What an awesome little boutique hotel this is. Clean and lovely room with some of the most friendly staff you could ever find. The food prepared in their small kitchen is extremely tasty and priced well. It’s a quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of Colombo, and yet still only a short tuktuk ride away from anything you’d want to see. We were so happy with Halcyon House we regretted that we had to leave.

Very nice small hotel with lovely and supportive staff. Room was beautiful and clean. It also had a safe. Breakfast was nicely prepared with a choice of differently cooked eggs, fruits and bread. Location is a bit off the main Colombo attractions but easy to reach with tuktuk.

It's a family own Hotel with 5 rooms. The location is very nice to do shopping and side seeing. The rooms are ok for sleeping and the common area to meet the other guests. Breakfast is with fresh fruits and local warm food. The power plugs are British the owner want to install international ones soon.

Price is low. But facilities are good. Nice place. Bathrooms are small. But fitting are grate. No TV. Out side noise is disturbing to guests. But overall it's a good place.

Fabulous new place. Love it . The environment is so soothing because there are no crowds yet. And the drinks and food prices are very reasonable compared most colombo coffee houses. The diffrent juice on offer there and quite unique.

My stay was cut off short but I truly loved this place! The rooms were very spacious and perfect for long stays. It was located around many restaurants (and Uber Eats was also an options). They have breakfast, which is meant to be amazing but didn’t have the chance to try it. Nevindi was extremely kind and was available at all times to offer her help. I truly recommend Halcyon House to everyone! Such a great place.

Beautiful Place, Friendly stuff, GREAT price for value, not far from center, but yes, far from street noise, peaceful tranquil environment, room clean, nicely decorated. Really enjoyed their fruit plate in the morning breakfast! Definitely coming back on our next visit to Colombo. Highly Recommended.

I order the Family room for two kids and two adults ,But there was just one double bed (not a king sized) and a sofa . The prices donot includes breakfast ,Donot provide bed teas ,instead they have kept a kettle with coffee and sugar packs ,But not sufficient.Bathroom is poorly ventilated. The family room faces directly to the car park and so much noisy .Even the staff and guests were talking loudly around mid night .The staff was really good and helpful .There were so many tiny ants came at the mid night

This place is really beautiful and well maintained ! The staff are very helpful , the guy even helped me call a Tuk Tuk . The room we had was huge and spacious with a nice comfy bed and a spacious living room ! They even had good breakfast . Their place is lovely and comfortable and very close to any place in Colombo. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone ! Worth the price .

Booked them through airbnb. People there are friendly which is the only good thing i can say about the place. The tv didnt work and they couldn't get it working. One of the air conditioners were not working and again couldnt be fixed. Welcome drinks had dead ants in it. the room had mould all over. Wifi not working as well. We ended up requesting for a refund and they were nice enough to accomodate our request. It ruined our stay. Would not recommend.

We stay one night before flyng and the room was clean and well prepared. We have the flight in the evening so we ask at the reception if we can leave our baggage in the afternoon and at what hour we have to do the check out. The man said that the room is available until 4 pm with any additional cost . after we went for a trip to the city centre and come back around 14 pm . few minute later a new receptionist come to our Room and said that we have to leave hurry because the room was reserved for other client and we passed the chek out time . for this problem the receptionist said we have to pay 25 dollars for penalty.we explained that his collaborator talk with us and give to us the possibility to stay until 4 pm but the new receptionist said that he knows that the problem come from his employee but we have to pay. Unacceptable
