We just had our worst experience with Athurugiriya Machan restaurant branch. As you can see we ordered a hot buttered mushrooms portion and according to the menu it should have 125g of mushroom in the dish. But what we got here is only a half of that portion. I have visited many machan branches and i know how the regular portion looks like. When we mentioned this to the waiter he said they prepare 2 plates from a single mushroom pack. I saw many ppl returned the orders as they got quite less for what they paid for. So if you want ppl to visit and have a good time there you have to correct this. You already lose me as a customer hope you won't lose anyone else

This place needs an upgrade pretty soon. It seemed Only 4 cars could be parked at a given time. Service was good yet it was a little delayed as only 02 servicemen was present. Plates were good but the portions were very little. Beers were well chilled but they didn't have cold beverages for teetotallers and had no ice cubes to offer!

Went with friends who wanted to drink. I don't drink but liked the seats near the water body. Food was not at all good. But compared to what you expect in a doggy bars, this is good. Service was not as hospitable as we thought. Just OK. Definitely good for an alcoholic who would like to sip beer or any common hard liqueur. We will go there again, knowing what to expect.

Yet another Machan restaurant from the chain. They only serve beer here as most of the other Machans. Food is good but portions are not that large. Calm and quiet place even it is situated in Busy Aturugiriya town. Opens at 11am and closes at 2pm, reopens at 5pm.

Ordered a seafood fried rice for 1217/- from uber. Got 3 bad smelling prawns and some left overs If you are around athurugiriya try coco”s restaurant. Malabe. Same size portion around 500/- if you pay 700/- for uber it’s still worth it.

Good to have a beer with a friend. Wednesday & Saturday musical band playing 18.30 onwards.

Overall experience wasn't good as the last time. I used to love their pepper pork dish but my last visit was really not that good. Portion was so small It was like chewing rubber bands. The quality of food has gone down drastically so I would not recommend this place to anyone I love or even anyone I hate.

It's your typical machan experience. There is nothing to write home about, but providing a consistent service across all Machan putlets is a good thing. Food is decent (except the mixed meat platter lol) and reasonably budget friendly. Overall, it's a good place to hang out with your friends on a budget.

This is the best restaurant in Athurugiriya. The taste and quality of the food is excellent. Customer service is also good. At Uber Eats, the food here is a bit more expensive, but you can also order food at retail prices from their Machan Eats app.

Very nice place to have dinner with a chilled beer. Typically less crowded place compare to the other branches.

Quality and quantity has dmgone way down. Not recommended as per recent experience. Hope they will bring the quality back soon before loosing customers

This place will supply alcohol after 9pm. Overall it is a good place to chilled up. Prices are higher than other normal liquor shops.
