I recently visited Dhawalagiri Restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I feel compelled to share my honest feedback to help others make informed decisions. First and foremost, the hygiene standards at Dhawalagiri Restaurant were disheartening. I observed the staff using their bare hands to handle food and place it directly onto plates. Furthermore, the tables were noticeably unclean, which significantly impacted my dining experience. The service at Dhawalagiri Restaurant was a major letdown. Throughout my visit, I felt neglected and overlooked. Despite sitting at my table for a considerable amount of time, no waiter came to attend to me or even acknowledge my presence. The lack of attention and indifference from the staff were disappointing, to say the least. It was evident that the establishment was understaffed or poorly managed. Another aspect that contributed to my dissatisfaction was the lack of friendliness displayed by the staff. The overall atmosphere lacked warmth and hospitality, which is essential for a pleasant dining experience. Even after settling the bill, I had to endure an extended waiting period just to get the attention of a waiter. Such delays and disregard for customers' time are simply unacceptable. In conclusion, my visit to Dhawalagiri Restaurant was marred by subpar hygiene practices, unprofessional service, and an unwelcoming atmosphere. As a customer, I believe it is crucial for restaurants to prioritize cleanliness, attentive service, and a friendly ambiance. Sadly, Dhawalagiri Restaurant fell short in all these aspects during my visit. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and makes the necessary improvements for the sake of future patrons. It is my sincere hope that this review serves as constructive criticism and prompts positive changes in the restaurant's operations.

Dawalagiri restaurant is famous indian restaurant in Maradana since my childhood times. This is a good place for vegetarian foods; very close to the Maradana station.

I ordered chapathi from this place through Pickme Foods and I received spoiled food. Called Dhawalagiri expecting a solution but they hung up the phone. I believe they sent these intentionally because we can't return food after we pay for orders through Pickme. The person who answered the call didn't even respond politely. Poor food, bad customer service and on top of that, disgusting how they treat customers to save a couple of hundred Rupees.

Grate foods for low price. Highly recommend.

Foods are cheap and tasty. I have been few times. I wondered whether it holds any cleanings/ hygiene certificate or inspections going on frequently. Because since recently it's hygiene is not satisfactory. There are flys everywhere. bread kept on the floor. Inside ventilation is also poor.

Place is good but if they can rethink of how they can improve their payment systems. Currently customers need to pay the bill before it's consumed, it's not that easy what a customer going when entering the shop, business like this should ideally have a different method rather than this.

Perfect place walking distance by Maradana Railway station. This is a Vegetarian Restaurant they have both take away and the tables. Price range also reasonable. Very clean and Healthy food. Recommended to visit with family.

It is a very old restaurant. S po many generations have visited this restaurant when they were looking for a meal for a cheaper prize. The price factor has been revolutionised over the years. Now it is almost same prizes are being charged as any restaurant around the vicinity of Dawalagiri. Responsiveness of the restaurant is dependent on the waiters or waitresses who provide the service. They are a group whose turnover is very rapid. Some are paying considerable attention to the customers. One standout feature of their food is the bitter taste in Ulundu wade. It must be due to poor quality of cooking oil used by Dawalagiri. Waiters use bear hands in handling Dosai, Wade and all food items. Public Health Inspector in charge of this particular restaurant must look into the hygenic threats of this behaviour.

Since our Childhood, this is the one and only place where fulfill for hungry bellies. This is the Iconic landmark of Mardana. Everyone knows how taste their Thosei, Uludu wade, parata, and many more. Highly Recommend this place to every one who visiting to colombo. ❤️👍

Very unpleasant coustomer care.I took this food to take for Aluthgama.Threfore I requested an aditioal bag for extra safe.But the worker was refuse to provide me an additional bag.Again I requested an additional bag from the cashier.He also did same. I will never visit again.

I do like this place because of the freshness of foods there.. specially that milk. But we face a common issue in parking vehicłes near by. But the vegetarian concept is rarelý feeł to us. That is what we love. And ťhere is one other thing is fish tañk in the restaurent. They swim eveŕywhere.... very pleasent!!!
