It's one of my worst experiences yesterday 13th January 2021 .I took my son around 1.30 pm he had an accidental injury deep cut in the nose when we came to the emergency unit they took him and said cannot do because we have to do the PCR TEST and after the report come only we can do the surgery tomorrow . I was very upset and called Dr. Nuwan and he help.us to do and rapid antigen test and admit . A round 2.45 pm he was taken to 8th floor to a room and the service was Horrible dont care level. At 4.30 pm he was taken to the theatre for surgery and it took more than one and half hour and around 7 pm Dr. Benaragama came and spoke very well and explained and told nothing to worry to bring him after a week to see . He did a wonderful job but other hand they took long to take him to the room and doctor told to discharge and I told them after dinner we will leave and around 8.45 pm I went to pay the bill.i have to wait 15 mts only one person was working and came around 9 pm to the ward and gave the bill and said wait and not bothered to attend later a attendant saw me and vanished and again 10 mts later another one came and took and gave me the ticket and I ordered a wheel chair for the patient and never came and again a nurse order never came and an attendant came and said no wheel chair all are bussy no one was working in the floor desk was empty photos uploaded for reference i took my son after waiting 30 minute took him down and saw more than 8 wheel chairs and chatting on the phones. This the service you get after paying a big amount at lanka hospital I was dissatisfied Customer. Please think twice before going to this place same treatment.

Came to the hospital 🏥 for a rapid-antigen test. At the time of registration up to getting the results, experienced a supportive service. Things are getting done in less time so did not experience a long line. 🔬👨‍🔬 As usual, takes 2 hours to get the report 🔖 Did not face any issues in finding a parking spot as there is much space in the parking area 🚗🚐 Reasonable price with a clean environment 🌳 Cheers Lanka Hospital.. 🥂

Lanka Hospitals stands as a premier healthcare facility in Sri Lanka, renowned for its top-notch amenities and specialist care. It's among the finest hospitals in the country, offering world-class treatment. However, the high prices may deter some patients, despite the exceptional quality of service provided.

I recommend this for any kind of health service but don't take the pharmacy service since it will waste your valuable time( nearly one-hour duration for each customer especially in the evening)This location has many parking slots which could be seen at the entrance...The service staff is friendly... However, you may experience typical Sri Lankan hospital hospitality( arrogant and stagnated) from some counters but the overall staff is friendly enough...

Went to this place to collect a report. Had a great experience at the Lanka Hospitals. Doctors and the staff were very professional, kind and supportive. Specially, doctors arrived on time for appointments. The bad experience I had in the Hospital was paying a vehicle parking fee because it is unfair to charge a parking fee from patients. Anyway, I am so glad to choose Lanka Hospital and would highly recommend to anyone.

Very bad approach of pharmacy at here. Everyday they said we will order from our head hospital and give the medicines tomorrow but they never fulfill their words. Disappointed.

I attended Zoe priority health by Lanka hospitals to get an antigen test prior to returning back to the UK and the staff & doctors were friendly & polite & speak English. The facilities are clean. The test is a good price. If you are in Sri Lanka and need to do a PCR or antigen test definitely come here

I highly recommend Dr. Mohamed Rishard as an exceptional gynecologist. We switched doctors multiple times during our pregnancy, but we were lucky to find Dr. Rishard, who is undoubtedly the best. His preference for natural birth and his humble and caring approach make him a superhuman being in our eyes. He never pushes unnecessary procedures or treatments for the sake of making money, which is truly admirable. Thanks to his expertise and support, we were blessed with a healthy baby yesterday. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate gynecologist, Dr. Rishard is the one you can trust. I also want to give a shout-out to the delivery hospital, Lanka Hospital. 4 Stars for services reduced a star because they have added incorrect data on our Diagnosis Card Apart from the above concern The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and well taken care of. The facilities were clean, modern, and well-equipped, which added to our peace of mind during a nerve-wracking time. Highly recommend it to any expecting parents out there.

*Very disappointed* A few employees have strong racist views. May God provide them a thorough understanding of humanity, While all religions teach the same thing, some adhere to it, hence it is impossible to judge someone based solely on their religion.

Nice clean hospital, but don't go to the Lanka hospital pharmacy in the hospital.. Time wasting, you have to wait at least 20-30 minutes to take even a one medicine though there are only a few people...

Went for a day procedure and the entire experience from registration to discharge was painfully slow! Waiting times are absurd and the staff just make you wait and wait with no respect to people’s time. The hospital has a lot of room to improve their processes to make patient experience better. Waited 1 hour to be called in for the procedure Waited 45 mins after surgery because there were no transport staff Waited 1 hour to get the final bill and discharge papers. All this for a <30min minor surgery / procedure. Feel free to reach out and I’m happy to provide suggestions on how you can streamline your processes.

Utterly disappointed about the behavior of the staff,so unwelcoming and not courteous to come forward and provide service to their customers, I guess the government hospitals have a better service than this hospital. Basically the customers should walk over to the staff and inquire things to detail and they simply make themselves feel at home attending to their very own discussions and etc. customer service is pathetic!! I’m surprised as to how this hospital operates at this rate with an underrated staff with a negative attitude. I’d never chose this hospital over any other, even in an emergency.

Not happy about the service of receptionists of the hospital... They don't know how to treat callers with kindness and equality... Hospital is a place that treats patients for their good health... For that first they need to learn how to talk patients... However rest of the staff is good...

Lanka Hospital (formerly Apollo Hospital Sri Lanka) is a multi-specialty tertiary care hospital in Sri Lanka and is one of the largest private hospitals in the country. That is a subsidiary of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation. The company's previous owned by Apollo Hospitals. It was founder by Dr. Pratap C. Reddy in India. It is situated on Elvitigala Mawatha, also known as Baseline Road, which is a direct route from the Colombo's international airport. It is also only a few minutes drive from central Colombo. The hospital was commissioned in 2002 as a branch of Apollo Hospitals India. The hospital was taken over by Sri Lanka Insurance in 2006. In 2009, it was renamed Lanka Hospitals after it ended a licensing and support services agreement with Apollo Hospitals. There are approximately 350 beds at the hospital including four intensive care units (medical, cardiothoracic, renal and neonatal). The wards are divided into either individual rooms or cubicles with six beds each, depending on the patients’ choice.

Very disappointed service from staff. My wife got admitted to 5020 on 22/10/2023 and since then, it was very poor experience. Never recommend this hospital to anyone. It used to be a good hospital. The trainnee had to use two canulars. Ward phone was never answered. Had to go to the counter all time and saw that they have muted the phone. Admitted for a biopsy but the staff and doctors failed to check the conditions.

Good caring and nice hospitality. Cool and Clean environment. Friendly environment for discussing with doctors and nurses. But you need to wait more than 2 hrs after discharging for finalizing the bill. Also you should double check the bill since it is not reliable. Specially for room charges.

Lanka hospital is a excellent place to visit for our health issues . Because lanka hospital staffs, managment, Doctors, nurses, workers, rooms are very perfect and very tidy clean and well organized rooms and hospital. the my suggestion is to visit lanka hospital because everything of that hospital is well organized, in wanted time there all to help us indeed and all of the people of the hospital know how to work in that time, well socialize and well discipline and know how to have good conversation with patients and others and very friendly too. so another thing the rooms charge are very fare so it's a 5star service hospital.

PCR test area at Lanka hospitals put people at risk of getting contacted to Covid-19 due to their disorderly procedures followed at the point of testing. Poor staff practice and poor hygiene at premises! And keep the patients waiting for hours. Please get your tests done at Nawaloka hospital drive thru, if you wish to do private. Superb service and no risk at all!

Overall the facilities are well managed . My mother was admitted there for two days in deluxe category room. And the facilities were good. The linen was cleaned regularly and we don’t have to worry about the patients higene. The food also amazing and the patient can eat without feeling unfit. The sisters , nurses , doctors and other staff also very friendly, supportive and I would like to give my special thanks for all of them. The prices also reasonable by comparing to their service and I am highly satisfied from the service of lanka hospitals. But I have to mention this too . In normal channeling unit the nurses are not qualified and no disciplines at all. They always joking with the doctor and don’t even care the customers. And also the pharmacy at the ground floor is so slow. There are so many things to improve. The vending machines aren’t working.

Based on my first visit, I would recommend this since the service I received was excellent and the staff are friendly. All the testing facilities are available here including CT scanning, X-ray, blood testing etc. Also the place is well organised so that not much of a time is wasted in waiting in long queues or in finding directions. There is a canteen inside but I have not visited. There is a large parking area but most of the times still it's difficult to find a place to park. You will be charged for the hours you parked there and seems that is implemented to discourage people from parking and going outside to do other works.

(Translated by Google) My wife went here the other day to have a baby. Overall they gave a good service. Can't say 100% good. If they claim from insurance they ask how much is the limit. They can fix it. I think the quality of the wash room is not good enough. Go out of the labor room and carry the weight. Take the baby out of the room to bathe. I see it as a disadvantage. There is a person called Sista Janani in the labor room. She was very kind and gave me the best professional nursing care. I am grateful to her. Scratching her hips was a great strength for my wife during such a difficult time. Thanks Lanka Hospital. Lanka Hospitals has the worst Cafeteria ever! We went around 6pm and the food was so stale and disgusting and it was served cold and its staff in it weren't friendly at all!! When asked to put it in the microwave, they said that they don't have a microwave. The worst part was when we asked the LH staff for the prayer room, we were sent to 3 different directions of the hospital to find it and after 20 mins of trying to locate it, two janitorial staff members told us that there is no more prayer room due to the corona problem....so strange that some other big hospitals still have it!! I think Asiri Central hospital is by far the best and the most superior over all hospitals in Sri Lanka...even the staff over there are better informed and more updated than the staff in LH!

Worst place for channeling. During this COVID19 period Sri Jayewardenepura hospital is not treating patients and discharging them without any progress. My mother also had to face that issue. Therefore I had to make an urgent appointment for Doctor Priyankara Jayawardene. Numbers were full at that time and when I called the channeling service for a possible solution for this matter, they never responded positively. And were not customer oriented. Never listened what I said and what my issue was. They didn't give a f***. Then I called Asiri Medical and they helped me a lot and suggested possible solutions for this matter. Never recommend this place. Employees have no proper training.

Supportive staff . Had to pay a vehicle parking fee. it is unfair to charge a parking fee from patients.

This morning I had to accompany someone to the Lanka Hospital to get some reports, and while he was in line for the procedure, I went to the cafeteria on the ground floor to buy something to eat. Once I was at the counter selecting what I wanted, another customer approached the counter and informed us that two of the items she bought a little while ago were found to be stale and spoilt. She took the items returned and casually dumped them on a table behind her. I was surprised to see the nonchalant response of the counter girl. There was no apology or refund offered. When I went to collect my order from the other side, I asked to see the person who was in charge of the unit, and a person by the name of Mario appeared in front of me to know why I wanted to see him. I asked whether he was aware that some food items purchased from the outlet a few minutes ago were returned by another customer. He was not aware and then only the counter girl took some interest in briefing her superior about the reported incident. When I asked him what he plans to do about this incident, his casual response was that he would notify the chef in due course. When I insisted that the reported spoilt items should be taken off the counter, he had shown an even more casual response. The purpose of this message is to report this incident so that similar incidents will not be reported in a well-established place like yours. I sincerely hope that you will look into the incident and take necessary precautions to avoid a repetition of such an incident and retrain your staff on customer care as well.

Honestly this may be a great building and a structure (Surroundings are beautiful) and the main building area is beautiful. But there is no parking slots from 4pm. At parking there are assistants they advice to park the vehicle on the pavement. You know what the cost of a gear box these days? My vehicle got a big tap on underside (When do you provide a normal parking?) came after consultation had to wait more than half an hour because someone was parked his vehicle blocking my vehicle. These things adviced by parking lot assistants. Came to channeling area on 3rd floor (On the day I'm writing this to meet Dr Ranjith Peris). No places to sit to channelling patients. Patients and their relatives standing. You know Dr Ranjith gets many liver diseases patients who are terminally ill. They are just standing in front of the room. Finally when I requested a place to sit a plastic chair received. Absolutely no place to seat the person who accompanied the patient. Also, ground floor customer care service are like dolls, Well dressed but they cant speak. When we asks something they don't hear. Hello!!!! We paid for your services and came! This is the quality you are maintaining? Worst place to visit in an illness. Really Im not preaching or taking advantage of online forums. We came hear because we don't need the service of a government Hospital level. But nowadays government Hospitals are better. Definitely Nawaloka and Asiri are heavens. If a manager see this "Do your job or leave it for some who can do it!". Visit here only if your consultant doesn't practice any where else.

Lack health and safety standards. There was water on visitor toilet floors and toilet seats. I noticed the cleaning crew just spray water everywhere all over toilet. I asked the lady why she’s spraying water and she mentioned that’s how they clean it. No disinfectants or cleaning agents are being used. They use a towel to mop the floor and just leave it in the toilet which might cause someone to trip and fall. None of the hand dryers were working and there were no paper hand towels. Can’t believe a private hospital can’t maintain proper hygiene & safety standards.

Day care ward staff is very kind and helpful. Highly recommend. But be careful with billing section. I have contacted the hospital before my mom admitted. discussed clearly about healthcare package details. They called again and informed the package price has been increased. We accepted it because it was last moment call. But at the end it has been increased from Unreasonable charges which they couldn’t even describe how it happened. Funny thing is this bill had a discount too. But still very high than we expected without even getting anything extra out from the package we agreed. All they said is, it’s for extra medicines. But as extra medicine my mom got only a painkiller pill. When I complain about this matter the price has been reduced a bit and that also unexplainable. We were very tired from morning to night both physically and mentally about our loved one and then this happened. I got no energy to even talk. So paid the bill and returned. Next day I called them regarding another matter and the lady on other side recommended me to visit government hospital. Not in a harsh way. But still it feels like she talked about my financial stability. They should improve billing transparency and good communication among inter departments first. Disappointed!

This is not regarding the Lanka hospital other services. But it’s about the horrible land line customer service. When we place a call we have to wait in the line for hours until someone reach to the line… it’s really irritating. That’s the only thing I don’t like about lanka hospitals. This happened to me several days and also today! We are not calling to the hospital to make fun but to check regarding a channel or a doctor. Pls be efficient from your end. Don’t make your customers disappointed.

Parking is a mess. You have to go round and round to find a parking slot. So called VIP people can park in front of lobby without any hassle. Washrooms are not good. Smelly and ventilation is bad. Majority of the staff is not trained and experienced. I think school leavers come and work as nurses. Can't recommend for residential treatments. Channeling can manage any how.

I went to Lanka Hospital for my wife's caesarean section. The operation was successful. A day later we were admitted to the hospital again. That's because the baby has a germ in its body. The doctor concluded that he would have to be treated for 21 days. We agreed. After 11 days, the baby had a sore with pus where the cannula was attached to his right leg. Hospital officials said this was due to negligence on the part of the staff. The baby is still 14 days old. Doctors say he will have to have leg surgery. Because of their negligence, my wife and I still cannot imagine what happened at this hospital

Hospital facilities and other services are far better than the pharmacy service. The service in the pharmacy is awful and a waste of time. Inefficient staff at the pharmacy and process. It seems they've made it complicated.

The hospital provided excellent care and had a knowledgeable staff. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment. The doctors and nurses were attentive, compassionate, and ensured my needs were met. I appreciated their clear communication and prompt response to my queries. Overall, a top-notch hospital that prioritizes patient well-being.

Went for a full heart checkup. They started my appointment on time. Things were very fast thanks to the number of enough staffs. Big thanks to those girls who work there so hard. They work so efficiently. Doctors are friendly, except the 2nd appointment the doc was late for 20 min. All the document are well prepared and i received my medical results via SMS which i can access through the web portal, this is an awesome feature. This is a big hospital please, keep your entrance area more cleaner and well organized. the first impression starts their.

I recently visited Lanka Hospitals, and I must say, the experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the lack of sufficient space near the doctor channeling rooms was incredibly frustrating. It felt like a maze trying to navigate through the cramped corridors. The canteen's food quality was disappointing, with flies swarming around the dishes, making it a rather unappetizing sight. The unpleasant odors permeating the air only added to the overall discomfort. To top it off, the fact that they charge for parking while other hospitals offer it for free seems like an unnecessary burden on visitors. It is my sincere hope that Lanka Hospitals takes customer satisfaction seriously and makes the necessary improvements to provide a better experience for their patients.

The experience throughout the hospitalization was amazing with this hospital. Everyone was very caring, kind and helpful. We were treated very well by the staff of hospital and I was wondering the smooth and detailed system of procedures in place with clean and neat facilities under reasonable charge. We stayed in premiere supper deluxe room. Meals also superb and had good variety to select based on our tastes. Caring was excellent ❤️. Overall I would say this is a one of #1 private hospital in Sri Lanka.

Lanka hospitals have always been my go to. But it’s horrible service now. I had two appointments, first one was alright. The doctor was friendly and answered my questions. The second one was one and a half hours late!!!!!!!! And finally after a loong wait, went to the pharmacy where the pharmacist took forever to bill or give the meds. There’s no point coming to a private hospital to get a worse experience than a government hospital. Overall I spend over 4 hours because of the incompetence.

Lanka hospitals offers the latest medical technology. There are good doctors and spacious waiting areas. However, the reception staff, counter staff at the OPD's aren't cordial at all. I was sitting there with my father for almost an hour before another patient told us that we have to get our eyes checked before we go to the doctor, There were no instructions to do so on entrance, nor did the OPD 2 staff enquire, till I went and checked it out. I thought that it was very inconsiderate. The canteen was okay with two food outlets- one serving average food at a very affordable price where as the other took orders.

Satisfied with the services they provide. Everything seems systematic and orderly, which cuts a huge headache compared to many places which they seem to not understand what they are doing (except for the doctors). The doctors and nurses are really professional and helpful clarifying any question thats asked.
