The highest quality accommodation. Provided everything we needed, including extremely valuable advice. Room, bathroom and the house were immaculate and breakfast was fit for royalty. We felt very well looked after.

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our Sri Lanka adventure and are so happy we did! Glenn and his family have helped us to understand the country and guided us for the next steps of our journey. Sita's breakfasts were fantastic. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever known and everyone so relaxed and clean and refreshing, perfect oasis from the hot Colombo sun!

Perfect stay, lovely hosts, perfect location, yummy breakfast and beautiful house ! My husband and I had a fantastic stay at 27 Spathodea - Oasis in the city as it absolutely an oasis in the crowded city of Colombo. Fiona and Glenn were amazing hosts, they are passionate, they gave us some tips like where to go in the city, they are very social and you can feel that it is a true pleasure for them to meet people from all around the world. The house is a masterpiece, freshly renovated with so much charm and decorate with taste. The room was perfectly clean, mattress reaaaally confortable, the breakfast was fresh, local-western and very tasty (special mention to Seetha the house keeper ;)) We loved our stay which was probably the best we had in Colombo even compared to highest ranked accomodations like 3 or 4 stars hotels, we warmly recommend 27 Spathodea - Oasis in the city so guys don't hesitate to book your stay there you'll enjoy it so much !! Exceptional. It really is an oasis, so well named. Brilliant breakfast, host goes to way too much trouble! Also waited up for us at 2:30 am arrival, and a few days later a 5:30am departure, with breakfast ready! Glenn and Leona amazingly helpful in every way imaginable.

Definitely a place to stay if you are in Colombo. High end hotel comfort for a fair price. And lovely garden outside your window. The breakfast was the best among all hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka. The soundproofing is not good, which is typical for all guesthouses in Sri Lanka. If you are lucky to get coconut sambal for your breakfast enjoy it, since it's better than in any restaurant (including expensive ones). Since hotels in Sri Lanka are somehow surprisingly good at not meeting your expectations regarding the conditions of your stay, I'd recommend this place because it doesn't disappoint you with unexpected flaws

We stayed here the first night of our two week stay in Sri Lanka. Perfect place to start your trip! Very clean and quite and close to everything in Colombo (by Tuktuk). Glenn have us a lot of helpful recommendations and advice about Sri Lanka and Colombo. Breakfast was very very tasty.

Lovely little bed and breakfast about 40 mins drive from the airport. The breakfast was good too - fresh fruit platter and eggs cooked to your liking on request. We only stayed one night but the owner Greg helped us arrange a driver for our entire trip which was super helpful. I highly recommend. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the price is amazing !

Friendly villa style guest house, best breakfast in Colombo

Fiona greeted us very kindly, practical and welcoming at the same time. The house is a delight for the senses. Sita's breakfast was so good that we were looking forward to trying all her food. Glenn ia a Colombo's top guide: it was a real coach time because besides making us the planning after breakfast, we made an efficient circuit and with two restaurants above average (we went to eat and to dine to them). Our last day was great!
