Sakura Japanese restaurant was great. We ordered 5 dishes and they were really delicious. We ordered Sushi rolls which had the correct size, lemon and mint juice, dumplings, egg roll & chicken katsu. Every single dish was delicious except the egg roll. it needs to be more fluffy but this egg roll was too fried and it was little bit bitter. Over all our experience was great and would recommend it to everyone who would enjoy Japanese cuisine. Even the customer service was great.

This place shouldn't even count as a restaurant, serving horribly tasting food for extorting prices inside what feels like a dungeon. Good service though.

I tried Pork katusdon and seafood soup. The katusdon taste good and the quantity is enough for a single person. It has good quantity of meat. The seafood soup is thick as a chopsuey and quantity is large. Number of seafood is quit less :/ The soup is not worth the price. It was warm inside and I feel like a renovation should happen to the interior as it looks dilapidated.

Order seafood rice along with sweet and sour chicken with hot battered cuttlefish, was really good! I'll definitely order again.

The resturant used to be good but standards have gone down . Maybe lack of business might be the reason. I really enjoyed the calmness and quietness eating at this resturant because there were no other customers.

Over the years Kinjo Chinese has tried it best to maintain good quality Chinese food. The staff by and large remain the same this assuring consistency. There are many new restaurants that I have come up in Colombo but credit should be given to the team at Kinjo for continuing to serve great food . The restaurant as a whole needs sprucing up , the interior decor and lighting should be redone for sure .

Calm place for a perfect dine in and best food for fair price. Overall a good place for a hangout. Loved that experience.

The food was fine. Service also great. However they need to make effort to improve the atmosphere. It's an old building and doesn't feel good. Even we noticed a cockroach in the dining area. Toilets need to be clean. For the price they charge you don't get the overall satisfaction.

Only positive thing is the service other than that the rest is a Big No Go, Ordered the sushi platter no flavour, Ramen seafood full of mushrooms and hardly any seafood. Had to ask for soya sauce and they just served it in a little plate unlike before they used to have the bottle on the table. No flavour not like it used to be, hope they will up their standards.

Food was excellent. Really a nice place. Car parking was available too. Service was excellent and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Definitely will go again.

My intention for writing this is to give some positive feed back on a great restaurant which has been under rated in this extremely competitive industry. We visited the restaurant after so long. To our amaze we were greeted by the manager Mr. Trevor Liveira who has been working there for over 32 years! The restaurant was extremely quiet and there was only one other table which was occupied. We were a bit skeptical about what to order because it’s been so long since we last visited this place. Off late I have seen for some unfortunate reason most of the pioneer restaurants are struggling to survive these days. The manager was very attentive and recommended some dishes for us based on our preferences and I must say the food was excellent despite how laid back the setup was. It’s a pity people aren’t going to this place much. I decided to write this note mainly to let people know food in here is still amazing and the prices are also decent enough. It was definitely value for money. Two of us ate two full meals for about RS.5200 which I think is quite alright given it’s proper Japanese and Chinese !!

Service is fairly ok but quality of the food has gone down drastically... too much of sayda sauce was used for dishes..

Great Chinese food and Japanese food. Although the ambiance of the restaurant is quite old the food here is amazingly good! They serve the food quite fast and their quality is quite consistent.

The best chinese and Japanese restaurant in srilanka. Food came in 15 minutes of ordering. And not many people here. Customer service is good. Calm place. Recommended to anyone.
