I have been visiting this place for years. Their prices for coffee and some foods are very reasonable. Some may be not. (Example - Egg Salad Sandwich is my favorite and is very reasonably priced. The chicken rise did not have much chicken) The food is delicious though. The place seems to be not so well maintained. Needs a major renovation in the downstairs.

That’s one of my favorite coffee shop these days. It has very cool environment to work. Staffs are really friendly and professional. Also they have variety of foods and beverages. I specially like their caramel Frappuccino. Food is very fresh and tasty. I will highly recommend this place for the people who likes work in a relaxed environment.

Worst service and food ever had in the recent cafe encounters in Colombo. There were more than 10 staff standing in the kitchen area rushing for nothing. Sandwich we ordered served cold after 30 minutes from order. Flies everywhere. 5 flies were on my plate. Serious Health and Safety concern at this place. Too cluttered and messy. When complained to a little school boy like person at the till, he was like “yeah flies are here everywhere, what to do..🙄” tone. Management should place a trained persons in coffee shops. Customers lined up to complain for their food delays and shouted to get their orders. What a mess for the brand. Never recommend this place. Zero professional conduct. Zero customer service. Zero food quality.

Love their ambience and calm place structure. Good place to hang out with friends and work buddys. Food is great along with their shakes. They have power sockets , where you can charge your laptop and continue working.

Nonetheless, the quality was good, so it was worth the indulgence. I also sampled their bagels, and they were a highlight of the meal. They were very crispy and had a delightful taste. If you're a bagel lover, you won't be disappointed. In summary, Cafe Mocha by Barista offers a great atmosphere for working and studying, along with some tasty options on the menu. While the watermelon juice and pricing of certain items were a bit of a letdown, the bagels and lasagna were definitely worth trying. I'd recommend giving this cafe a visit for a cozy study or work session with some delicious snacks.

A super chill place to work at. The ambience is great and the food is not bad either. I got the special lunch deal with Lemongrass Chicken Rice and the Iced Latte. The rice was well cooked and the chicken was tender and the lemongrass was singing in the curry. Good dish. Avoid the iced latte. Was super watery and not a pleasant at all. I recommend the cappuccino instead if you're ordering the lunch deal. Will surely visit again if I get the chance to chill and work

First of all, the location itself is tricky. The door has no name of the shop and one might trip and fall down as there's a raised step at the door. The place is almost always full with people working on their laptops. They have seating in the upper & lower levels. Ambience is bad with weak air-conditioning. The water leaks from the AC unit. May be temps at about 30°C inside. The music was quite loud with beats, just takes the "cafe" vibe out of it. And there were flies. Staff needs a lot of training. Slow 🐌 service. They don't even bother to greet the customers. It took them literally 18mins to serve me a piece of cake that I ordered and paid for it to my table which was about 10 feet from the counter. Toilets 🚻 have a waiting line. I guess only one in premises. Didn't want to use it.

A regular but spacey coffee shop that serves the same coffee you find at barista outlets. The place: The specialty of this place is that its a coffee house rather than a shop. Its in this suburban townhouse with a gallery like effect inside and a slightly dark interior where multiple other shops are connecting the establishment. Mocha is a good place to concentrate on a college assignment or work mails while you sip on a lavazza coffee. 7/10 for the place. Food and Drinks: Its a café menu with sandwiches, pastas and croissants. Tried there rice once and it was a let down. There smoked chicken sandwich is pretty creamy and nice on the mouth but not filling enough. 7/10 for the food. Cleanliness: The servers usually come around to serve food and clean tables but their servers are usually new and shy to take action on their own. So they need a manager to overlook everything. I didn't find any problems with cleanliness in this coffee house. The shared bathroom was clean and stocked.

One of the best outlets of Barista and it has the best ambience compared to the other coffee shops. Love their interior and the new setting. It's quite a good place to hangout with bunch of friends or to read a book while grabbing a coffee.Good sandwiches. Nice strong coffee. They have a breakfast deal of a nicely grilled sandwich and a decent cup of coffee or pot of tea for Rs.250 to Rs.300 that is hard to beat. The staff is friendly and supportive.

I have been to this place multiple times. Highly recommended if you want to get some work done. They have many power outlets to charge laptops, plug routers, charge phones etc. At certain times it can get crowded and noisy(depending on the people who come). Food is great but a bit expensive for what you get. If you plan to stay for a long time here to work on something, this is a excellent spot 👍🏻.

Went with my friend to have a snack and the place was pretty nice. A relaxing ambience and the staff was good too. We got a cheesecake and a red velvet cake and they tasted delicious. The food is slightly expensive tho, not great for meals but a light snack.

The place is great to work/study while enjoying some fine coffee and food. There are a lot of tables with access to power outlets, and there's good WiFi. The service was a bit slow on a Saturday, but that's not always the case.

This is one of the best places to have your business meeting or study sessions if you want a cafe which has a nice atmosphere. We spend around 4 hours there and since we went on a Sunday evening, it was a bit crowded. We ordered strawberry mojito, watermelon juice, creamy chicken pasta, mushroom waffle and chocolate sauce waffle. Out of them mushroom waffle was the best and after seeing the delicious dish we forgot to take a picture also that’s why it’s not in my review pictures. 😃 The prices are also not bad compared to the portions and tasty of the food. We didn’t like chocolate sauce waffle a bit since it was too sweet for us. Creamy chicken pasta was also delicious compared to other cafes. Overall, I would say this is one of the best places to hang around since they have good food and a nice surrounding.

Good coffee and food but poor service. Ordered food and coffee - had to wait 30mins before being served food (I'm ok with this) but had to wait another 10mins for my coffee! There were 6 people working and it was a quiet day. Its quicker and easier to grow my own coffee beans.

Worst food I have ever had. Portions were just laughable and the taste was terrible. I had the pepper chicken submarine and it was so sad. Soggy bread, burnt chicken, the only fresh thing was the lettuce and cucumber. The sub was 580 and only about 4 inches long. Terrible experience. But the staff were very friendly and the atmospher was nice. It's just the food that was bad.

Quality has gone down. Got few muffins and told to warm and give... It was cold and muffin were sort of old and dry... Will not recommend...

My friends and I love going here after college! Really nice interior with a warm feeling through the space. They have a great lunch deal which is ideal for students on a budget. My favorite meal on the menu is the Chicken lasagna. Really filling and the taste is perfection! Staff is also extremely polite and helpful.
