Came to one up after more than three years. The iced latte was v.good. Loved that they put coffee cubes so that it doesn’t get watered down. We had the stone the flaming chooks (2950) portion was big and enough for two to share. Can’t really comment about price considering the current situation

Updated review from Nov visit: Small place, parking is challenging depending on the time of the day, cosy, tasty food and drinks (hot and cold coffees etc). Food and beverages look very good, the presentation is excellent. Very limited options and food is costly compared to other places with much less offered. Like traditional eng breakfast type doesn't even offer sausages etc. Bacon benny costs like 4k. Cost us around 6k each for food and coffee. If they get busy, the limited staffing effect impacts your experience. Older review from 4 years ago: First visit, impressed. Great coffee, good breakfast, and good service. The ambience, presentation of the food etc were excellent. Pricing was okay, definitely in the upper range. I think there was a decent variety of food, didn't see anything that was a fusion of Sri Lankan cuisine, and for a big breakfast eater, could have used a slightly bigger portion/or availability of more starch options. Location is a bit weird getting to, great that they have parking, the lane can get a bit difficult to get out of because of all the vehicles parked on the street. Do give it a go, will definitely go again!

A cozy restaurant with some great tasting food! 😍🥰😋!!! Loved the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly 🤗 it was such a pleasant experience from the start itself. Oneup knows how to do the perfect EGGS Benedict 🥚⏲️🤩 and their pancakes 🥞 are to die for. 🥰 the food comes out from the kitchen as works of art, so it’s hard to convince to eat 😄 Make sure you are not in a rush. Good food takes love ❤️ and time 🕰️. The whole family enjoyed and will be back again! 🤩👍

Cute little breakfast joint in Colombo. It’s an all day breakfast restaurant. Amazing food menu. A little taste of Australian breakfast right here in Sri Lanka. Prices are reasonable. I tried the Eggs Benny with crab (a Sri Lankan twist). Absolutely loved it. Love their concept. Very friendly and quick service. The place is nice and clean. Recommend it for catch ups with your friend or partner. We need more of these in Sri Lanka.

Came in on a Saturday morning around 11. Got a table right away. No reservations here, just walk ins. Smoothies are really good, options of cow's or coconut milk. Great coffee. Menu covers sweet to savoury and everything in between, with sides. Attentive well spoken service. Nice to see this place back up and running. Avg bill here 1 dish and 1 beverage per person came to approx 5.25k Def going back for the French toast, fried chicken and syrup 😊

Nice atmosphere, love the ambience. Great food and love their coffee 😍. It’s a bit pricey but totally worth it. The space is quite small, and they do have parking. One of my favorite cafes in Colombo.

I have no idea how this place is rated as 4.4. We arrived at 9.50 am, ordered 2 coffees and 4 mains for brunch. Our coffees arrived after exactly 55 minutes and were perhaps the worst coffee we have had despite looking creamy and well done. After several reminders with the staff our mains came at different times over the next 1.5 hours. As tourists coming to Colombo with very limited time, we really didn’t have 1.5 hours to sit and wait for breakfast to arrive. Absolutely horrendous experience and I am only giving this 1 star because google doesn’t give you the option of 0 stars.

Never expected I can get this kind of pancakes here in Sri Lanka. The pancakes is so good! Still steamy hot inside after I took all the pictures of it. Tasty! And the portion is quite big, 4 pieces stacking up that you better sharing with your friends or fam. Fruits on the side with banana, strawberries and mango are fresh. Iced latte, so good too! You may need to take some times to enjoy, as you will need to wait for the coffee ice cubes to melt. The surrounding is nice! The bar table against to the window is the best place for you to take good pictures for the beautiful food and beverages! Go early! It’s always a full house!

Went there after a long spell. A few things have changed. That rush, crowded, feeling when they were at Kinross was not there. The lady in charge was calm and efficiently waited on all the tables with the help of one staff. The seating is limited and patrons want to sit for a long while. 😂. We ordered Mr. Benny and Stone the flaming chooks. Consistency in their menu items is what some of us prefer. You know exactly what you are getting and that is enough. Marsala chicken 🐔 was perfect with the rest of the fillings. I would have preferred the bread to be less roasted though. Tea and coffee - everything was right. Smooth service. In the current situation that amount of excellence is rare.

Amazing food, at what feels like the perfect brunch spot. The chicken sandwich is perfect in my opinion and the kimchi on it was just amazing. The pancake needs a warning, cause the portion size is huge, easily enough for two people. The service is nothing but amazing and the atmosphere is quite cozy. One if the most pleasant experiences I've had.

Plan to wait for the food. It's made from scratch. Ingredients are fresh and you can tell from the taste. The food was amazing! I loved every bite of it. Songs and vibes were nice too. It's about LKR 6000 for a main and a drink.

Very aesthetic interior, friendly staff, chilled atmosphere and most importantly amazing food! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

poor service. we made a reservation for two - yet had to waaaait to be seated. we both ordered chicken based dishes and was told much later that there was only 1 portion of chicken so one of us had to order something else. food took over 45 mins to arrive on the table. considering the exorbitant pricing was really disappointed.

The food isn’t bad, and the atmosphere is nice, but the prices absolutely ruin the experience. They are absolutely too high and not acceptable for the food you get. As of May 5th, 2022, two chicken tenders cost 1250 lkr. Just chicken tenders. There was nothing else. As any traveler knows, for this price, you can get a full Sri Lankan dinner in many other places. Don’t waste your money here, please.

Great good, iced coffee was amazing!

Tasty food made with quality ingredients. Food is a bit on the pricey side though. Went on a brunch date and our bill came to about 7k-which I thought was a bit too expensive for two; though considering the financial crisis and the hike in ingredient prices, I guess I shouldn't complain too much. The only thing I would change would be the richness of the hot chocolate. It felt more like a liquid dessert rather than a hot drink, and would have hit the spot if it was a little more diluted.

Dropped by here for breakfast and had the One-up Mr. Benny. Although a priced a little on the high side, it was amazing! The portion comes with a generous portion of smoked salmon and two beautifully poached eggs. Will definitely try some other thing items on the menu next time, heard great things about the pancakes.

Has been moved to a new location, has much better parking options now. The prices are a little on the steep side considering the size of the portions. Has a very soothing vibe to the place, quite a limited seating area, but has a sort of serenity to it. Good quality breakfast food, if you don't mind loosening your purse strings a little.

One of the Egg Benedict I ever have. Coffee is great too. We had tried many menu such French toast and sandwich. Limited menu but all is pleasant. Love to go back. Price is a bit high compare with buffet breakfast we had at hotel.
