Parking facilities could be improved however, the location in the city might be the reason for limited availability of parking although the staff makes a commendable effort to handle it within the inherent restrictions of space.

Reliable & trustworthy service is guaranteed always. Better drop with prior booking.

Hilton Colombo Residences offers comfortable and spacious accommodation and my family has stayed there many times. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff are always extra friendly. Having a kitchen and laundry in the suite is very helpful, although it is short of utensils and cleaning supplies and these would need to be purchased at a nearby shop for those planning a longer stay. Our kids love the pool and playground, and the gym is quite adequate too (if a bit small). The nearby Cargill's is great for groceries and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Booked a 2 bed suite and was upgraded to 3 bed. Room on 24th floor, view over the city. Suite was very large, the furniture was a little scratched and scuffed. The curtains didn't close fully in the main bedroom, letting in light both ends and the middle. The en suite bathroom shower from the master bedroom filled with water immediately starting to shower due to poor drainage. Toiletries provided were great. We also had a complimentary bowl of fruit and bottle of wine. Breakfast was rather disorganised, with some things to help yourself some only the staff could serve. Service was slow when ordering food. Outdoor pool was great. All of the staff were exemplary in their service and attitude.

Had a fantastic stay as usual, the GM Linda and get Team have a done a fantastic job to keep the property operating well despite the challenges these days. Looking forward to coming back. Good job team

My wedding was held in 2019at Jaic Hilton. The package was included a complimentary dinner for our 1st wedding anniversary, but we could not make it coz of covid during 2020 and 2021. I just made a request whether is it possible to get it this year June. The handling person Mr. Bashitha offered us the same as per my request on the 25th of June at Flow Restaurant. I really want to thank the whole staff and the team as they were really supportive and helpful. Brilliant and excellent service. Thanks a lot for the support 👍👍

Great food & pastry from the basico bar lounge. Highly satisfied with the staff attention during the stays & especial thanks to the floor manage Mr.Kasun & pastry chef for there personal attention during the cakes / pastry orders. There are two Hilton in Colombo and this is the residences not hotel (I mistook it for the hotel). Stayed for one night. The apartment is huge but a bit old. Somehow the balcony was locked. Kitchen definitely needs to be cleaned before anyone wants to cook there. Large selection of breakfast. But prob won’t stay there again

Location, service, room and food are EXCEPTIONAL! I didn’t expect at all from all the staffs that were so welcoming and helpful, especially I was going with my very active dog. The room is good! The bed is so comfortable! The view is great! Also, I didn’t expect they have a very good breakfast! This is the second hotel in Colombo, I would say that I love their breakfast! I’m over the moon that I found a hotel that is pet friendly! Especially in Colombo. Defo will come back again, again and again, short and long stay!

I went for a dinner with my family on last Saturday to the international buffet. In comparison to the other hotels in the same class, food was just average without much variation. I was surprized to notice that, they do not offer hand glouses in the restaurent to avoid contact as a covid precaution! Every guests were handling spoons etc with there bare hands. I wish none of them were covid positive. However, the staff was really attentive and polite.

Nice and cozy place in heart of Colombo. They have two places to hangout. You can choose the ground floor pub area or you can got to the pool area in 3rd floor. There is a small difference in the menus in both places but its not an big issues. Sometimes ground floor might be crowded. So checkout the pool area. Food is amazing here. If you are a pork lover you must try their devilled pepper pork. Damn! It was amazing. They also have happy hour staring from 6-8. Waiting time is also minimal. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Had my sister's wedding here.. Very good communication and service by the banquet management... You get apartments (not rooms) to book with reasonable pricing. The pub downstairs is also highly recommended! Cheers..

Me and my family attended one of our cousin's son's wedding home coming (Waleema) reception at the ballroom last night. I must say a big thank you to the banquet operations staff. They are above exceptional. So attentive, very quick and helpful staff. I have never seen such calibre staff during weddings where I have attended in many hotels. The food was so awesome. Hats off to the staff and all the very best.

An upmarket destination with stylish setting, it's very safe and secure Has ample parking space

We didn't live in this hotel as guests but came to swim in their outdoor pool. The price is 2000 LKR per person for the pool only, or 2500 LKR in case you want to use saunas, jacuzzi, gym additionally. They provide towels, and you can use changing rooms/shower. The pool is large and clean and probably is in the shade after 1 pm. In general, it's a good price/quality ratio, my recommendation!

The function was by the poolside. The food was of standard n with choice. However, the WC was in a far corner, though was spacious inside.

Stay was undoubtedly very good but the food could have been better. We ordered a couple of times through in room dining and it wasn’t up to the mark. It wasn’t hot and fresh is what we felt. But the housekeeping staffs were just brilliant. Especially ‘Vihanga’ who was very kind and cleaned our rooms to perfection. Big thank you to him and we really need more people like him.
