Super clean spacious rooms, piping hot showers and cloud beds, this place made us feel right at home for the first time in Sri Lanka. The place has a cosy little zen garden, great art everywhere and an impeccable music selection on their computer. Definitely stay here on your trip to Colombo and make sure to check out the barefoot and gallery cafes just a stones throw away. πŸ”πŸ™ŒπŸ½β€

Really nice place for a shared accommodation aimed at backpackers. The room was spacious, the bunks were on heavy steel frames so you weren't disturbed by your bunk mate and the bathrooms were clean and shower heads decent. They provided free water and WiFi as well as have a very nice air conditioned common area to chill in. The host was very nice and helpful. Would not hesitate to come back.

It is a small cozy place with a homely atmosphere. Location is very convenient and close to shops and malls. Place is clean and your room get cleaned daily. Bedrooms are spacious with simple design. My first bedroom had a mould smell so they upgraded my room with no extra charge. The shared sitting area has a water cooler and an apple computer for everyone's use. The kitchen is open to everyone and you can even put your food in the fridge. Staff are all extremely helpful and friendly and special thanks to all. Only thing I can complain about is the early noises and music playing in the place but other than that all is great.

The best service is responsive service, reactive service. The staff here at Moss are very friendly and willing to accommodate the needs of the guest. Initially, there was a language/cultural barrier, but once overcome (with a smile here and there, and a chat about cricket) the needs of most customers will be exceeded. Going above and beyond to satisfy the guest seems to be a pleasure to them. And it is a pleasure to see. Location; great. Rooms; well equipped (although, maybe a bit more storage space for long stay guests). Bathroom; very modern, shampoo and body wash provided, HOT water available. Missing an extractor fan, but they seemed willing to install one upon request. Bed is large (in the King room) and comfy, and the room has both a ceiling fan and a modern AC unit. TV with satellite channels (mostly local, but incl. Discovery, NatGeo, CNN, Al Jazeera, etc). I could go on, but one needs to see this place in person. Go on, you deserve a bit of luxury :)

Really nice, clean and modern place to stay in Colombo. The staff were very friendly, and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay here, we'd been staying at budget places in Sri Lanka, but for our last two nights we spent a little more to stay here and it was a great decision! Our shower was amazing!

Visited in Jan 2017. This is a modern B&B, chilled out and clean. Rooms well equipped with basics and modern bathroom / showers. Situated conveniently for site seeing and getting to all quarters of Colombo. Staff were efficient and polite. Excellent value.

Didn't quite meet expectations according to pictures, but still a good place to stay for a night. Staff was friendly and professional. Good location.

Nicely presented, modern, clean and tidy if a little basic. Our room was right next to the lobby and for whatever reason the night porter thought it was ok to have music blasting at 4am. I had to go out and turn it off myself after asking nicely 2 times so I could get some sleep. Breakfast was pretty good but a bit overpriced.

This place is one of the cleanest places I've been to in Sri Lanka! Their washroom is excellent and the floors weren't dusty! I always see the staff cleaning, which is a good! They're also very nice and help when needed! I would call the decor "Sri Lankan Modern Minimalist" as it has everything you need without over cluttering. The room was spacious and the artwork is quirky. They have a lobby with couches as well an iMac to use and filtered water for your tea/coffee/bottle. Their smoothie bowls are really good Their breakfast is what I'd expect from a guesthouse. Coffee needs improvement. Even though they don't have front desk staff at night, they do have a security guard there 24/7. Overall, I would recommend this place!

Such a great little boutique hotel. Awesome location in a quiet leafy area (near embassies) and great clean and contemporary rooms. Staff are very helpful. Great sitting areas and good value for money. Only criticism is it is very difficult to find - it would be helpful if a sign was out the front on the main road to advise of the location out the back of the alleyway.

Great place to stay. Thanks to Arshad the manager for sorting me out with a taxi to see Sigariya and take me to the airport afterwards. Really comfortable rooms with great artwork and green plants make you feel at peace

Absolutley beautifully designed place, very centred to everything you need! The staff are super kind! Breakfast is Devine! Beds 10/10 , bathrooms 10/10. Vibe is so peaceful! The garden is lush! I really will stay every time we come back to Sri Lanka! We came with our two year old! We loved it! The staff were so friendly to her and all of us! Perfect before taking of to a surf location or a far away destination! Really recommend it to everyone! 🌴

I really loved the dΓ©cor of the place - it was a pleasure to be there. The staff are also really friendly and helpful. The area is really quiet and free from traffic noise too, which is a big plus. :)

πŸ‘ It's a little dark inside, but it's comfortable and cosy. There is also an outdoor table, so if the indoor space is stuffy, it is good to enjoy the exotic atmosphere at the outdoor table. Food and coffee is normal. But, if you’re a coffee and cafes lover, I recommend you to stop by.
