Nice quiet environment. Ambient and music was really soothing. They had variety of menu and excellent service. Food was not bad but can improve in my opinion. Would recommend trying. 😊

Wonderful place for dine in and a cup coffee... comfy and friendly staff... there is small rack with some books for the bookworms...great atmosphere and food is great.we had a buffet prepared and it was awesome. Specially the burgers and club sandwiches...will i visit again? Of course yes..because its quiet and relaxing

Went to Paddington on a weekend in the evening. There's reserved parking infront. The place a few guests. The staff are warm and courteous in their manners. The ambience is good. They have two floors of dining. It looks for like a house converted to a restaurant. They have a few seats outside as well. Good music runs in the background. The menu has savouries including salads, burgers, sandwiches, waffles, sundaes and much more. I ordered a chicken burger and a traditional waffle. I should say that they were yum. The strawberry milkshake was good. The cost was ok, a bit to the higher side maybe. Overall good experience.

Visited the Paddington a couple years back and I sure do hope they've improved now on their food, cos back then, the food was just...meh. It was Okay-ish food that was overpriced. Portions are definitely not filling. The place was cozy and the ambience was decent as well. But overall, it was just not that great :/ since there are way better and tastier options around Colombo nowadays. Won't be visiting them again :/ I guess my first impression of the place as a whole, wasn't a great one

Old house turned in to an English style restaurant. Nothing much to say about food but but over the value. Cozy.

A nice place to relax with friends, enjoy a hot or cold beverage, read a book or play a board game with friends. Has a car park, staff is friendly. Food is really good, the kottu was delicious, should try it. Is not crowded usually so good place to hangout. The beverages are also highly recommended.

My hubby and I visited here yesterday evening. At first we ordered Prawn pasta & Seafood chilli kottu but they said "The chicken dishes only available now" I'm so disappointed because this is our first time at here. So finally we ordered chicken dishes like as Roasted chicken masala kottu and Baked mac & cheese with chicken.. The atmosphere is pretty good. The A/C temperature isn't enough for me. Overall the foods are awesome.

A quite elegant restaurant with friendly staff. There is an ongoing Lunch offer between 11 am and 3 pm, which gives a drink, main course and a desert for 1000 LKR. The food was really great. The Spaghetti Cabonara was served elegantly and tasted even better. Chocolate Waffle for desert was quite memorable. Highly recommend.

Stopped by at the Paddington for dinner with friends. Ordered their Do or Die Burger which was huge but the beef and chicken patties were way too dry. I think it was not a pure meat patty and there was too much binder. My friends said their were okay so perhaps it was just bad luck. We had the Do or Die Burger, Tex Mex Chicken Burger & a Waffle Chicken Burger.

Well for starters, though it looks warm and cozy, the a/c was chilling like a freezer even on a rain pouring day. The seating was not too good either, i could easily keep my chin on the table as we sat (i am 5'1" but even my guy who is 5'9" found the seats too low for the table) and to make matters worse, they mixed up the order and instead of my vegetarian sandwich served me with a sandwich full of meat... 😑 and the drinks look nothing like the pictures on the menu; our chocolate shake (had a fancy name though) was just a shake in an ugly regular glass with a straw unlike the picture of the pretty choco shake in a jar with ice cream and stuff. Sure the staff was very friendly but the delay was too much. The shake was regular but food tasted good putting away the frustration we had from waiting. But comparably expensive and kinda fine for some gossip talk get away but would never recommend for a romantic date or a meeting... ☹️

Paddington has a nice cozy ambience fit for chilling out. Food is very similar to what one would find in a place like Barnesbury. I visted the place recently with a bunch of friends on a Sunday evening. The place only had two other customers at the time, but after sitting down and being offered the menus it took quite a bit of time for the servers to visit us again to take the orders. I had to get up and go looking for one. However, the server was helpful and attentive after we got his attention. I ordered a chicken & cheese kothu varient from their Sri Lankan savory section and a sweet chocolate waffle (I believe it was called the Paddington Special or something) for dessert. The kothu was a let down especially considering the price but the waffle was pretty alright. We also ordered some cold beverages like ice coffee and tea, they were nothing extraordinary. All in all given the price, the taste and the competition, it's a pretty average place to dine in.

Went there a while back and food was just below par both in terms of quality and taste. Place looks dated but the ambiance was ok.
