Awesome joint! Right in front of Kolpity Macdonald's, if you are lucky parking space right in frontof the cafe (must pay). Small outlet compared to their other ones. Lovely interior designs. 3 staff members were working at the time of visit. Decent seating space available. Great place to chill out with friends. Or you can seat down and do your work with a cup of coffee and a cheese cake or a chocolate chip cookie. They have a huge variety of hot and cold coffees and shakes. Love their cheese cake collection. Bit pricey compared to other cafes but its worth it. They have sandwiches, pizzas, burgers and pastas. Staff needs to smile a bit more with customers (they looked tired)There is only one bathrooms for both men and women. I think free wifi is available. Firimi discounts available on selected days.

Overall a decent experience. However they don’t have milk alternatives . We had different teas and in three we spent 2550 lkr . We had: ☕️ English breakfast ☕️ earl gray ☕️chai tea

I recently visited Coffee Beans and Tea Leaves for the first time. The interior of the cafe was pleasing, creating a calm and quiet atmosphere. The comfortable seating arrangements and spacious layout added to the overall cafe vibe. The staff members were decent. decided to try the caramel latte and the mocha latte, accompanied by an Oreo cheesecake. It was my first experience with an Oreo cheesecake, and I must say, it was absolutely delicious. As for the lattes, the mocha latte didn't quite meet my expectations, as it had an intense chocolate flavor that might be overpowering for some. However, the caramel latte was enjoyable and well-made. It's worth mentioning that the prices at Coffee Beans and Tea Leaves are slightly on the expensive side, with the lattes priced around rs:1000. Cheesecake also around rs:1000. In conclusion, my overall experience was positive.

As their all other outlets, they have maintained the interior great with amazing coffee smell but the quality of some foods were not great and doesn’t match with the price. Never ask the bill without taking printed bill, because we went to have breakfast on 15th June 2019 and the lady who stood behind the cashier told 4000/= as our bill without giving us bill. Then we asked the bill, then after actual price (printed bill) was 2750/=, It might be a mistake but they have a responsibility. However we usually visit other outlet in the same chain, but they are much better than this.

The service is very poor. It was the worst coffee shop experience I have ever had. The staff was not helpful at all. They made me pick up the coffee myself and didn't serve it to our table, but they served the foreigners. The food is also very expensive. They made the iced coffee in a paper cup with too much ice. Coffee beans and tea leaves used to be my favorite here, but I couldn't go there for a while, yesterday I went and sad to see it has become the worst.

Great atmosphere, not crowded place.. I ordered iced vanilla latte for Rs.1580, but half of the cup is ice cubes only..

Disappointing coffee experience – The caffe latte fell short of expectations with low-quality espresso, frothy milk, and a lack of microfoam. The baristas seemed unfamiliar with proper coffee preparation. This pricier option in Colombo offers little value for money, especially for those seeking a quality coffee drink. Not recommended.

Horrible and overpriced. There is no wifi, no napkins, no sugar, no stirrers, no nothing. Was served the most disgusting microwaved days-old croissant (sold at an extortionate price of course) which had the consistency of a hard moldy biscuit. Their computers/billing system wasnt working so I was given a handwritten receipt (no idea if I was being overcharged or ripped off since there was no menu or price chart available). Also no one checked my or other customers temperatures on entry so obviously they are not bothered about covid health and safety regulations. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY here.

Had the white chocolate ice blend, tandoori chicken sandwich and mushroom pasta. The sandwich and pasta was subpar. Few tiny pieces of chicken thrown in. Pasta was much drier than the one they serve at the Horton place with only 3 or 4 pieces of mushroom. The drink was consistent though it comes with a shot of espresso, so if you don’t want that be sure to let them know. It was kind of understaffed so it took a while to get the food and later to ask them for some water. I guess in terms of food, CBTL at Horton place does it better for the same price. My favourite cafe out of every other.. no place can satisfy my taste buds like their Ice Blend drinks, one of my favourites being the Cookies & Cream Ice Blend (which is shown in the picture) which they previously had on the menu but not anymore which I got to know by my recent revisit but I tried out their Mocha (added chocolate) Ice Blend which is as good as the cookies and cream flavour therefore it did not disappoint me. I highly recommend trying it out ❤️👍🏼

This is my first time and it was a lovely experience! Staff also ok. (Not excellent customer care) Peaceful environment, Silent place... I love interior of this restaurant and drinks are also pretty good! Clean environment. Need to improve customer handling! Highly recommended ❤️

A decent place which is quiet and relaxing and it's perfect for a lazy meetup with friends or your significant other. The coffee here is amazing. I can vouch for the espresso with one shot of coffee with two sticks of brown sugar. If you're a connoisseur for coffee you could instantly tell the coffee beans used are premium and they are roasted just right. The tea however is a scam. I love tea and I was so disappointed when I saw the tea bag... I asked for an Earl Grey with hopes that they may have the proper tea like the Brits drink but I got served with a tea bag that has some cheap BOPF tea. As for the price, I believe the coffee is very well priced, considering it's premium beans but for the tea - well that's a different story. The whole pack of Earl Grey tea bags from the brand they used costs less than the cup of Earl Grey itself.... Which is very disappointing. Overall, it's a good experience. Super impressed by the coffee, and super disappointed by the tea.

A place to go if you are all about coffee. Nice hangout place with friend as well as to have a quiet moment by yourself. I wish the food was as good as the coffee. Dessert was disappointing- the one I ordered looked so good yet tasted so bad. I’ll only recommend this place for people who just want to have a cup of coffee.

Nice coffee shop, clean. I order a Carmel latte, a bit sweet. There's plenty of room for large groups, there's a restroom, and it's handicapped accessible. Full menu available but didn't try anything.

Service is always prompt and polite. The sandwiches and dessert options are excellent. The price is a little higher than what you might expect to pay in Colombo, but the quality justifies the expense. Relatively few non-caffeinated options on the menu, and they unfortunately do not appear to serve fresh juice. Bottled is available but... it's a cafe, not a grocery store, you know?

The best coffee I tasted on my vacation it’s absolutely amazing and it was nice night hangout place vist the place around 11 pm and love the interior as a coffee lover i loved the authentic flavor much recommended coffee out with cakes my kids love the variety of cake my personal fav espresso double shot with medium sugar much love and peace #msn

Loved the coffee here!! Cakes are bit too sweet though! Main negative point was that they don’t have a menu display there. And also they didn’t have any of the ice blends available that day which was their signature drink. So disappointed. And for latte also they had only caramel and chocolate flavors! The staff didn’t mention that or displayed the not unavailable items! We were told only after we went to cashier to place the order. It would have been better if they put up a note or something mentioning that the ice blends are not available so it could have saved us lot of time with deciding what to order!

We just had our breakfast there! Nothing much to appreciate, got the expected service and the food on time with their quality as other “coffee beans” in colombo around. Always a good meeting place with the vibe!

Food and beverages are average lately. Service is terrible if you plan to spend time here. Naturally so since it's just a one man operation. Prices are much higher, with reduced service. No Wifi and no clean ups after others leave unless requested specifically.

The staff made me coffee with one hand while making a phone call. Nice work.I need to pack two cups of coffee. The waiter packs badly. The lid is bigger than the cup. Coffee spilled all over me.

The ambience is amazing. Quality, delicious food. A little above average price range. However loved the service.
