I'm shocked that this place has all these good reviews! I thought i will have something exceptional but it was a nightmare! I was supposed to be in the luxury room but it was less than accpted: sheets were dirty, the room smells, and the heater in the bathroom was dripping. I thought it was ok since i need to sleep a couple of hours before my early flight. But the room was noisy, i could hear the people in the next room using the washroom, and there was a water generator or whatever that turns on every couple of minutes and it was loud. But what had me to check out at 1:00 am and move to another place is that there was a big lizard with weird voice in the room. I could see it twice running on the wall. I talked to the reception and he refused to move me to another room. He only checked my room ans said there's nothing in it! This place is horrible! Don't get deceived by the good location

A great hotel to spend a few nights in. It is close to a supermarket and some restaurants and malls. Room was clean but not very spacious. All in all a very good hotel compared to the cost, and good when traveling on a budget.

Absolute delight in small package. They had AC, hot water, complimentary water and coffee, extra sets of towels and bedsheets, extra pillows and well lit rooms even for the budget rooms. The from desk manager, Khanna is very helpful. We arrived at later hours and he was up for us to check if we needed anything even after getting inside room. Highly recommended.

Staff are absolutely brilliant here but the boss isn't the nicest. Boss claimed we booked a room without AC which simply isn't true, however offered us an 'upgrade' to an AC room. Room was small and the toilet leaked all over the bathroom floor it was also a little noisy due to the rooftop bar close by. AC stopped working overnight so we were forced to change rooms again. Final room was nice, a bit more space and a bit quieter on the back of the hotel. Location is good, very close to the water and we used ubers to get into the city which was reasonably cheap and took about 20-30mins. Staff were very accommodating and allowed us a late check out that lined up with our train journey so we could change and use the bathroom before leaving. It's a good hotel to stay when on a budget.

A good value for money. Room is clean (we had a deluxe one), location is ok and easy to find (you can use ozo Colombo hotel as a landmark), less than 300rps from Colombo fort by tuk The main advantage of this hotel is the quality of the provided service. You really feel at home ! The owner Roy makes sure that you get an unforgettable stay ! It was by far the best service we had in Sri Lanka. Here are some few examples of what he did for us : he ensures that the tuk tuk asks for a fair price, he was always here to help, bargains for our cab back to the airport. He even brought us cakes to wish us a happy new year !!! (We were there on the 31st of December) We highly recommend this place to stay (young couple for leisure).

I went to see my uncle who stayed there. They provided single room for 5000/ day But allowed to use the hall and dining table since the other rooms were vacant .

Super friendly stuff makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Convenient location and a well-known Barefoot tea shop / gallery in walking distance. I’d stop here again!

We arrived late due to our flight and were greeted immediately by the staff in a helpful and friendly manner. The rooms are very clean, tidy and comfortable. We felt very comfortable during our stay. The manager and his team did everything to make our stay very enjoyable. There were many tips on activities and sights that we looked at, as well as on the history of the country. No matter what request we had, we were always helped. Thanks for that :). A stay at the property is highly recommended.
