This park seems like it has not got the spotlight on itself, unlike its other urban siblings. This is a nice park for a brisk walk or jog as it is not as crowded as the other famous city parks. Lovely tree lined path leading to a kids play area and a walking track aligning the lake, nice seating overlooking the lake to sit and chill 😍

Wonderful place. Very clean, spacious and a good environment to relax and let children play. Very beautiful surrounding. It is crowded during weekends but weekdays less crowd. A place to bond with your kids and family.

Well maintained, safe and beautiful children's park. It's totally free and maintained by municipal council. You can do children's photography events here. Recommend to come around 7am or after 4pm, as there is less shades here. It's hot at noon.

This is really calm place for jogging peacefully . And with nice atmosphere . And also children park available in here. So you can peacefully jog while your kids are playing

A children's park named "kelimandala" There is a jogging track too. But halfway of it is now under construction due to construction of adjoining building complex. The park seems like a small one from the road but the inside is widely spread and lots of shady areas are there. Several alternative play options are there. Visitors can feed the fish in the lake. Pop corn, ice cream, snacks and many other food items available in the stores within the premises. Prices are reasonable and the quality is average. The only weakness I see is the very limited parking space. You may sometimes have to wait for a parking lot in the evening of the weekends. Overall it is a great place to enjoy. Highly recommended!

I really love this place. I can say this park is one of the most fascinating parks in Sri Lanka. You can watch an amazing sunset. And this park has so many beautiful locations to do photoshoots as well. 5 stars for the amazing architecture.

It is a nice place for little kids to play around. So many child friendly activities are facilitated. They have been thoughtful to place a notice board which says 'differently abled children are given priority'. During the weekend it can get really crowded. There is also a walking track for the adults to use. There is a shop which sells snacks, ice cream, nescafe etc. Although there are several other places for potential shops they are all closed even during the weekend. And when it rains there is hardly any place for shelter which is the biggest shortcoming here. Close to the play area there are benches and places for the parents or caretakers to sit and wait while the kids played, however there is no shelter above so when it rains it gets really difficult to stay and one needs to go a long way looking for shelter. When it is sunny of course there are so many shady trees under which the benches are placed. It's such a beautiful place to expose the kids to nature too.

Yes, it's a good place to spend several hours.Parking costs as low as thirty rupees an hour.Washrooms, water, snacks are available. Lastly, I recommend going there morning or evening. There is strong sunlight in the afternoon. Also, evening gets more crowded.

Play items spread in a wide area to give more space to kids. 1+ years old kids can enjoy the area. There also few food stalls on site with seating area. Parking area also available. Attentive service & security team manage the site very well. During the weekends and public holidays it can be very crowded.

Great place for young kids. It was so nice to see a play area for differently able children to enjoy the swings, seesaw and play frame. Well maintained and clean. If you’re visiting between 10-3 take socks as the play area gets quite hot and little feet get burnt.

Place is still new, and still devoloping .good for quality family time .the children park is solid✔️ for kids. surrounding is nice and clean(lets keep it that way). Food is limited tho, only had 2 or 3 shops when i visited but hopefully more will open soon. Overall good place, and the fish spa wasnt that attractive for me so i didn't pay a visit. I recommend visiting at night time because the lights make the place more beautiful.
